The scheduler said she sent the request to the driver too late the night before and he didn't see it until we called. Riding in style! My aunt rented what I would describe as a "luxury van" for our family on our nearly annual winter wine adventure this year, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. This of course doesn't mean I've sorted through my yelp drafts folder in a timely manner, but hey. We did about four stops on the Sunnyslope wine trail, and one oopsie stop at a winery that was closed. This was due to an error in our research, not theirs. Planning your trip can be done with help from Idaho Towncar, or you can spit out your itinerary for your driver to follow dutifully. Our complete stops included Ste. Chapelle, Koenig, Williamson, and Sawtooth, probably not in that order though. By the third stop I was having, as they say, a REALLY SWELL TIME. ;-) Our spacious and comfortable van had room for the six of us to spread out and enjoy ourselves for the duration of the afternoon. Complimentary snacks, sweets, wine glasses, beverages, and sparkling apple ciders were available for us to partake of, as well as the dreaded karaoke machine so that the older generation could embarrass the stuffing out of the youth along for the ride. I was somewhere in the middle of that and enjoyed it immensely. The professionalism and patience of our driver was much appreciated, as was his adaptability in putting up with our requests, and his fun, laidback personality. I would fully recommend this service if you're in the area and want a special experience. They have many vehicles to choose from, in various degrees of fancy schmancy, so if a luxury van isn't your speed, fret not. read more

ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We had this company booked months out as a getaway car for our wedding. After being a half an hour late we had multiple family members call to see if they were still on the way, with no response and waiting an extra half hour we had to borrow a family members car instead. I was at a nonpartisan peaceful demonstration on State Street behind the capitol building, with signs supporting equality, justice, black lives, and voting. A large Idaho Towncar van drove down the center of protest and flipped us off the entire time. One big aggressive middle finger. I guess Idaho Towncar doesn't support inclusivity, equality, or 1st Amendment rights of speech and assembly. Gross. read more

We had an absolute terrible experience with Idaho Town Car, and Aaron. We had booked the 1954 Rolls Royce to pick us up from our Wedding on August 1st. We had a confirmation email that the car would arrive at our venue at 9:00PM so guests could take pictures with the vehicle and check it out. 9:30PM rolls around and the car still isn't at the venue, and their is absolutely no one answering the phones. We called Aaron multiple times and were left to voicemail. Someone in our bridal party managed to scrounge up a number to call and finally get someone to answer in an annoyed manner, and we hear the car will be arriving at 10:00. Kind of a bummer but we were just glad it was still on the way. We had our wedding send off and the car wasn't there at 10:15. We heard the next day that the car showed up to the Venue at 11:00PM (2 hours late), drove around the entrance and then left. No one even came down to apologize or to ask if my wife and I were still there. The next morning we get a refund email with the note that the "car broke down/overheated" in transit. Why did the car show up at 11PM if it had broken down? Not once did we ever receive a call giving us a heads up to let us know of this made up breakdown. If you guys were going to arrive at 9:00PM you had more than enough time to send another car out to us. We were super excited to have such a cool send off and you guys made sure to make it a bad experience. We are making sure to let all of our other friends know to pick a more reliable company when it comes to transportation. read more

Idaho Towncar provides an amazing experience from start to finish. We had a somewhat complicated itinerary that they were absolutely willing to accommodate. Tarah was very helpful from the clerical side of things and Michael was en excellent driver and entertainer. We went with the Lincoln Navigator Stretch SUV and were blown away from the luxury they managed to incorporate into it. Will definitely think of Idaho Towncar first for future limo and chauffeur services. read more

I don't post very often but I always think when a company needs improving then they should want feedback. Everything started off ok with David who does the scheduling. He is clearly overwhelmed by the amount of juggling of the schedules he handles so I understand his challenges but when his drivers arrive late to every stop which effects the event of the people he is charged with providing a service for he should attempt to make changes to how he handles them. I believe any driver of a stretch limo should arrive looking professional not casual, but maybe that's just me. Lastly, when you're driver is running 30 mins late for the 2nd time in one night and you know the client isn't happy don't just ignore his phone calls because you know you promised something you couldn't deliver. I do want to specify this was for a prom and the kids had a very nice time and probably weren't effected nearly as much as the parents who were more aware of the schedules. read more

Great service! We booked the Sprinter van, but it was getting worked on so they gave us a better ride. Our driver was so nice and very accommodating. He was on time and made sure we were able to get to where we wanted to go in a timely manner. The car was perfect for our wine tour. It was very clean and made our time very memorable. The driver hit on my sister and tried to see if she was single through a message on my friends phone that was supposed to be used only to let us know where he was going to pick us up. We felt very uncomfortable and the entire situation was unprofessional for many reasons even before this specific situation. Will never recommend and will certainly never use this company again. read more

Booked the Coop stretch night before the event thank gosh it was not my wedding, they sent me an email, yes an email not a phone call but an email stating that the car was in for repairs. I get that, I understand repairs, but a email, and only 20% off on a Monday for another choice of cars really. When us the customers pick out specialty cars such as what they offer it is for a special reason a theme and an event that is very important to us, 20% is shit perhaps 30 to 45 but they would not negotiate such assholes, not the drivers the management. read more

We used this service for a Sunny Slope winery tour and birthday event during Mardi Gras weekend. The vehicle was clean and the driver was timely. Additionally, a few items (including car keys) were left in the back end of the vehicle and Mary Jo was sweet enough to drive all the way out to Marsing Sunday morning to return the items. If I could give Idaho Town Car zero stars, I would. I have heard that 50% of the vendors for your wedding will screw something up. No one could screw things up as much as Idaho Town Car did. At 9:35 AM MST on Friday November 11th, 2016, Idaho Town Car sent us an email (an email, not a phone call) letting us know that our reservation for the Black Mercedes Sprinter Van needed to be changed due to them double booking. Mind you, our wedding was scheduled for Saturday November 12th, 2016 at 2:00 PM so of course, slightly more than 24 hours was plenty of notice, right? WRONG. Idaho Town Car proposed a solution, let's put your wedding party into two different vehicles. That wasn't going to fly as we specifically reserved the Mercedes Sprinter to fit the entire wedding party, together. That said, they offered a small discount, and then another small discount, and then a bottle of champagne (which they offered back in October when they didn't respond to emails asking for an itinerary and cost estimate). We finally settled on a price that was 50% of what we were originally quoted when we made our initial reservation (this was after back and forth conversations and emails ALL DAY the day before our wedding). As we settled into the Escalade after our wedding, it became obvious that our party of 12 wasn't going to fit very well. The driver's solution, have someone sit in the front seat with him. Again, not a very good solution. I requested a face to face meeting with the manager or owner and never heard back. I asked for an apology from David who messed up the communication piece in October, never received one. I asked why our party had to change vehicles and not the other party - never received an answer. So in the end, we paid $217 for a few hours of rental in a vehicle we did not want and that didn't allow our bridal party to ride comfortably (one person sat on the floor, another on the bar). I reminded Idaho Town Car that good news travels fast and that bad news travels faster so with that, reviews will be shared on various review sites and I will not recommend my many friends and family members to use their services. read more

This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. We reserved a town car for a 60th wedding anniversary for our parents 2 and a half months ago. One week ago we were told that the car we reserved was unavailable. We were given another choice of car. It was nice as well. We were then called 4 days before this event is to take place and told that they had no cars for us at all. The customer service was to say the least POND SCUM. They acted like they didn't care at all that our plans were dashed. Not many people live to have a 60th wedding anniversary and siblings live out of town, so those of us that are local were trying to arrange something spectacular for our parent. My father is not well and this will probably be his last anniversary. He loves vintage cars and this would have been a highlight for him!!! Thanks a lot IDAHO TOWN CAR. YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
