My problem was for a 2005 Taurus; I only had a valet key which would not start the car due to the security ignition system. I needed a replacement master key with the transponder chip. My teenage daughter decided to play catch with her FOB at school and broke it. It worked for a while and then it didn't when she kept jamming the key in the broken part it eventually broke off the sensor for theft detector. I was so excited today as I got a new FOB from eBay that came in as it said easy to program. Wow that's a lie. It doesn't work at all. I called around and Tim was so nice he helped me all day and even at one point recommended where I could try to get a key cut for cheap since I'm on a tight budget. Long story short... Tim ended up coming all the way to Ojai to help me at night. He fixed it all and it now works great. Tim did charge me a little for commute as he's in Oxnard but I understand as gas is still expensive. I do recommend his business read more

Locked ourselves out of our bedroom on the weekend. Everyone else in town either said they couldn't help or was going to charge 300 some dollars for after hours. This company set someone to our house late on a weekend night and it was much MUCH less $. Roman showed up and was very polite and set right to work. He worked for a good solid hour to unlock our door. I was honestly about to lose hope and then we heard it click. And then bonus points. They actually made a new key for us on the spot because we couldn't find the one for the upstairs door. read more

I was so impressed with EZ Car Keyz's efficiency and the way they genuinely care about the people they serve. Nick came all the way out to SB on a cold evening after my car keys were stolen at an outdoor track, and he quickly got into my car and made me a new key. He was friendly, skilled, and trustworthy. Where to begin....... First off i wanna say that this business is a horrible one. Yeah they cut keys, but let me tell you there are 2 individuals who don't know the proper morales and values of customer service. They lack integrity , patience, and understanding. I call the number on google they have listed, and one of the guys instructed me to go to them in Oxnard to where he lives. After the fact they advertise MOBILE SERVICES. Then i get there and they say yeah we are mobile for 90$. So then from the minute i get there this guy has an attitude already like he doesn't even wanna help me. I Also brought my dad, because he wanted to get his key cut and purchase a remote as well. So at the same i'm bringing this guy more business he gets impatient with attitude. Im thinking how hard can it be to cut keys man seriously. Anyway we continue he then gets in my vehicle and starts recording without purpose without my consent. All of a sudden he wants to argue with me about my key saying "i don't wanna cut your key because its worn out already". My original key was fine i just wanted an extra key. This went on for about 20 minutes till he decided to cut my key. He then asked me to pay him first for the service in a very rude offensive way. When you have a service done on your vehicle you pay when its done everybody knows that. He than wanted to argue about that for 10-15 minutes. So he finally cuts it comes back and says "here its for free for the troubles were cool" he say's. So i'm thinking okay were coo now he can cut my dads key and make his remotes, But instead he walks to his truck slams the door and goes back into his apartment. So i'm thinking is he coming back out or what i'm confused. We patiently wait until he comes back out and he does but this as a whole different person entirely. He states things like "i don't want to serve people like you , i don't give a f*** about my customers , You ask to many questions ,. The list goes on of all kinds of things Niv said. I will be posting a video on youtube so you guys can witness it all for yourself. I advise you great people out there to reach out to the better business bureau Ventura County doesn't need to deal with rude business people. read more

I have used this locksmith 4 times and it has been the same gentleman every time he hasn't let me down he shows up when he says he will be there, in fact, he arrives early I own and operate an auto repair shop and I have used a few different locksmiths over the years some good some bad but from the 1st job EZ Car Keyz did for me I was very impressed because I had 2 other locksmiths both failed at making and programming a BMW fob key that would work without having a spare key to work from and his cost is always lower than other locksmiths the price he quotes is the price you pay he has never charged me more than what he quoted the only problem I have EZ Car Keyz is I didn't meet him sooner I own my and operate an auto repair shop and I have a lot experience dealing with locksmiths and in my opinion, you won't find anyone that will have a lower price or be more knowledgable you can't go wrong with EZ CAR KEYZ sincerely, Dennis White. read more
