Wow I will be back for sure. I got a blueberry Okinawa oatmilk latte and it was just fabulous!! So excited to find this place

I love coming here for a work from home day or in a girly mood!! The interior is so cute. Everything is pink with disco balls and neon signs as decorations. I've tried the chai latte and vanilla latte. Their drinks are always great! Service is friendly and quick too! It's a bit of a smaller cafe so seating can be limited.

This is a great neighborhood coffee spot. The drinks are unique and flavorful and the bakery items are delicious. I love their seasonal menus. Obviously, I can't leave a review without mentioning how gorgeous the interior of the shop is. The decor is pink! It feels so friendly and fun - and it is! I have met the owner a few times and he is very kind. The same goes for any employee I have encountered while visiting there. Overall, stop in for a coffee and a treat and you'll see for yourself how great Bae Coffee is!

Bae Coffee is the instagrammable cafe that I've been looking for! Everything is pink from top to bottom, down to a pink, disco ball covered Christmas tree in the window. Bae Coffee is teeny tiny, so it isn't a great place to camp out and work, but it was great for quickly catching up with a friend. We ordered a dirty chai, a maple latte, an almond croissant, and a ham and cheese croissant - all amazing! Pricing is a little high for my taste, but on par with other cafes in the area. Service was great. The owner was very welcoming and super funny. He did a great job of making us feel at home. I'll definitely be back to live out all of my Barbie-esque coffee shop dreams!

Fantastic service and beautiful interior! It's a bit small inside with limited seating but there's additional seating outdoors. Prices are comparable with other coffee shops in the area. I liked my latte, it was fresh and the flavors were nice. I'd rate it 3.5/5.

Best coffee in town! The oat milk latte with a shot of vanilla is the best! Devon makes the best coffee ever. Check it out!

This place definitely took me by surprise. I wanted to try a new coffee shop in the area and after seeing a few good reviews decided to pick this one. I tried the blueberry Okinawa oat latte and it was crazy delicious. Not too overpowering with the blueberry and not overtly sweet. Such a well crafted drink. The inside decor is cute as well, girly and millennial pink everywhere. Would love to come back and try some of their other lattes with homemade syrups

Stopped by bae coffee after my bridal shower and wasn't disappointed. I got a caramel latte which is usually my go to for coffee and it was just the perfect pick me up that I needed to get through the rest of the day. Definitely want to go back again!

The aesthetics are so pretty with a pink theme in the interior. A great small space to hang out and chat or grab coffee to go. They do have a rule that restricts laptops and tablets on the weekends. I got the rose vanilla latte and it had a really strong rose flavor to it which I really like. I would recommend coming by and checking it out if you're in the area!

This is the CUTEST all pink coffee shop in Chicago! I just discovered Bae Coffee and I am OBSESSED! We came to check it out this past weekend and everything from the decor to the deliciously creative lattes and friendly staff was top tier. Our favorite drink was the pink cadillac- their house mocha with whipped creamer and freeze dried strawberries - soooo good!

Came in this cute boutique cafe for an afternoon pick me up and left with an absolute divine latte! If you have seen this shop before, then you know they have a fun aesthetic with many shades of pink, velvety seating, and neon lights. I tried their iced wildflower tea latte, and it was phenomenal. Not only was the flavor delicious, but the detailing was beautiful. The latte was topped with glittery flower petals. My only complaint? Their hours are not great. "7ish" opening on weekdays and "8ish" opening on weekends. As an early riser, it's hard to find a good time to visit. Otherwise, I'll plan on coming back!

Bae was really cute inside but the service was rushed and somewhat unfriendly. I had an iced coffee, which was tasty but quite pricey. They don't have any artificial sweeteners. The shop is really girly and pink with a handful of tables. It may not be the best place to try to work because of the small size.

Really enjoyed this place. There has always been a great number of excellent cafes and coffee shops in the Lakeview neighborhood. Some stay, while others don't. It's good to see that even in these uncertain COVID times people choose to make a go of it and new places open. I've been around a while. Strolling down Broadway the other day this place jumped out at me. Super colorful, inviting and warm especially on a cold, snowy winter day. Bae is a husband and wife venture born from the pandemic. There are some great things that came out of this past few difficult years and the folks at Bae remind us of that. Bae is a cut above and what I consider a Coffee House as opposed to shop. A house being a place much like a public house that excels at what they offer and you meet your neighbors to chat and say hello. A true neighborhood place. The kind of place my ma who lived for decades just around the corner would have called her home. I was fortunate to meet one of the owners when I stopped in. He explained their story and how the coffee he makes is special. It was special. truly a great cup for coffee made slow drip to order. Now i'm no expert on how to make it but I know a bit about drinking it and what is a great cup of coffee and Bae hit the mark . I haven't yet tried their food offerings but plan that this next day or two. But it all starts with some great coffee. Their choice of cup they use for their coffee is exceptional. It is quality and class. Thickly made making it easy to hold a very hot cup of coffee, it can't be cheap and makes the coffee that much more worth it. You can go to big chain coffee shops, which I do at times, and get much less quality for a far greater price. I loved that he inquired about our vaccination cards. that means, unlike too many, they actually care about themselves and others walking through their doors. The decor is classic and bright. Like I said, inviting. I like that they left the old school building ceiling in tact. It gives it a neighborhood feel. though not a huge place I can see some great meet and greets happening here in my near future and hope they can get themselves a small sidewalk cafe when the weather permits. I definitely know that i will be back at Bae and hope the neighborhood folks do now and will continue to support a true welcoming neighborhood spot.

Great coffee and a lot of RULES. No bathroom, no tablets, no seating before you order. It's weird. Too much coffee perhaps?

It is so tempting to open them and start smelling, only the signs very nicely ask you not to. Wanting a break from dime-store coffee and tea (Folgers - no hate, it has a place), I decided to get something a little less "meh". Added bonus is that I am able to support a family business, as opposed to the Walton family and their associated shareholders. The staff at The Coffee & Tea Exchange was wonderful! They helped me select three different coffees to take home, speaking to the roasts and what makes them unique. I'd also like to award some bonus points for just the right grind of coffee for my reusable Keurig pods. My amazement does not stop at coffee, either - this also applies to teas. I went home with a few varieties of some of the more flavorful loose-leaf teas I've had! The kicker? The prices were very reasonable! True, it is not as cheap as a large can of Red or Blue coffee from the grocer's, but at the same time, not as expensive as something a corporation (maybe with a two-tailed siren??) has convinced you comes from a magical place called Seattle. Final verdict: My freshman year roommate had 4 open tubes of toothpaste because "variety is the spice of life." I have one tube of toothpaste, but coming up on a dozen different coffees and teas in my cabinet. Once I start running low, The Coffee & Tea Exchange is the first place I'll go to restock.

One thing I didn't love: my cappuccino was served in a Styrofoam cup while we were staying there. If you're drinking in, it really should come on a ceramic cup and saucer. Save the Styrofoam for takeout! The best part was that we stayed for a couple of hours and no one hovered over us, or made us feel like we had to leave. As for the coffee itself, it was just okay. Not bad, but not memorable either. That's a shame too, because the space is so comfy. Still, there are plenty of other coffee spots on the North Side - and this just gives me a reason to explore others in the neighborhood.
