Stayed here for a 3 day 2 night stay over Labor Day weekend with my husband, in a single king bed room. Cost was $580 to book, however we booked with 47,000 Chase points through the Chase portal. Pros: - They usually offer a free airport shuttle, but because it wasn't running, they actually reimbursed the cost of the uber we took from the airport to the hotel! - GREAT location: we didn't come with a rental car and didn't need one - it was walking distance or to a bunch of food places and bars, including Pie Hole, Yoi Tomo AYCE sushi, Western Proper, Boise Fry company, the art museum, the Basque street, you name it. Pretty much prime downtown location close to everything, and only like a less than 15 min ride to the airport - Ask for free tickets to the Boise Art Museum! $6 value each haha - GREAT sun-blocking curtains if you want to sleep in - Amazing selection of TV channels - Pretty comfortable bed - The shower had the best water pressure I've experienced at a hotel so far - We didn't utilize this benefit but they have complimentary bikes to borrow - All the staff were very professional. Cons: - Thankfully I didn't pay the full price for this hotel - but based on the amenities, it feels like it should have been in the $400 range for a 2 night stay, not $500. I definitely would not have stayed here if I had to pay the full $580. - NO complimentary breakfast options, not even like a grab and go donut kind of thing. There is a convenient cafe downstairs but you do have to pay. - Our fridge seemed like it didn't have a good seal, and wasn't keeping our takeout leftovers very cold. - No microwave in room, kind of inconvenient if you want to heat up leftovers. - Kind of markets itself as a one of a kind luxury boutique hotel, but I would say it was more average and just gets the job done (not a bad thing, but a little on the pricier side). Overall, 10/10 would stay here again if booked with points and didn't have a rental car. It does give you the convenience of being close to literally everything if you're a fan of walking. Things that could make it better would be breakfast, better room amenities. Overall a solid 4 stars.

Wondering why they call it 43. This cute boutique hotel is pretty much in the heart of downtown. Easy to get to places. Plenty of restaurant and bars. I heard the bar in the hotel is actually a classy club too. The lobby is super nice. Layout is very balanced. Couches and tables and cool pendulum chandeliers. Elevators are right there by the lobby as well, so you dont have to go through a maze to look for it. The rooms are pretty good. The one I got wasnt the biggest, bit it was enough. Its complete with lights, night stands even a sit down chair is you're feeling like doing some reading. A TV on top of a dresser. Cool feature on the window is that you're able to open a vent so you can let some fresh boise air in. I love the stuffed bear toy on the bed. Gives it a really cute touch. If you wanna take it home, it's around $35. My stay here was definitely enjoyable. I would come back and stay here again. Thank you much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!

Small lobby, awkward valet/pickup drop off area... not the impressed with the room myself... but my out of town guest loved his large windows & second story views. Convenient Boise location... would be good for JUMP events...

    mediocre.

disappointed in this hotel. came for a "stay-cation" with my hubby and when I booked this place I thought we were picking something special. it is a boutique hotel above the nicest restaurant in town (chandlers) so obviously it's going to be nice, right? um no. it's small, and you can tell it used to be yuck before they slapped some new paint on it and called it luxury. the staff were not friendly when we arrived (accept for the bell hop, he was friendly.) and they barely even looked up when we checked in. let me just say, if they try to give you room 208, 209, or 210- do not accept. we arrived in our TINY room (this is a king room?) to the lovely view of the AC units which are covered in weird paint and moss. i'm sure the hotel was not completely booked up (this is covid times) so these rooms should be a last resort situation for putting guests in when they are full. we booked this room A MONTH AGO. i'm not looking for the best room, but this was just weird to me. overall, our stay was disappointing. we should have just booked the grove. I think if you're traveling for work from the airport and want a centrally located place downtown with a good restaurant downstairs, this is the place for you. don't come here for romance.

Booked a room for one night, paid almost $500 for no bathtub or balcony, underwhelming decor, no swimming pool, not even a complimentary breakfast. We were denied a refund or upgrade. Should've come with free dinner from Chandler's for such a high price- take your business elsewhere, folks!

This is how the cleaning staff leave you towels.

To top it off, the lady working the front desk late Thursday night was super super nice. Great first impression of Boise based on that alone!

Rooms are basic, but clean and mostly well stocked. No conditioner in our shower. I retrieved a little bottle from my suitcase, but again, at $300 a night, housekeeping should be on top of that. My least favorite thing, breakfast. Blaah! I've generally stayed at Hilton garden inns where you get a real breakfast served to you. Sorry, but this breakfast was not great, in fact, just not good. I'm sure convenience is its appeal to business travelers, but if quality or taste are your things, just skip it. We walked down about 8:45 (it runs from 6-10) and the place looked like a hurricane had hit it. Self serve breakfast bars have their place but dedicate a staff member to keeping things stocked up, counters cleaned and overflowing trash receptacles emptied. $300 a night, just sayin!!! I'll again say that if you are attending an event downtown this is a very convenient place to stay. That's its appeal to us. And that is why it gets three stars instead of two on my overall value score

Full Disclosure This…read morereview is for the Winter Market being held at the Riverside Hotel The Winter Market was a lot fun with a lot of people. It was great to see such a turnout for small business Saturday. We were on a mission to meet Melt. We had missed the Melt team at the Capital City market a couple of weeks back. We wanted to try their croissants and pain au chocolats. We found Melt at the back of the banquet room with a line which is a great line. Upon first glance the croissant roll, pain au chocolat and croissants looked amazing. Prices were expensive in terms of actually being in Paris but less than what's been charging locally. We picked up a couple of croissants, pain au chocolats, and an Opera. The lady in line says to me, " wow you even know how to speak the language " I smiled nicely. The croissant is excellent and looking forward to finding them next week in Eagle. As for the Riverside. A lot of work has been done to make it look very nice. The restaurant inside as well as the interior decor was inviting. We truly enjoyed looking at all the local artists on the walls. Parking was full but we found a spot.

They partner with the chain, but have no signage stating Best Western until you get to the concierge. This would normally be fine, except that I drove around this hotel 3 times until I got tired, walked in and figured it out. Upon arrival, the lady at reception was nice. She greeted me fine and gave me these delicious hot chocolate chip cookies. The room itself was nice, but boy was it a challenge getting to it. Did I mention this hotel is large? It apparently only has 2 elevators and they are both very far away from our room. After what felt like an hour we finally found our room and relocated our car for the 3rd time. Overall, the hotel is nice, the location is nice, but the service is what killed me. For one we asked for a shower cap and it took them over an hour to bring one. I also asked for recommendations for things to do in Boise and the young lady had no idea. Her response was that she never leaves her home. I feel that if you work in a hotel, you should have some idea as to where people should see and dine at in your area. Overall, nice hotel. But service is lacking.
