It's right off Marine Drive and literally floats on the water a relaxed atmosphere , good drinks, casual food, and lots of friendly faces. It gets packed, especially on sunny weekends, but that's part of the energy. The drinks are strong, the seafood is decent (nothing gourmet, but hits the spot), and the view is unbeatable. You'll probably see a few smelly ducks drifting by only adds to the character. Now there is a bit of a downside. The ramp down is steep and a bit of a hike, especially on the way back up. But hey my good excuse for another drink of liquid refreshment.

Placed order off breakfast menu at 11:47, but was told, "Sorry, the kitchen already transitioned to the lunch menu. STRIKE ONE. At 12:22still waiting for food. We're told that the kitchen is "a bit behind." We're offered a bowl of chowder. We were under the impression this was complementary because of the delay. Nope, we later find we were charged. At 12:30, three two-tops that arrived after us were served starters. STRIKE TWO. At 11:44, our food arrived. Shrimp salad - lots of shrimp, but we have no silverware. I go to find a fork from kitchen. Halibut tacos.-- grilled, but bland and little to no seasoning. Teriyaki salmon tacos -- s are lemon is chopped to consistency of cat food and swimming in very wet teriyaki sauce, AND topped with MUCH mayo sauce. Can't even taste the salmon. Hands fun, the worst tacos I've had after 26 years in Oregon. STRIKE THREE. Also, they allow dogs on the deck. Tables are close on the water, so we were front toe for two large ones barking at each other throughout our meal. STRIKE FOUR. I'm giving one star because the server was pleasant. Otherwise, avoid this disorganized kitchen and amateur-hour pub fare at all costs.

Have this spent-grain roll, locally sourced cheese, farm raised ham, and lettuce, tomato, and onion that we grew on the roof topped with hand-pressed olive oil and spent-Pinot Noir vinegar. That'll be $25. Want to play some pinball? Pay this $3 cover and bring a bunch of quarters, load up a card that only works here, or pay a one-time fee of $23 to play as much as you want. Want to eat on a patio? Go to one of these tables we've wedged behind a dive bar or go into the lobby of this residential building/music venue, find the elevator and hope you counted the floors to that roof deck just right. I love Sit Tite because it's just fucking easy. It's open all week, it keeps the pinball up front and just takes quarters and bills, it gives me chicken parm when I want it, it has a good coffee cocktail when I have the money for it and $3 Rainier when I don't, and it basically has a giant dining room out back. Sit-Tite's menu could've warranted a full dining room, wait staff... the whole nine. But I'm glad there's one fucking place in this town where I can just put an order in, play some pinball, have above-bar-quality food waiting for me when I get back, and just enjoy a night outside. Yes, there are nights when the chicken parm's too much of a mess and I swing over to the hot Italian or fried mozzarella, but Sit Tite never tries to make my life worse by doing things "better."

The inside space is reminiscent of a standard dive bar. It reminds me of the old days when people could still smoke inside in Portland! I opted to sit in one of the outdoor alcoves and it was very cozy. The picnic table bench had been wired so that the seat was heated. The server was really kind and offered to turn on the fire feature that was located on top of the table. Despite it being very cold outside, it was plenty cozy. The server made a drink recommendation, and I indulged. Overall, I was really impressed by the elaborate thoughtfulness of the outdoor space and pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service that accompanied my visit.

They had 2 screens with sports. I do subtract a star for the seats. Seats are expensive and a business needs a lot. They standardized on some industrial metal ones with no backs, stools, high and low. Even the window seats don't really have much to lean back against. Mayfly is a neighborhood spot, a block from Kenton's main street with a great neighborhood community, a large variety of drinks, to-go, and food popups. It's on the MAX light rail too.
