The food was excellent! All homemade and I tried the soup tonight It was hot and ready very quick and the waitress that served me was lovely. She served me bread and olive oil on the side for my soup and it was all delicious. "First time visiting and we were so impressed! Our meals came with a side, plus bread and soup!! Prices are very reasonable for all the food you get. Lasagne was delicious!! The Pork chop was excellent too. Our server "Patrick" was amazing!! Very friendly, and attentive. He was happy to share info about the history of the restaurant. Excellent service. Everything presented in good time and taste. Like the atmosphere, even though the time I went was very quiet. Apps were great. The sausage and lentil soup was a great addition . Worth the trip alone. I got the Sampler with the classics: Lasagna was very tasty as was the Chicken Parm. The Fettuccine Alfredo tasted good, but seemed like it needed something , but I might have not peppered it enough. Overall experience very good. read more

Food certainly cannot be duplicated to Florida Carrabba's. Hard to get same quality of foods in Canada, although I will say some items are quite close. Service has always been excellent. Was staying at the Hyatt hotel upstairs, and ordered soup and bread for lunch. Tomato soup was excellent and it came with a generous serving of fresh bread nicely sliced. Convenient service to room as well. Would recommend for a quick lite lunch. read more

Had dinner for my husbands birthday last night with 6 guests. I found the meal was cold. Tasteless, lacking. Caesar salad was wilting, not crisp, no bacon. Grilled chicken meal we lacking taste, warm, broccoli was cold. We had one small dish of dipping oils between 6 people. Honestly that was pathetic. Strawberry cheese cake was a skinny wedge. Was no better then a slice of frozen store bought cheese cake. So so disappointed in the meal. My husbands meal was a chunk of lasagna. Thats it. !!!!!! How appealing, NOT. Will not go there again. Probably the worst pasta that I've ever had at a restaurant. Clumpy and welded together. Overpriced for what you get, especially the alcohol. It's unfortunate, as this chain is a go to of mine stateside. I guess it doesn't travel well. Save your time and money and head to Gusto's or Rossanas. read more

Located in the Hyatt Place building, convenient if you are staying here. Open one year at time of review. I had Fettuccine Carrabba with chicken. Wife had spagetti with meat sauce. Waited about 20 min for the water. Staff don't appear organized, most of the time about 4 greeters hovering around the front, 4-6 wait staff hovering near the kitchen area. Very clean. Flavour was good but first time I've had Fettuccine where the sauce was more like a soup. Portion size very good. I think it's very pricey to pay $50 for two pasta dishes, with no wine, and no desert. Our waitress was excellent with her attentiveness but like I said - 20 minutes to water, while up to ten staff standing around doing zilch isn't good use of staff. After the salad dishes were cleared away, we were about 10 more minutes to the entree. Again, not good work flow. I think this may be a learning curve thing, but one year into the business, management should have staff better acclimated to a full service experience. I did notice the other tables were getting the same speed of service, so we were not unique in that regard. Ambiance is decent, but the music was pretty muted and the ambient noise from clatter and customer chats really overpowered the tunes - couldn't really make it out. I wouldn't call this a subdued place to go on a romantic date. I'd come again if staying at the hotel, because that makes it convenient, but would not make any special trip to come here; would not be worth any extra effort at all. The menu was substantially smaller than the Carrabba's we have visited in the USA. Our visit was on Oct 1, 2021. read more

I had high hopes as Carrabba's is a chain I'm very familiar with in the USA. I write this review because of my disappointment with the total experience. My wife and I had the Linguine with Alfredo sauce and shrimp and the plate was just "old." The pasta was overcooked and the sauce had actually started to congeal and harden on the pasta. The shrimp appeared to have been added as an afterthought. This was a big night out for us in the pandemic and my wife was really looking forward to another Carrabba's memorable experience. She literally had 3 bites of the meal. The kicker on the night was the $10 we had to pay for restaurant parking, something I was unaware of when informed that my parking ticket being validated would cost $10. Who goes to a restaurant in Moncton and pays $10 for parking? I am only sorry that I didn't complain at the time as we were with family members and actually enjoying the ambiance of the new restaurant. Only later when I found out that my wife had literally abandoned her meal and we discussed the evening did we come to the conclusion that it was one of the worst $120 dining experiences we had been thru. I hope they can turn it around. They will most certainly have to address the parking cost issue. read more
