It was hard to choose which one was my favorite. I would definitely come back again. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was perfect because it was not busy surprisingly. Great place to buy gifts for the season or birthday. We had also visited the Koenig winery which was also fantastic with a great view.

The property itself is beautiful and well kept, making it a nice place to spend some time. The self-guided tour is quick but well done. While there's no docent walking you through, you're still able to see the setup and get a good feel for the distilling process at your own pace, which we enjoyed. The gift shop is impressive, with a wide variety of quality items, though it does lean a bit on the pricier side. That said, everything feels thoughtfully curated. They do offer some small snacks to order alongside your drinks, which is a nice touch if you want something light while tasting. As for the spirits, everything we tried was delicious. They offer some really solid bourbons and ryes. We also picked up some incredible Vermont maple syrup and honey made right on the grounds, which were standout additions. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommended!

And, very nice and surprising menu for such a remote location. Ok, the drive is not simple but the reward is worth it. Beautiful scenery and winery, especially at dusk. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dining room is open and spacious. The food was excellent! The spinach artichoke dip was scrumptious. Big portion with everyone in our party of 7 getting a serving. Everyone raved about their food. My risotto with chicken was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The waitress was excellent and really went out of her way to make our dinner a wonderful experience. And I almost forgot the wine!! Excellent choices and they were very tasty. The desserts looked incredible but we chose a jar of their sea salt chocolate toffee to go. Yum!!! This place is a hidden gem. Who cares if your car gets a bit dusty. You live in Idaho!!

We went for the food and the "adventure" of getting there. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was very good and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Getting there was half the fun. We recommend taking the route following Eagle Road north. While there is a fair amount of dirt road involved, it was more fun than taking 16 and going north. The ambiance was nice. We ate inside as it was a little chilly outside (although there were a number of patrons who did eat outside).

This of course doesn't mean I've sorted through my yelp drafts folder in a timely manner, but hey. We did about four stops on the Sunnyslope wine trail, and one oopsie stop at a winery that was closed. This was due to an error in our research, not theirs. Planning your trip can be done with help from Idaho Towncar, or you can spit out your itinerary for your driver to follow dutifully. Our complete stops included Ste. Chapelle, Koenig, Williamson, and Sawtooth, probably not in that order though. By the third stop I was having, as they say, a REALLY SWELL TIME. ;-) Our spacious and comfortable van had room for the six of us to spread out and enjoy ourselves for the duration of the afternoon. Complimentary snacks, sweets, wine glasses, beverages, and sparkling apple ciders were available for us to partake of, as well as the dreaded karaoke machine so that the older generation could embarrass the stuffing out of the youth along for the ride. I was somewhere in the middle of that and enjoyed it immensely. The professionalism and patience of our driver was much appreciated, as was his adaptability in putting up with our requests, and his fun, laidback personality. I would fully recommend this service if you're in the area and want a special experience. They have many vehicles to choose from, in various degrees of fancy schmancy, so if a luxury van isn't your speed, fret not.

He arranged a great set of three wineries (Kindred, Sawtooth and Koenig). The comfortable van rides, each wine tasting stop and the friendly interactions could not have been better. We arrived at Kindred just before noon and were first in line to order delicious pizzas from their wood fired oven. All three wineries offered a tasty array of different varietals for us to try. Then as a late afternoon bonus, we stopped at the Koenig distillery where a range of spirits are made. We are veteran wine lovers who have lived in Oregon and California. We were impressed to learn that Idaho now has a wonderful and growing wine making industry. It is well worth a visit and Ciao Bella is the way to make that visit in comfort and style with knowledgeable and friendly guidance every step of the way.
