She no-call, no-showed on me several times, finally came, was rude, and spent less than 10 minutes cleaning the carpet. It didn't look clean so I asked for a redo. She again didn't show up, then rescheduled. When she finally came back she took one look at my carpet and said "that's not going to come out" and left. I called Stanley Steamer and they came and got the spot out immediately. My carpet now looks fantastic thanks to Stanley Steamer. I asked for a refund from Oxi Fresh but no one ever called me back. It's a franchise so calling the 1-800-number does nothing and they won't tell you how to contact the franchise directly. read more

They were a bit late, but texted me to apprise me of their arrival time. I was working on an empty rental property so wasn't impacted. I've used them before but they never worked as long and as hard as they did today. Last time, there was a single worker, he stayed for probably the same amount of time as the guys did today. Yes, there were 2 guys who showed up, each one running different machines. They put lights in all the rooms so they could better see. And I watched one employee spend a good amount of time on some stains that were in the entryway of the kitchen. In the end, the results were fantastic. The place smelled better, and it was much cleaner. Just an awesome job by these workers...and it takes a LOT to please me, believe me. GREAT for rental property owners. To be quite honest, I am shocked!!! I was just hung up on by Nicole. Nicole was not helpful at all. I called to see if it was possible to have a person come to our 16 room medical office. Nicole said our price is about $27.00 per square foot, then asked how many square feet was our office. I replied that I do not know and Thant is why I was calling to get an estimate. Nicole told me that the owner will decide if he will do an estimate at our practice. I responded to Nicole by saying : I chose OXI Carpet cleaning because they look like the do things differently but there are too many carpet cleaning businesses on Google that would give an estimate to a large health care practice. Nicole responded for me to call someone else and told me that she hopes I have a better day then hung up. Use this place if you want, But Nicole, the girl on the phone was one of the most rude people I've spoke to in a long time. To the business owner, keep in mind if Nicole is who you have answering your phone representing your business there could be many costumers that you might have missed because of Nicole. read more

Can't say enough about my experience. Elvis was our technician and he was very professional and on time. But the best part is that he did an excellent job with our carpet. It looked brand new when he was done. I must mention the scheduling staff. When I called to reschedule , they were very courteous and also helped me work through an issue with my coupon for the appointment. I highly recommend this carpet cleaning company. read more

Like the reviewer below stay AWAY from Adeel who apparently owns the DC operation. I waited all day Saturday and he called right before to say he would make it 3 hrs late at 830 pm...I have small children so NO. Then he rescheduled for end of day Wednesday, at which point he came in a said he couldn't clean the very rugs and couches that Oxifresh cleaned just last year. He reluctantly agreed to clean the couches, and then saw a regular Pottery Barn wool rug and said "oh this is a handmade rug, I can't do it." I had him escorted out at that point. I had never used a professional carpet cleaning service before. I got a number of quotes and ultimately went with OxiFresh Fairfax because of the competitive price. What I want to comment on the most is the professionalism of Alex, the carpet cleaner that came out to our place. Alex called and asked if he could come early. He was prompt, friendly and knowledgable. He came in and examined the carpet condition, and was honest with me about what he thought it was going to take to clean different stains (and which one in particular was probably not going to come out no matter what he or anybody else tried -- hot pink fabric dye). Afterwards we did a walkthrough to examine the results. I would work with Alex and Oxi Fresh again. read more

My carpets are clean, soft & plush! They were almost dry by the time the tech left & completely dry within 2 hours. I'm very happy with the result! However, there was a misquote of the price which was quite disappointing. When scheduling the service I clearly stated that I needed bedrooms & 2 sets of stairs cleaned, for some reason the scheduler quoted me a price for bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. He even asked me how many steps I had. I only discovered this once the tech was at my house. Of course, the price for the stairs & bedrooms was much higher. This particular Oxi Fresh (of DC) was incredibly professional. They called when they were on their way, showed up right on time, and was courteous and friendly. They brought their stain removal kit and worked diligently until they COMPLETELY REMOVED RED NAIL POLISH from my carpet! I couldn't believe it! All of the other typical stains were removed as well by the time he was done with the regular cleaning. The best part for me was how great he was with my 3 and 2 year old. They were fascinated with what he was doing and bombarded him with questions and he was gracious and kind with them, answering them all, and even seemed slightly amused (as opposed to annoyed) with them. I also had them come back and do my tile and grout in the kitchen, and it went from black to white again. I highly recommend this company! read more
