There's so much shade from the trees that even a summer wedding, as long as it's in the evening, is totally doable. The bridal suite is massive which is awesome. There is no bathroom in it so that's slightly inconvenient but manageable.

This was a very hard and painful decision, but Mark was very understanding of the situation and easy to work with. The location itself is beautiful and perfect for a rustic fairytale wedding, and the way they treat their clients is just the icing on the cake. I'm so sad I won't get to have the experience that this place has to offer. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with people who are easy to work with, look no further!!

We chose to have prime rib carving station, turkey, mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies and a garden salad as our meal. The food was great! The beer was great! Kira was on top of drinks at the bar and taking care of us and everyone had a blast. I will say that scheduling this event was very difficult and challenging with the person who I had initial contact with. It would take days or even weeks to get a response, I never knew what was happening and was deeply concerned with how the event was going to turn out due to her lack of communication - but these 3 made up for it and our group had a blast. It would be awesome to see some fresh updates to the space, but this is a great venue nonetheless.

We…read morewere celebrating a three day weekend and a staycation and just really needed to get out of the house for a bit. I was very happy we went with anniversary in. The sultans palace featured to statue elephants in the room, a very large Jacuzzi tub for two, a waterfall shower, a TV with lots of movies to choose from, and a small picnic table for food, card games, and just hanging out. I was most excited about the Jacuzzi tub for two. It definitely heat it up quick, but it was very relaxing to feel the jets against the body after a long work week. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I always bring my own pillows when traveling via car, but the bed was super comfortable, and I was able to fall asleep with ease. The room was very clean, spacious, and inviting. Complementary breakfast was nice. They actually had some gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Was pleasantly surprised. Overall, one of the better themed hotel stays I've ever experienced. We'll definitely come back again.

We stayed at Anniversary Inn on Friday, May 15, 2026, for our 8th wedding anniversary. This was…read moresupposed to be a special remembrance stay for us because we also stayed here on our wedding night 8 years ago. My husband booked our room over a month in advance, and we reserved the Hollywood Suite, which was the room we had always wanted to stay in. A week before our stay, they called my husband and told him that room was no longer available, even though it had already been reserved for weeks. He requested another Diamond Suite, and they told him not to worry because the Marble Suite was available. We checked in at 4:00 PM. The room was much smaller than expected, and the wine my husband paid for and specifically requested was not in the room. The spa essentials were there, so we decided not to make a fuss at first. After dinner, we returned around 9:30 PM and tried to use the spa bathtub, which is one of the main reasons people stay at this hotel. The water was extremely hot, and when my husband tried to turn it down, the water would not shut off at all. The water became so dangerously hot that we quickly jumped out to avoid getting burned or injured because we had no way to stop it. We had to get out, get dressed, and call the front desk. Joann came to our room, and instead of trying to problem-solve or reassure us, she immediately said there were no rooms available and asked whether we planned to stay or leave. Rather than helping us find a solution, she seemed more focused on getting an answer from us than resolving the issue itself. From the moment she arrived, we felt like she was more than happy to see us leave instead of trying to save our anniversary experience or help make things right. We asked if the issue could be fixed first. Maintenance came, and after we waited in our car for about half an hour, the tub was still not properly fixed. The maintenance employee, Donny, was shocked that no one had tried to move us and confidently told us that we would absolutely receive a full refund because of the situation. He seemed certain that this was the obvious outcome. Later, when my husband spoke with Joann and referenced what Donny had said, she immediately shut it down and said he could not make those statements and should not have said that. It was incredibly frustrating to receive completely conflicting information from staff while already dealing with a ruined anniversary evening. We were then told the faucet had been stripped and that pliers could be left for us if we wanted to try using the tub ourselves. We did not feel comfortable with that at all. The whole reason we stayed there was for the themed room and spa tub experience, and that experience was completely ruined. We ended up checking out before midnight and driving 45 minutes home to Mountain Home. What made this even more frustrating was how everything was handled afterward. We were not offered any refund, partial refund, credit, or even another stay at a later date. Nothing. We were simply told that "a manager would contact us." There was no attempt to make things right, no empathy, and no effort to save our anniversary experience. The property itself also feels very neglected. The hallway carpets looked filthy and stained and honestly did not appear to have changed much since we stayed there 8 years ago. For $300-$400 a night, this is unacceptable. The staff overall seemed undertrained, overwhelmed, and not equipped to handle guest issues with even basic hospitality. This place could be amazing if the owners invested more into maintenance, staffing, and customer service. Unfortunately, our anniversary night was ruined, and my husband and I have decided we will never stay there again. For anyone considering spending this much money on a room here, think carefully. You are paying for an experience, and sadly this was nowhere close to one worth paying for.

The market runs every Tuesday from May 19 through September 29, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. I especially love coming here for the fresh fruits and veggies, locally handmade goods, and freshly baked bread. I'm also a huge fan of local honey and swear by its health benefits! Kingdom Sunrise Acres has a booth here, and I can honestly tell when I go without their honey because my allergies start acting up. I also love browsing all the cute shops and vendor booths. They make the entire experience feel like more than just a farmers market--it's a fun little Tuesday-night outing! There's plenty to enjoy beyond the market, too. Kindred on the Creek has an awesome happy hour and the cutest outdoor seating right along the Greenbelt. I enjoyed their Viognier, with its delicate aromas of honeysuckle and pear, along with their happy-hour charcuterie board--the perfect pairing for relaxing outside! The live music and bands give the whole area such a fun, lively energy, and there are outdoor fountains for the kids to run through. I also spotted a pizza place that I'd love to try while sitting outside at one of the picnic tables. And apparently, one of the nearby bars has $1 Jell-O shots! LOL--those might have to make it onto my Farm to Fork itinerary next time!

I had no idea how many lights they put up, and hadn't seen their new ice skating rink either. The downtown is just brimming with holiday cheer, colorful lights, and ice skating, even music. I guess I didn't fully understand the sheer volume of Christmas lights they put up, but it's enough that you have to walk all the way around and across the river to see it all! It's incredible, and they have some really cool "features" that I wasn't expecting to see. Such fun! It was raining when we went, but the combination of the people, places, lights, excitement, and the magic of all almost made the rain delightful. :) The whole experience brought me so much joy. I've been so stressed lately with all the holiday "stuff" that needs to be done that I forgot what the season was about. My visit to Indian Creek Plaza really brought things into focus for me...not just because of the lights, but because the lights serve as a reminder of the joy, the people, love, and time together is what really makes the holidays so special. Go visit. Take a friend, or your family, or both. Make an evening of it. Grab some coffee or a slice of pizza together, and explore the lights, the creek, and just enjoy each other's company.

The ambiance is subdued and not a Hemlock or Chandlers but I was comfortable taking service at the bar. The menu is not extensive but I have no doubt one can find a tasty option from the menu offerings. For this eve I chose the salmon entree and the meatball appetizer. I think the portions were generous and tasty. There is a restaurant in a hotel not too far from Iconic and their salmon portion pales in comparison. Again the salmon and veggie accompaniment were delicious. I also have to give a shout out to the seasoned fries. They aren't like McDonald's fries but they were crispy and very favorable. I would definitely order them again. I am definitely considering going back to try out the adult grilled cheese. The description sound enticing. All in all I'd recommend a visit to Iconic for dinner ( on days they aren't closed for a special event).
