There was a spaghetti and meatballs but I don't eat meat so passed on it. We ordered wine to start. Wanted to enjoy our wine and bread before our food came but omg, the food showed up 5 mins after ordering it. How did they do that?! Was a little disappointed that it was rushed out so soon. We each ordered a salad. I had the harvest salad, hubby ordered the Caesar. Mine was delicious with beets and goat cheese. The Caesar was covered in a ton of bacon. Both were huge. I barely made a dent in mine. We split the mussels. The broth was garlicky, creamy and super tasty. Highly recommend the mussels however, you really only need one salad for 2 or 3 people. I also found the room we were in very dark. Would like to say it was cozy but it was just too loud to be a cozy date night spot. Great for large groups.

She greeted us promptly, took our drink order and gave us the time we requested. HINT: If you're not in a hurry, I suggest you ask your waiter/waitress to order the entree's when you get your salad/soup. The food was delicious, the service (refills/dinner checks/parmesan) was prompt, courteous and friendly. We had enough left over to have 3 more meals later! Based on our meal and service today, I would gladly recommend ESM for Lunch or Dinner

The telephone was not ringing off the hook and only two people arrived for pick-up orders. The server apologized for the delay. The spaghetti needed more sauce, the meatballs were average and the garlic bread was over toasted. We would have liked a refill of our water but our server didn't return, until she arrived with the bill. For a $30 meal of spaghetti and meatballs, we were disappointed. It served as a reminder to us that for the same price, we can serve many friends the same dinner, including wine and dessert ,and have a friendlier ambiance.
