Amazing service by a staff that are truly ambassadors for the brand and create an incredible atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and very inviting from the lobby to the rooms. Our room layout was wonderful and the room was loaded with amenities. It was quiet and easy to navigate. Location is central to downtown so it's really easy to walk to the nightlife after dinner. Rooftop was amazing and what a view. We also made reservations at the Supper Club and it too was incredible. Service was impeccable while not being overbearing. The food was amazing and very fairly priced. Cannot wait to go back and eat more off the menu. Overall, I cannot believe there is a better hotel to stay at in Boise. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a "staycation" at the Renegade.

One note is that we noticed our bill was not accurate after check out. We called and they said they would provide a refund that we are still waiting to see. Just make sure to double check your bill before you leave! Overall, great location, nice amenities, beautiful art and a nice place to stay. There was an issue with the "gift card" that came with the package we got and had an interesting interaction with a valet that was confusing and not helpful but the hotel is worth checking out!

Just what weary travelers look for when exhausted and in need of rest. Particular thanks to the afternoon staff Brighton and (I cannot remember the other young lady's name) they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home, even a call to the room after we had settled in to make sure it was what we had expected and if anything else could be done to make us feel comfortable. Issue we had was we had picked up some favorite vegan food from a local restaurant to enjoy on the patio since we've really enjoyed the communal patios at other updated motels. We check-in and are invited to the happy hour. Awesome! We hope to order a beer and enjoy our food when a woman comes over and says that the health department will not allow us to eat our own food on our own plates and cutlery on the patio and that they would be shut down if they allowed it. When we ask where we could eat, she directs us to the street or our room. Our room only had a single chair and a thin rail, no proper dining setup. The patio was empty save for 2 tables but they couldn't stand to share the patio with hotel guests. The place was otherwise nice but the treatment soured our experience. I strongly suspect the health department would take no issue with our enjoyment of the patio.

The room was LOUD. The "amazing" water filter (did you know they have filtered water? Here, have some. Want some more? There is no way they were unaware of this and nobody should be given a room that offers absolutely no chance of sleep. Customer service ignores you if you prefer to communicate via email. But they have filtered water! There are many better and less expensive options. They might not have a Water Man (it's filtered!) but at least you'll get some sleep.

We got a double queen room on the ground floor, facing the pool and it was great! My kids were able to walk right out into the courtyard and play giant chess and giant checkers. We also spent as much time as possible at the indoor pool. My kids LOVED the whirlpool and splash pad features. There was hardly anyone else there so it felt like we had the whole pool to ourselves. The staff was so great with my kids. We got warm chocolate chip cookies at check in, and the servers at breakfast were great about getting us situated with drinks, and our made to order omelets were delicious! I have never experienced a hotel breakfast buffet that was as extensive as The Riverside's! 10+ stars for their breakfast buffet alone. At one point during our stay, we were walking back to our room and noticed some broken glass at the bottom of a staircase. I called the front desk and immediately they had someone out there cleaning up the glass. I would highly recommend The Riverside to anyone looking for a staycation hotel, or if you have guests coming in from out of town. We will definitely be back!
