I've been here many times and would have said this was at least a 4-star... but my last trip was terrible! I do NOT complain about food but on this occasion the fish was so dry that it, quite literally, could not be eaten. The best they would do was take 15% off my tab... and I had guests with me. It will be a while before I take anyone there with me again. They will have to earn my trust first...

Seafood fettuccine. Blue mussels, scallops and big shrimp.

The service is gruff, all tho you make a reservation they tell you to sit anywhere, no one was there to receive my friends and I, and We did make reservation; the waitress we had was absolutely gentle and nice to take our order, the cost was fair for the presentation, the atmosphere is good. The seafood fettuccine I had, was tasty. Would recommend it ! Maybe it's just the lack of caring for customers from the staff that makes the place less appealing to return.

Love the setting of this restaurant come boutique hotel. It's situated just off the main drag which is nice as it gets away from the hustle and bustle (what there is) of the main downtown street! Sitting outside does allow for some people watching which is always good fun. The menu is a simple one which covers the basic food groups, so I am not suggesting that you come here for Michelin quality food but more so for the ambiance and the quality of the service. The staff were all attentive but allowed you to get on with your own thing, which I always prefer. As I said the food does the job and hit the spot. I think what took me with this place is that it was away from the other eateries and offered a different vibe. Dining inside was another experience as it was quite dark inside but once my eyes adjusted I was fine. They have some unusual art work on the walls so i am not quite sure what theme they are going for but all in all it did not really bother me. Service was quick, although it was not very busy. They have a good selection of drinks behind the bar was extensive. They had a couple of groups in but even then the noise was not intrusive. All in all I would come back here, might even try a room for a night as they look very good from what I could see.

    Perfect Pub!

Food, services and ambiance all great. This is a small venue below the boutique hotel. Enjoyed live music and appetizers.

While in Sackville, we stopped in here for an afternoon break to check out the place. Located near Mt. Allison University, this unique market (in an old yellow house) offers a good selection of organic and gluten free groceries, health foods, and vegetarian products. They carry vitamins, dietary supplements, fair trade organic coffee, teas, cheeses, chutneys, salsa, buckwheat flour, bread mixes, lentils, flaxseed, organic baking mixes, organic molasses, ceramic teapots, handcrafted goods, and much more. The back of the market houses a cozy gluten free bakery cafe counter offering fresh gluten free & organic baked goods (focaccia thin buns, cinnamon buns, muffins, cookies, cakes, breads), sandwiches, soups, salads, fair trade organic coffees espresso, lattes, and real fruit smoothies. The menu is gluten free and vegetarian with vegan and dairy free options. There's seating along the back window and outside covered patio seating in front of the market. Before heading out, we shared two gingerbread cookies (organic & gluten free) for our light snack. The cookies were coated with granular sugar on the top which had a soft and very chewy dense texture and overall not sugary sweet. This fine "Goose" is definitely worth checking out!
