You could tell this was more of a commercial winery but a smaller owned mom and pop. It was more upscale than some of the other wineries in the area and you felt that from staff and some of the other people there. Staff was very overwhelmed and was annoyed we didn't have a reservation but there was plenty of room outside, which is where we chose to sit. Outside was absolutely beautiful with stunning views. This was the only winery on our wine tour we did not buy bottles from.

Koenig is a friend favorite in my group! We love it so much that my friend's bf proposed there. The staff were so easy to work with to get a reservation and accommodated our large party. The wine is impeccable, my favorite right now is the Rosé. Such a lovely and clean vineyard!

Obsessed with Koenig. Absolutely delightful wines, gorgeous atmosphere, and knowledgeable service. I'm a dry and dark wine fan myself but I was so impressed by the iced dessert wines. Favorite winery in the area!

What a great experience. Definitely two taste buds up from us. We were out for a drive and thought we'd see if we could find it. Admittedly, we didn't find it a couple of years ago when we tried - we didn't try that hard. This time, a little cell phone navigation took us right there and we're glad it dod. The good. The spirits, for sure! We each selected different liquors so we had six different flavors to sample. We found a couple that we loved and a couple that were definitely outside of our palates. The view. It's definitely winter, so the orchard was bare, but I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the spring, summer and fall. The atmosphere - this particular days was lightly traveled. A couple was leaving when we arrived, so we had the tasting room to ourselves for a short while. Being able to sit in a couple of comfy chairs and taste, and discuss...and taste and discuss was quite the joy. There are a variety of seating options - chairs, comfy chairs, a couch, a high top.

Loved this spot yesterday. Lisa helped us and our service was overall amazing especially considering we didn't have reservations. Service can be hit or miss most places on weekends but we were greeted and helped right away, sat immediately, and Lisa took great care of us. The wine was good, I preferred the reds and we got a grazing plate along with our tasting. Will definitely be back and consider the wine club next time we visit.

The young folks working there have the friendliest attitudes and the best work ethic, not something too commonly found these days. ReAnn was on point on this visit, she truly seemed to enjoy serving others. The food came out pretty fast and fresh, with my friend loving the patty melt and soup of the day Mushroom Brie. I ordered the scratch made chicken strips and fries and they were hot and fresh, but I must mention the strips are kind of small. Still delicious. Most of the decor is available to purchase with something for everyone. If in the area, you must stop in, even if it's just for a slice of one of their many homemade pies!

I was finally in the area and decided to stop for a late breakfast. I was the ONLY PERSON there and was stunned to discover that you wouldn't serve me breakfast because it was 11:05 a.m. I opted for the prime rib sandwich and was served a lackluster attempt at a sandwich. I would estimate about 2 ounces of meat at the most that was so incredibly dry, I could have used it for sandpaper. Then I had a 2 inch "slice" of pie with maybe a tablespoon of whipped cream. Dang guys, you have fallen so far. I miss the great place you used to be. You certainly aren't worth the drive anymore.

The property itself is beautiful and well kept, making it a nice place to spend some time. The self-guided tour is quick but well done. While there's no docent walking you through, you're still able to see the setup and get a good feel for the distilling process at your own pace, which we enjoyed. The gift shop is impressive, with a wide variety of quality items, though it does lean a bit on the pricier side. That said, everything feels thoughtfully curated. They do offer some small snacks to order alongside your drinks, which is a nice touch if you want something light while tasting. As for the spirits, everything we tried was delicious. They offer some really solid bourbons and ryes. We also picked up some incredible Vermont maple syrup and honey made right on the grounds, which were standout additions. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommended!

And with the view by the patio, how can it not be the most perfect setting to enjoy my birthday dinner. We just stuck with water since it was on the warmer side today. We just went straight in for dinner. As much as the appetizers sounded lovely, I was ready for the main event. So for dinner tonight I ordered the charboiled salmon with seasonal veggies in place of the salad. My salmon was plated beautifully with nice char marks on it. The veggies were a variety of squash and were sautéed nicely. And you can tell visually that they were seasoned nicely with spices and herbs. I dug right into my salmon. My first couple bites were delicious. I did spread some of the sun dried tomato butter on my salmon. The butter was fantastic! It added a nice flavor element to the salmon. After I ate about a a fourth of my salmon, I noticed that it was not cooked all the way through in the middle. With my new kidney, I can't have rare or undercooked fish. My immune system can't handle a parasite if the fish were to potentially contain any. I shouldn't have assumed that it was going to be cooked all the way since our server didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked. I did have to send it back and have another one remade. While my new fish was being prepared, my server gave me a small salad plate to transfer my veggies to. I got to work on them so I wasn't staring at my family eat. The veggies were cooked perfectly. They weren't overly soft or still raw. It had a nice bite to them while still being tender. Unfortunately, they were overly seasoned and was on the saltier side. I was hungry so I polished them off. But I did have to drink a good amount of water to help with the saltiness. Thank goodness the portion was on the daintier side. As hungry as I was, it would have been bad if it was a bigger portion. All that salt would not be good on my new kidney. My second round of salmon came out. Was it as pretty as my first plate, no but it will do. I'm sure they set the flame on high, let it sit on the grill for a while and then flipped it to cook the other side. I have cooked salmon well done plenty of times and have it come out tender. When you cook for a living, having cooking times for your dishes should be down to a science in your kitchen. Unfortunately, the salmon was super dry and flavorless. As hungry as I was, I ate it. The butter did help with the dryness of the salmon. But I shouldn't have to rely on butter to make the dish edible. For my birthday, I got a free dessert. I chose the gluten free carrot cake. My cousin eats a gluten free diet so I thought this cake would be perfect for all of us. I enjoyed the cake very much! The cake was moist. The spices in the cake were fragrant and very noticeable in each bite. I loved the frosting on the cake. Since the cake wasn't overly sweet, the frosting added a nice sweetness to it. I enjoyed the cake very much! Our server did a mid job. There were times when she would be gone for long periods of time and we had to wait for her. The patio was perfect with its stunning view. Dinner was ok but dessert was fabulous. Overall it was a decent experience. I do look forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor patio with my husband for a date night. I just know now to make sure I vocalize everything to my server so I don't end up with dry salmon again. I do want to come back and have a better experience.
