My experience was for warranty service. My experience was excellent. I was expecting a hassle but didn't experience one.

I purchased an oxygen concentrator, exchanged it within the exchange period, and returned them within the window as well because they were not providing a strong flow of oxygen. They kept over $1000 and are refusing to refund me my money. They do not answer any of my calls, and I have left numerous messages. They overcharged us and would not bill Medicare. Our unit had a defective battery and they will be replacing it but charged my husband an additional $400 for a longer life battery that he doesn't need. They refused to just send a replacement battery and the unit is under warranty. They are crooks. read more

This company lied to me. I purchased an Inogen One G4 in July and the entire machime has stopped working. Both batteries were faulty when I received them. At that time they were only lasting 70 minutes. I am under their "white glove warranty," so Ive called several times to try and seek their assistance; only to be transferred to a call center that takes my name, phone number, and model #; but no one EVER HAS CALLED ME BACK!!! I SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND I ONLY GOT TO USE MY MACHINE 7 TIMES, BEFORE IT FAILED ON ME!!!!!!! To date no one has offered me any help and ivs called so many times. Do you think you'll be different? This is so upsetting to feel scammed and taken advantage of. I actually broke down crying on the phone with the call center today. I feel so mislead. read more

In the old days - actually only a year or so ago - it was easy to access customer service. I might have to wait a minute or two but I'd be connected to Amy or Nick would take care of the issue. Now a self-admitted robot answers the call but cannot understand the term "oxygen concentrator" who then says I can leave a message and connects me to a person who is really nice but no more technically capable than the inept robot. She transcribes my message for someone to see "in the next 24 business hours" in her words. That's up to three calendar days . Then a day or two later someone calls me, I order replacement columns for my concentrator, I confirm my home address, and lo and behold they ship them to my son's house where I had a shipment while out of town over a year ago. I realize this problem when it didn't arrive at my house Friday night as promised. I call and get an answering service no more capable than the original robot. Have been buying from OxiMedical for a decade but I'm looking somewhere else now. One could not have stayed awake all night and thought of away to more effectively destroy what used to be great customer service. So sad. What the heck happened to Amy?? read more

Buyers beware...these people are crooks. Everything is perfect, until you need customer service. We purchased an oxygen concentrator from them and my husband (who is having dementia issues) mistakenly order 2 more batteries. ($1200) This concentrator is not sufficient for his condition and the pulmonologist recommended to use oxygen tanks. I immediately called to request an authorization to return these so expensive batteries but no one seems to care. They ignore phone calls, emails...they just take your information and tell you someone will call you back but they never do. They are dishonest and a disgrace to this country. Besides this review, I'm planning on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Everyone should do the same. read more

I've bought from Oximedical before, taking the Inogen One G5 which I loved, so I didn't think twice about going back when I needed a home concentrator. He sent me a used inogen machine, 2 used batteries and a used carry bag but price was new,, I notified Gordon Moore right away and I was ignored and even hung up on when I called him,, ignored emails as well, very poor customer service. THEIFS that target elderly and or oxigen patients and SCAM THEM! F- OXIMEDICAL WONT MAKE GOOD ON THEIR WARRANTY. THEY TOOK MONEY FOR REPAIRS THEY DIDNT DO. THEY HAVE LEFT ME WITH AN UNUSABLE MACHINE AND NO OXYGEN! BEWARE THIS COMANY!!! THEY IGNORE CALLS AND LETTERS. After sending my G5 Portable oxygen machine to OXIMEDICAL for repair they charged me $144 for replacing the filter columns plus $100 for a loaner. (instead of the free loaner they promised me when I bought it.) However they never did replace the filter, and the charger was never repaired either (under warranty). It doesn't charge and still sounds like a dying cow.The whole machine is unusable. The warning lights flashing and the beeping should have been a clue for them. It went out for repair on 10/16/24, 12 weeks ago. They sent it back to me 3+ weeks later, still broken. Today is 1/7/25, 12 weeks since I first sent it to them and 9 weeks since I got it back unrepaired. I keep asking them over and over to Fix it. They ignore me. I'm a single, 73 yr old woman with multiple health issues. I can't lift a big oxygen tank. I only go out to doctor offices, and I have to go soon. I'm afraid to go out without my oxygen. OXIMEDICAL IS A DISHONEST, DISGRACEFUL COMPANY WHO DOESN'T KEEP THEIR WORD OR STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK, WARRANTY OR NOT. They'll even take your money and do nothing. I have had the same issues as many people have written about. I have a unit that is supposed to have a lifetime warranty, however, that doesn't include the columns or battery ect...so I guess it just covers the 'shell'. You have to send it in for the columns to be replaced. So last time they said they could send a refurbished one so mom didn't have to wait for the repair. The refurbished one didn't last long, or at least didn't have much usage before it failed. When I called,they said they'd send another refurbished unit but the columns were passed the warranty period so they said I'd have to pay $295 plus $80ish for shipping. I explained that the unit hadn't been used much because it was a back up unit, but they said I still had to pay for the columns in the new unit...wouldn't even cover some of the shipping. Then during our conversation I said the battery went from 100% to 0% in under 2 hours (when the battery lasts at least 5) and the machine said there was a technical failure. So when I sent it back, I left the battery on it because I didn't know if the battery was good or not. The one they sent, didn't have a battery. Ugh...I called again and they said they'd send a battery...maybe the one i sent in (that may or may not work) or one similar in age ect...(not sure) but I had to pay shipping. Again, they couldn't even waive that. She said that the invoice sent with the refurbished unit said to remove the battery before sending back and that she always says to remove items like canulas, batteries etc. I didn't register that because the battery dropped so fast that I wasn't sure if it was part of the problem or if the technical unit failure ruined the battery. I told her this and she said that battery is out of warranty (not part of the lifetime warranty). I feel they are scamish and unclear...they leave the impression that they don't care at all about the customer. read more

We traveled from Prescott to this Oxi Medical location, and it was TOTALLY worth the trip. My husband was prescribed round the clock oxygen, and dragging a cart with an O2 tank was cumbersome and necessitated carrying extra tanks when out. Leo was wonderful in putting my husband into a portable concentrator, and when the first choice didn't work out, he assisted us into switching to another. All the time, very professional but also understanding and empathetic. I cannot say enough about our positive experience, when purchasing an assistive device that we initially knew little about. read more

First, I am a new O2 user! OxiMedical is THE best place! I am a new O2 user was informed by my physician that I need O2 at night. I found out late Wednesday afternoon that I would need O2 on the plane for a flight back east at 5:30 AM on Friday. Had to cancel my original flight due to the 48 hour notice that the airline requires. Called OxiMedical in a panic yesterday. I need to mention Josh in this review because he was extremely helpful in locating and supplying me with my very own Eclipse 5 that I am going to receive today for my rescheduled flight tomorrow! The customer service is terrible and unacceptable! Sent a concentrator back for repair after only owning for 8 months and I had to pay the shipping fees. Had an issue with my wife's machine. Leo was very helpful. Opened up the machine to see if he could fix it. It was not fixable. He can up with an alternative at no cost to us! I am currently waiting for my concentrator to be fixed. I have a loaner in the mean time. The first time I sent in to be fixed it came back still not working properly. I had to send it back the next day I had to pay to ship it back via UPS. It's been over a month and I have not heard from anyone. I called about a week ago and I was told the tech guy (Leo) will get back to me. I'm still waiting. I would not recommend this company! read more
