I called Superheroes Locksmith because they serviced my area and I had locked my keys in my car…read more The operator took down all my information, and when I asked about pricing, he told me the technician would provide more details. When the technician called, he said he'd arrive in about 40 minutes. I asked again about the cost, and he told me it "usually" runs about $70 plus a $20 service fee. That sounded reasonable, so I agreed. He arrived and unlocked my car in less than five minutes--which I appreciated--but then handed me an invoice for $250. When I questioned the price, he denied ever mentioning $90. I didn't want to escalate the situation, so I paid, but I was incredibly disappointed. I feel misled and overcharged. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on my experience. Be cautious--they're not upfront about pricing, and I walked away feeling taken advantage of.

Shady and scam artists. Don't trust the 5 stars…read more I locked myself out of my car at the Covina AMC, keys left on the drivers seat. I called them, explained the situation and asked for an estimate, they gave me a weird answer about how they needed to see the car, despite asking me for the year, make and model. Money is tight so I didn't wanna waste either of our time. 40 minutes later their "employee", some random kid, looked like he was coming from home, pulls up. I explain to him the situation and once again ask for an estimate. Money is tight. He brushes me off saying he has to look at the car. $260 he tried to charge me after messing up my door with his balloons. $260 is ridiculous - shouldn't have been more than $50-$150. Luckily my lady and I had a backup plan to uber home and back with our spare - it would've have cost us a total of $60. I tell this man $260 is ridiculous and that I could only do $150. Here's the kicker. He looks at his phone as if speaking w someone, and settles on $150 IF and only IF I leave a good review. At this point my lady loses her cool and starts cursing out the dude cus of the ridiculous pricing. I realized this was a waste of time and tell him that we're just gonna Uber home instead. This guy had the nerve to ask me to pay for "services". WHAT SERVICE. He bulged my door out with his balloon gizmo and did nothing else. Tried to charge me $50 for him just coming out. Ridiculous. Do not trust these reviews. Do not give these scammers business. Suspiciously just as this guy drove away, a "different" locksmith company called me back, after over an hour mind you, and asked what the issue was. I simply hung up. Decided to take the time to leave this to spare anyone else their time and money. And to help you see behind the lying 5 star reviews. If I could leave negative stars. I would. EDIT 19 hours after posting this review and the same review on google, I get a call from the owner attempting to BRIBE me into taking down the review. I was being nice and respectful until he tried to bribe me and called me disrespectful and dishonest for not agreeing to. After that I lost my temper. What is honest and respectful about hiding the truth? Stay AWAY from these SCAMMERS. He threatened to call me nonstop until I took the review down. This is a screenshot of him spamming me until I blocked the number.

I requested that the box arrive completely unopened and he agreed to this. The previous 2 times this was done for me by Freedom Locksmith, the box had shrink wrap on in, but the 2 guys had already broken the seal on the shrink wrap, despite me having asked the second time for this to NOT be done. When searching for a new locksmith, I accidentally put in a quote that sent the information out to 7-8 different locksmiths and Next Door Locksmith was one of them. I went with him because he knew exactly what I needed without me having to repeat myself via email message several times. I again asked for the box to come completely unopened. Next Door Locksmith agreed. He came with the box, but it did not have any shrink wrap this time, which I found a little odd and questioned him, but it was more imperative for me to have a new lock put on. This installation was about $75 more than the previous 2 times with the other locksmith (Freedom Locksmith). When having the receipt emailed to me instead of sent via text; the transaction receipt was from Freedom Locksmith. When I sent another message questioning the Nissin G. about this, his response was that he is the same person and that he never worked with me before. Which he did the first time. The second time he sent a different guy and this time it seems as though he's just creating additional business names on Yelp for an unknown reason. Either way, the cost of this service was a lot more expensive than the 2 prior times for the same service from the same company. I'm giving 3 stars only because of the cost and my concern of this being the same company I used prior, but them using a different name.

Just called that number again to confirm that this is the correct company I'm reviewing. Unfortunately, I was in a bind and my door was stuck. The latch would not slide and so I was unable to close my door, leaving my apartment exposed and unsecured. I called All Pro for help and ended up getting my two lock (combo door locks) replaced. The technician, Rafael Barak, said he'd give me an estimate but by the time I checked in, he had already replaced both locks. I expected to pay $200, maybe $300 but no. He was charging me over $650. After back and forth, he reduced the price a couple times. Paid him a certain amount via Venmo, which was another red flag. I was in disbelief that within 20 minutes, I'd be charged so much. After he left, I did some research on prices for products within the same brand as the new lock the technician installed. I know there is an installation fee but prices for the products were far from the amount on the written receipt. The creepy part is that I called the next morning to get more info on prices for the locks. When I told phone rep about my experience, he sounded surprised and stated he'd forward my info to the supervisor. Minutes after, the technician called me to confront me and ask what was going on. I don't know if all staff is in on a scheme but this was odd. I know that this is the correct Yelp business because when the technician called me, he acknowledged my review. I initially submitted a 5-star review with few words as a "placeholder" and updating now, 2 months later, hoping they're not able to identify me and call me again. When you call, they only call themselves "the locksmith" and don't use "all pro". And I received return calls from different numbers which throws me off. I don't know. Just seems so sketchy. Anyway, besides a delay in arrival, then work was great so I'm leaving a high review still but I'm writing this to let future customers know to be more attentive, ask more questions and just be aware. All Pro should be more transparent and they don't seem very ethical. I'm not one to ask for lower prices if I truly feel it's worth it but so many things felt "off" and I was left so confused from my google search, up until my last phone exchange with the technician. Like, I was expecting someone to fix my lock, not replace it and it felt things were done without my consent. Anyway, a little scared they might call me again after they read this updated review.
