There are three great food trucks parked next to this one. This hibachi truck is definitely the worst option.

The service was excellent, Niko was our server. I enjoyed the caesar salad. Several people ordered the short rib and really liked it. The presentation of the food was good. The filet was really good. I really liked the 1/2 potatoes, it was really yummy. The portion size was good and the prices were as expected. Since we were in a side room, it was a bit quieter and had soft music playing.

Our server, Terri, was amazing!!! She was on top of the many cocktails that were being ordered and kept up the water for us non-drinkers, she was the best. Our food, from appetizers to the main courses, were amazing. The Cioppino was awesome and I would definitely like to try it again since I didn't get to eat it. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is, the young girl they had helping take dishes and help in other areas looked like she didn't want to be there. I didn't see her smile once even though I made eye contact several times and smiled at her. As our dinner was wrapping up, I was in the middle of a conversation, I looked up to see her walking away with my full bowl of Cioppino (I had eaten too many appetizers). I had literally eaten 3 clams and one slice of the bread. I hadn't touched my shrimp or lobster. When Terri walked in as the girl was leaving, I asked her if she was boxing up my dinner for me. Terri immediately went to check. She came back stating that my meal had been thrown out and that she would take $20 off my meal. I didn't want to cause a scene during the festivities so I accepted her offer (it wasn't her fault.) I am disappointed that I still had to pay $25 for a meal that I didn't get to enjoy. I have never had someone come take my plate without asking if I was finished, let alone without asking if I wanted to take it home. We spent over $2,500 for dinner and I don't think we will be back for another party. I would definitely recommend this place, just make sure to hold on to your plate if you want to take some home with you or if you are not finished.

This was our second visit, and it only confirmed what we already knew: this place is a true hidden gem. It is well worth the drive for anyone looking for an incredible meal and a beautiful drive to get there. The menu is exactly what you want it to be--focused, high-quality, and ideal for anyone who appreciates a great steakhouse with a Montana twist. We started with the steamer clams; they recently updated the broth, and it is phenomenal. My only "critique" is that it's served with two small pieces of bread when you really need at least six to soak up every drop of that new broth! Last year, the Prime Rib and medallions were incredible, but you have to branch out to see what this kitchen can really do. I went with the Bison Filet--perfectly cooked, generous portioning, and served over delicious mashed potatoes and broccolini. My wife had the Peppered Bison Tenderloin Linguini; the flavors were layers deep and the portion was so filling that she actually had a great lunch to bring home. Our server, Jubal, was the highlight of the evening, honestly can't say enough good things about him. He was knowledgeable, professional, and possessed an impressive amount of patience. We watched him spend 15 minutes gracefully explaining everything from wine vintages to basic steak temperatures to a very demanding table nearby. He handled it with total class and never missed a beat with our own service. We certainly won't be waiting another year to return. If you haven't made the trip out here yet, you are missing out on one of the best dining experiences in the state.

I have had 3 different entrees, just to try new things, but by far the best meal was the Peppered Bison Tenderloin Linguini was the best. I mean, it was perfection. The first time I ate, my companion ordered it. It was so good that I ordered it the next time, and then we recommended it to our friend the third time. Each time it was ordered the plate was clean at the end of the meal--and it was an ample serving. I also had the Wild Game Meatloaf (great) and Beef Tenderloins Medallions (also very good). The carpaccio (bison!) is great but pretty meager as far as the amount they give you. You'll not be able to share with more than one other person. Calamari was also good. Service was fantastic each time. I can't think of anything negative to say about this restaurant, even if it were in an urban area with many other choices. Needless to say, that is not the case here, and to find this gem in the middle of nowhere was a surprise indeed. Go! And bring your swimsuit so you can enjoy the hot springs after dinner. I promise you it will be a highlight of your trip!
