This was my first time on a wine tour and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun day with friends or to celebrate something special! John was our guide and he was so knowledgeable, kind and patient. The vehicles are clean with snacks, water and music. Each winery was wonderful! Highly recommend booking with Snake River wine tours!

My husband and I had 3 friends from out of town visiting. Wondering what to do and all being wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts we decided to book this tour. The tour was a total of 6 plus hours and end up being a blast! We visited 4 wineries and our guide Tommy Smith was so nice, patient and knowledgeable. The air conditioned van was clean and comfortable. Tommy provided snacks and unlimited water. There was a total of 11 of us on the tour not including Tommy. At first we were a bit hesitant on having additional people with us on the tour - but all became best friends at the end of the tour. There were beautiful wines/wineries and scenery along the way. This is a must-do tour whether you're a resident or a visitor. This tour was so much fun and we're still talking about it.

Ray/Corbin was the freaking BEST! We had a few wine newbie's and he made sure to tell each winery our preferences and they all killed it.

Ray was freaking amazing! We had some wine newbies and he made sure to inform each winery and they were all AMAZING! Seriously it was the best. We can't wait to come back!! #Angelas35thgirlsweekend

A husband and wife team run this fabulous operation. Our group of 10 loaded up our shuttle on a late Friday morning about 11:00 with Samantha leading the way in her Mercedes Sprinter. The plan was to stop at four different Sunnyslope wineries; Scoria, Ste Chapelle, Koenig, and Fujishin. The itinerary was set and reservations were made at each stop, so of course we decided to be challenging and asked for an unscheduled stop at Hat Ranch. Samantha made it happen without any fuss. The ride out from Boise was comfortable and without issue. Even with several people that have "motion sickness" issues, the ride was without incident. The van was well stocked with water, snacks and pretty much everything we need including a sharpie to keep all of our purchases clearly identified. I got the feeling that Samantha has done this before. All of our stops were well organized and seamless. Even with the extra stop request we stayed on schedule and were back right on time. We had a wonderful day and I would highly recommend this outfit. Samantha and Corbin were great to spend time with and took great care of us.

Beautiful Idaho scenic tour with four wine tastings along the Sunnyslope AVA. Mercedes Sprinter van will take you from designated pickup areas (we did the Village in Meridian) with snacks and bottled water. Great experience, and a shoutout to Corbin who showed us a great time. Wineries rotate; however, we did visit four great locations: Scoria, Sawtooth, Hat, and Kerry Hills. All are great in their own unique way, but we particularly enjoyed Scoria and Kerry Hills.

This was our third annual private tour with this company. Impeccable service. Corbin always takes such good care of us. 13 of us came this year... picked us up from our ABB and tired us around in their super clean Sprinter. Jammed out to our favorite songs, heard just enough history of the valley to feel connected and wanting more. Each year we've requested different wineries, and each year they keep delivering. Their connections to the wineries offer so much insight and charm. Highly recommend. We'll be back again for sure.

My friend and I w the best hostess Sam

Not only is Sam the best hostess, but her tour is honestly the most fun day you'll have. Do not hesitate to gather a group and take a day to the wineries w Snake River Wine Tour.

This of course doesn't mean I've sorted through my yelp drafts folder in a timely manner, but hey. We did about four stops on the Sunnyslope wine trail, and one oopsie stop at a winery that was closed. This was due to an error in our research, not theirs. Planning your trip can be done with help from Idaho Towncar, or you can spit out your itinerary for your driver to follow dutifully. Our complete stops included Ste. Chapelle, Koenig, Williamson, and Sawtooth, probably not in that order though. By the third stop I was having, as they say, a REALLY SWELL TIME. ;-) Our spacious and comfortable van had room for the six of us to spread out and enjoy ourselves for the duration of the afternoon. Complimentary snacks, sweets, wine glasses, beverages, and sparkling apple ciders were available for us to partake of, as well as the dreaded karaoke machine so that the older generation could embarrass the stuffing out of the youth along for the ride. I was somewhere in the middle of that and enjoyed it immensely. The professionalism and patience of our driver was much appreciated, as was his adaptability in putting up with our requests, and his fun, laidback personality. I would fully recommend this service if you're in the area and want a special experience. They have many vehicles to choose from, in various degrees of fancy schmancy, so if a luxury van isn't your speed, fret not.

He arranged a great set of three wineries (Kindred, Sawtooth and Koenig). The comfortable van rides, each wine tasting stop and the friendly interactions could not have been better. We arrived at Kindred just before noon and were first in line to order delicious pizzas from their wood fired oven. All three wineries offered a tasty array of different varietals for us to try. We had the opportunity to take pictures throughout, the light displays in the neighborhood we drove around were beautiful and our driver Tim was very pleasant. We almost did a trolley Christmas lights tour but I think it's worth it to pay more and do this for the extra special touches and extra room- especially if you are plus sized like myself or extremely tall like my fiancé. There was definitely quite a bit of confusion at first on where to meet our driver. The email mentioned a sears parking lot at Boise Towne Square but there dosen't seem to be a Sears there so they may want to make some updates with the directions. I called Carolyn who told me that the meeting spot was a parking lot behind a hotel that is across from the mall and she stated to look for the classic convertible stating the driver already arrived there... well, we found the hotel lot she mentioned but the car was nowhere to be found so I called the driver whose number she gave us and he said he was on his way and would be there in 5 minutes ..so must have been some miscommunication on their end lol Aside from that though, it was a great experience and we would do it again!

You meet in the parking lot of the Red Lion Downtowner hotel. The woman at the front desk of the hotel cheerfully told us that the Trolley picks up at the front entrance. She was wrong, and I told a few people that drove up what the lady said. One, a man with a cane, then had to walk to the back of hotel after telling me that he was told to meet in the back. I told the driver, a nice ,older, white-haired man, and he made a comment but didn't seem too concerned. Then it started raining, and with the wind blowing, got pretty chilly. We brought jackets, but it was still cold. No one's fault. The driver has a laptop with a program that he plays, with narration that could have been AI generated, and photos. There are screens in front and midway in the seating area. The first part of the seating is covered on the sides with windows, the back part is open on the sides. There were flaps that could have been brought down to keep us warmer. I don't know why the driver didn't think of that. We sat in the very back, as the front was filling with seniors. Most of the tour was OK. There was commentary on historic buildings and parks, as well as 19th century homes. We stopped at the old Boise Train Depot, but it wasn't open today (only Sunday and Monday, I believe). We drove down Harrison Blvd, through Hyde Park, and past the Capitol building and Boise State University. When the tour was almost over, the driver seemed to be having trouble with his program. He pulled over to the side of the road and we all sat for at least 5, maybe 10 minutes, while he fiddled with his laptop. Finally, he gave up and everyone cheered. For the last 15 minutes, he narrated while we drove, which I'm told was good stuff, but his mic did not have enough volume for me to hear. So, I missed out on that. The tour ended up being about 2.5 hours, longer than I'd like on a chilly day. On top of the cost of the tickets, over $12 was added in "fees and taxes". For that kind of money, a witty, funny, and knowledgable guide should be doing the tour, entertaining the customers. I don't think that I would bring any more out of town guests on this tour.
