Oh this place was phenomenal. The day before I arrived, I got a text confirming the days I would be staying here, and I was asked if I needed anything. The room, the front desk, the valet, everyone there made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel. They were on it! The location is excellent, you can walk to ... well you can walk anywhere ( zoo, Julia Davis park, Egyptian theater, Boise State University, a lot of eateries, a lot of bars, the capital, etc.) if you're looking for shopping it wouldn't be here. But everything else is right there! The room - well here are photos so you can see.

Inn at 500 is an epic place to stay. 5 star hospitality. Each room has a theme. While I'm sad to know that four University of Idaho students were slaughtered. The Idaho Vandals themed room is nicely done and a nice tribute to the university. Richard's the restaurant and bar at the hotel is a great place to belly up. I did not have food. The drinks were great and bartenders were amazing and extremely friendly. The hospitality here is five star. From the minute you pull up your are treated simply the best.

I wish we had more time to enjoy some more of the hotel. We got into town at 9:00pm and we were hungry and tired from driving all day from Reno, NV. And we needed to get up early and get on the road to beat the weather heading to Moscow. This hotel is a classy modern hotel. Accessible balconies and room service, although we were to late for that. In fact the only restaurant we could find open in Boise after 9:00pm, was Old Chicago Pizza out on the mall. The beds were extremely comfortable, and they have theme rooms with the King rooms on the 5th floor. Not sure if all the floors are like this, but I saw many other theme rooms in other reviews that leads me to believe each floor has something unique to offer. Our room was a film room, and it was dialed in lot Marilyn Monroe. It was pretty cool. Nice location right downtown. If we were in earlier, we could have walked to several restaurants right around the corner. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. Cheers!

We stayed for 2 nights here over a gorgeous sunny weekend in June (during Pride). Found the property randomly on Booking.com and was impressed by the Yelp reviews. We had a fantastic stay from start to finish and would totally return here in the future. We were on the 5th floor, standard King room (no balcony) overlooking downtown. We were able to see the Capitol building during the day, Pride fireworks at night, and the gorgeous morning sun hitting the rolling hills each day. Our room also had a fireplace and a little daybed by the window, which were extremely zen. Bed was luxuriously comfortable and the showers ran hot (which is awesome). The fancy half-door meant I got water all over the place, but it was all good. Hannah at the front desk is a rock star - she gave us great service every time we saw her, and we loved the free drinks at check-in (they give you tokens if you're not prepared to chug a beer on the spot). The hotel is right in front of Julia Davis Park + the Greenbelt (a must-do in Boise) and walking distance to everything else. Check out breweries in the area for good times. The Inn at 500 was a great base camp to a beautiful weekend in Boise, and made our stay infinitely better than it otherwise would have been. If you're looking for an obvious YES hotel, check them out!

My son recently moved to Boise for his job. My husband and I like to frequently visit. Since staying at the Inn At 500, we can't imagine staying anywhere else! This hotel is truly one of a kind. It combines traditional niceties with modern conveniences. You are always welcomed with a glass of wine. And all the staff we have encountered have been truly friendly and eager to make our stay perfect. Each room is uniquely decorated and they are so well done! The thought that goes into each room is really special. I always look forward to our next stay. (And they are pet friendly as we usually travel with our small dog)

Not every room is "special"... we stayed on the dog floor (floor 3) and there was no theme in the room. The room was nice though. I was told when I emailed the day prior that my room had a view of the capitol building however, it did not. It's too low to have that view. I had a view of the shell gas station and the gym at the hotel across the street at the Residence Inn. Pros: - free snacks in the lobby. We are talking water bottles, sodas, Cheetos, rice crispy treats, Doritos... it's a problem. -valets are quick -lots of grass around building for pets - great location in the heart of downtown -Keurig machine and fridge in room - balconies were nice to open for breeze - robes provided -dual sinks in bathroom Cons - you have to use your room key to turn on the lights and in the elevator - elevator often stunk of smoke - they have a butler door in the room for deliveries but they still knock on the room door and disturb you. Butler door also takes up a lot of storage (clothing) space in the room - on a busy main street so lots of noise - honking - weird curtains didn't block light for midday naps - not a lot of closet space ( how do people mange in winter with all their coats? - no bathtub just an awkward shower with no door- just a half glass wall. Very splashy. I thought it would be cooler but I did like it overall.

Very cool Boise St themed room

What is not to like about this really cool boutique hotel located right in central Boise Id...immediately walking in you can feel the cool vibe of this place. The front desk employees are super nice and probably some of the friendliest I have run across. They offer complimentary beer or wine when you check in plus as a guest unlimited water, soda and snacks from the downstairs station...each floor is themed with a different vibe and felt like mine was really cool as it was Boise State themed. It was a great room with plenty of space and really like the fact of the private balcony plus gas fire place. This fireplace was awesome and brought great warmth during my chilly stay...in addition had a chance to use their gym facility as well and was equally as nice as the other hotel amenities. I know the next time I am in Boise where I will be staying and recommend you do the same.

To top it off, the lady working the front desk late Thursday night was super super nice. Great first impression of Boise based on that alone!

Rooms are basic, but clean and mostly well stocked. No conditioner in our shower. I retrieved a little bottle from my suitcase, but again, at $300 a night, housekeeping should be on top of that. My least favorite thing, breakfast. Blaah! I've generally stayed at Hilton garden inns where you get a real breakfast served to you. Sorry, but this breakfast was not great, in fact, just not good. I'm sure convenience is its appeal to business travelers, but if quality or taste are your things, just skip it. We walked down about 8:45 (it runs from 6-10) and the place looked like a hurricane had hit it. Self serve breakfast bars have their place but dedicate a staff member to keeping things stocked up, counters cleaned and overflowing trash receptacles emptied. $300 a night, just sayin!!! I'll again say that if you are attending an event downtown this is a very convenient place to stay. That's its appeal to us. And that is why it gets three stars instead of two on my overall value score

I stayed in a one King, one bedroom room and it was perfect!! I had an extended stay, something not all hotels offer. Every single person on staff, was so nice. Yes, I'm pretty sure I met all of them including the amazing house cleaning staff. Speaking of house cleaning, I was blessed with the nicest, funniest house cleaner, Andy!! Not only did we joke, laugh, he also listened when I had a bad day. My room looked like I had just checked in after he cleaned it!! Henry, who is directly under assistant manager, is easy to work with, incredibly nice, always did his best to make sure that I was able to stay in the same room! (I didn't know how long I was going to stay. Sometimes I booked a week at a time, sometimes one day at a time) he enjoys getting to know his guest, he always loved checking up on me and we had some great conversation! I am positive you will love him. Sydney who works the front desk is so super sweet, we quickly became friends (friends in the Hotel sense) I got special hugs from her, along with Maddy!! (I am a hugger, I respect those who aren't, yet love getting them from those who are ) Maddie who I met when I stayed at the Hampton Inn for a little less than two weeks, surprised me when I opened upmy door at the Home2suites with starburst in her hands! she knew what I was going through and couldn't have gluten! Talk about getting to know your guest! The atmosphere there is like being welcomed into a family, which giving my circumstances, made my stay so much better!! Hannah and Morgan, who also worked the front desk, left a card for me at my door with a Hershey's chocolate bar yummm bar!! They wrote the sweetest words of encouragement, expressing the care about me, and letting me know they were only a phone call away! I realize this is a long review, but I can't end it without mentioning the kindness I received from the nighttime Auditor's! Marco was the very first person I met and because I arrived so late he still let me check in, treated me with such kindness. Kimberly!! You have to meet Kimberly if you're here for more than a couple days. If she is a person with a wealth of information and always willing to spend the time answering questions, I never even thought of. One night, I talked with her for two hours!! Okay, if I haven't convinced you how nice this hotel is yet let me add a few more things.I never heard the noise of the city life, and there is always something going on something fun, entertaining, etc. The whole hotel is so clean, It looks as if it has been remodeled!! The parking!! Yes, it does cost $20, yet it is worth every penny. The convenience of Parking right out the door of the sixth floor without to call and ask for your car or wait on it. I could leave things in my car, if I needed something, I'd Simply walk out the door that leads to the parking lot, grab what I needed walk right back in and into my room all in a matter of minutes!! The amenities!! I can't leave that out!! Full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker with coffee, bean coffee, was what I enjoyed every single morning. Plenty of counter space! Plus, another long counter space all the way to the wall!! That's not counting the work area! You will not lack for space that's for sure! burner for your request with pans to cook withall the way to the wall!! Free breakfast! To say it's a continental Is an understatement. I've seen Continental breakfasts' I usually pass on them.but this one had waffles, bagels, yes, even gluten-free ones, a build your own sandwich bar, sausage, bacon, you name it.
