He was very communicative--even with the 13 hour time difference, I was able to coordinate with him easily. I had my husband be taken out of the house three hours before the party to set up... the balloon arch was delivered right on time. The photographer showed up half an hour earlier than the party. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! Really, what a great experience. My husband had a really great time. Thank you Mark and company!

We emailed the owner to ask for a refund or a free re-do, either, but they didn't reply to us. We followed up 3 times at least. Just to give it another shot because the hair stylist was nice, but terrible at the job clearly. We thought maybe it was a bad day or something and we could try again. But they didn't even acknowledge :( We asked a friend who's also gone here, they said they had a similar bad experience.

I was referred to Just 4 Kids while out to dinner with my family. I complimented a lady's beautiful haired baby and the conversation switched to my daughter's soon first birthday haircut. Followed by the referral. I thanked her and booked an appointment the next day... no research done. SHAME ON ME. We walked in with a beautiful angel haired baby girl and left with a one year old that received a haircut which resembled a haircut of a boy from an indigenous tribe of South America. A haircut done with a machete instead of professional scissors. Decor is kid friendly, staff is accommodating, services rendered are totally unsatisfactory even for pets. Local dog groomer would've done a better job on my baby girl. I watched as the "Master Stylist" (misleading title) chopped up my daughter's hair while struggling to manipulate scissors with hands that resembled the character "Edward Scissor Hand", due to the 4" nails on every one of her fingers. I didn't dare stop the destruction after the first 5 ill decided cuts because the damage was done. My heart hurt for my baby girl and my expectations were crushed. My wife was disgruntled, my mother in-law was saddened and disappointed, my teen daughter stopped talking to us all the way back home. I felt like I let my family down. We planned on celebrating by having lunch afterwards but we all lost our appetite. We went straight home hoping our baby girls hair grows out quickly. Don't ever do this to your child. Don't ever do this to yourself. Don't ever do this... I am bothered that I have to place even 1 star on this review. I really don't like writing negative reviews but this one was EXTREMELY WARRANTED. I am hurt by what took place and the disappointment I caused my family. A first haircut is a once in a lifetime experience and mine was destroyed and I don't get to do it again. I am not posting pictures due to pure embarrassment of this occurrence. Please choose wisely.

I can't say enough good things about working with Jen and ICE Events as our day of wedding…read morecoordinator. I enlisted Jen's services because we had many different moving parts for our wedding day. Jen went above and beyond to ensure that we stayed on schedule and that all of the events ran smoothly on the day of our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, Jen leveraged her experience planning large scale corporate event to help set the schedule for our wedding day. Jen was instrumental in coordinating the timing and transportation from the hotel, to the ceremony and finally to the reception. On our wedding day Jen served as the point of contact for our vendors including the florist, photographer, hair stylist and makeup artist, among others. As the bride it was so nice to put away my phone and enjoy my wedding day as each event unfolded. Jen arrived early and helped out behind the scenes from distributing tips and payments to the hair stylist and makeup artist in the bridal suite to making sure lunch arrived on time and that our bridal party was fed before we left for the ceremony. Once the reception began she worked seamlessly with the Maître D at the Maritime Parc. Jen was especially helpful in keeping our bridal party of 20 adults and 2 children organized, so everyone knew where they had to be at different times during the day. Jen is very professional and an all-around lovely person, she got the job done without having to be bossy. I would highly recommend working with Jen and ICE Events for a stress free wedding day.

Sitting up close to the kitchen, we got to see them cook and plate their appetizers, entree and desserts dishes from scratch, incorporating the ingredients that were given to them. Throughout the cooking, we also interacted with the chefs, asking them about the dishes, and also getting some samples of the dishes before they were served. We arrived for Sunday dinner reservation right on time. It was small space with about 20 spots. BYOB place, no cork fee. Half of the seat were around the kitchen. There was a scoring sheet for each guest with names of both chefs, the ingredients of the day and the rules. The chefs got 45 minutes for preparing their appetizers, 35 minutes for entree and 20 minutes for desserts. It was impressive to see both chefs were precise with their timing. The dishes prepared by both chefs were so masterful, had intricacy of combining the ingredients and coming up with some sumptuous flavors. Salmon and steaks were cooked perfectly. It was extremely difficult to score the chefs on barest of margins and pick a winner. But per the rules I did pick Chef Ryan Beegel over Chef Alexis Sicklick. The host was also super nice and funny. She did a super job of explaining all aspects of the dinner, cleaning out plates after each round and serving all the drinks. Truly it was one of a kind TV Show like experience for us.
