The bartender came over and told us we were not aloud to speak the way we were and then asked us if we were offended by her opinion of our private conversation. We told her "ya! this is a bar at 1am and we're offended that we lost our freedom to privacy and basic speech". We then asked nicely for our bills to pay and then immediately left.
