    WORLD MALBEC CELEBRATION

We love visiting the Huston Vineyards family--every visit is memorable. Their award‑winning wines, beautiful venue, and stunning new tasting room make each trip special, and the friendly team provides excellent, personalized service. We and our friends visit monthly (sometimes more often) and know anyone who joins the Huston Vineyards family will enjoy it as much as we do. Highly recommended.

We love this family run winery! The family and staff are amazing and the offer excellent customer service. Five stars for sure! We had the opportunity to attend the barrel tasting event this past weekend. What a great event. It was great to hear directly from the winemaker about the wines and the vision for the winery and future vintages. The barrel room was decorated for Christmas and was very festive and cozy. I enjoyed the wine pairing with our personal charcuterie box. We highly recommend our favorite winery on the Sunny Slope.

Great service, friendly staff. We brought a charcuterie board and enjoyed wine sampling. Their Rose Granache surprised me as I'm not typically a Rose person. Malbec was earthy with good pepper notes, as I prefer. Cab, Sarah, and Petite Syrah all hit the spot, even on a warm summer day! If I were local, I would consider a wine club membership!

We visited Huston Vineyards as part of a wine tour. Such a charming vineyard! The staff were super friendly and let us deter from the set tasting list so that we could try a few extras. I really enjoyed the Chicken Dinner Chardonnay! Great spot that I would visit again.

They sell both the Malbec and Cab in 3 L bottles.

This is one of my favorite Idaho wineries. It's a must stop anytime I'm in the area. Every staff member is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the wines. My favorites are their reds especially their Cab. Which is also why for my retirement I asked my BF to get me the 3L bottle the sell! What a fun party that would be. If you like good wine and a fun atmosphere definitely stop by Huston!!

You can't tell but he really enjoyed our tour.

Our first stop on the Snake River Winery tour. What a great way to start! Super welcoming and we loved every wine we tried from the Chicken Dinner & Huston labels. The Chicken Dinner White was my favorite! They set up a canopy outside & we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather & scenery. Cute little gift shop. We wound up signing up for the circle club. Definitely check this winery out!

Came to pick up more Chicken Dinner White... stayed for tastings

We stopped at Huston Vineyards with some of our friends who are wine club members. Both their Chicken Dinner White and Chicken Dinner Red are in my top list of local wines but I have never been to the tasting room. The tasting fee for sampling 5 wines was $5 and they wave the fee with a bottle purchase. Unfortunately the weather was off and on sprinkling so we did not get to enjoy the outside seating and the tasting room is very small with only one bench to sit on. We were able to pick up a couple bags (containing 2 bottles) of my favorite wine and my husband grabbed a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that we look forward to enjoying soon.

Incredible service and friendly staff. The adorable winery dog, Mourvèdre, was an added perk. Will be going back!

Nice place but still needs time to mature yet... Definitely one of the stops you need to make for a "Sunny Slope Day Trip"...

The staff were knowledgeable and fun. The wines were average, nothing really stood out. The wines were a bit young. Nice venue.

I am so sad, and know that I will be for quite a long time , so to ease the pain a bit and help me to stay busy and keep my mind off of losing her, my very beautiful friend decided we should go to Peaceful Belly Farm and relax, have some delicious food, be in nature and around positive people with a beautiful ambience. Of course Peaceful Belly delivered as always. We decided to have a gorgeous glass of Viogner, and thought it would be nice to split a few of the dishes to share. We started with the spinach dip bread bowl, with farm, fresh spinach mixed with a three cheese blend served in a Acme sourdough loaf. The dip was so yummy, creamy and heartwarming, and there were so many layers of flavor. It was just the right amount of salty and the texture was wonderful. It was served in an Acme sourdough loaf which is always delicious. They cut up the top portion of the bowl into small pieces so that we could easily dunk the bread into the dip. It was the perfect way to start the meal. I don't think there was much left of that when all was said and done. The second dish that we decided on together was the deviled eggs. They were beautiful, fresh, farm eggs that were nice and cold and the yolks were whipped beautifully with dill and garlic filling. Garnished on top of the eggs they served this insane, brown sugar, caramelized McIntyre bacon. There were some gorgeous, delicate, yellow, edible flower petals on top which took it over the top aesthetically. They were perfect. It was a serving of four and it was just enough for my friend and I. Last but not least, we had a dish made from homemade chorizo from the James Beard nominated Chef, Dan Ansot of Ansot's Basque restaurant in downtown Boise. It was phenomenal. Made with warm saffron stew that had carrots and sweet pepper, onion and garlic on a creamy polenta base topped with his Basque chorizo and grilling cheese (which is one of my favorite cheeses ever!) It was spicy and so complex. We really enjoyed this dish tremendously. Our server Kayla was wonderful. She checked up on us often, but not too often to make sure that we were enjoying everything and asked if we wanted more wine. The dishes came out in a timely manner and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The atmosphere is gorgeous set in an open space full of greenery and flowers and food growing all about the property, not to mention all of the gorgeous black and white sheep that are grazing peacefully around the restaurant outside. It was a perfect day with a perfect friend with perfect weather and really helped me to set aside the sadness I felt from losing my sweet little fur baby, even if just for a little while. The inside is impeccably clean and a bright open space with plenty of tables. They have a ton of gorgeous dry flowers from all over the property hanging gracefully from the ceiling and they always have fun artwork hanging on the walls. I will always return. They do a good thing for the community and they have a gorgeous space with beautiful food and people. Thank you for helping me through my grief. See you soon!
