I was in the area and actually saw this place from the highway. It's a very unique concept where you self pour all of your drinks! There are wine and beer options on tap. You simply get a card and scan it on the tap you would like to drink. There were all sorts of options to try and some snacks that were available for purchase but not a full menu. The space is very modern and nicely laid out with a rooftop area. On the weekends, they have music as well! I had to knock this place down a few stars because the rooftop is nice, but it overlooks the highway which isn't the most beautiful. The drinks were also very expensive! A small pour just for a tasting could be a few bucks, which really adds up after a few drinks. Definitely a cool place to hang, but couldn't be my frequent stop at the prices they have!

It is cool spot to chill, only when the weather is cool. Plenty of wine and beer on tap for everybody. Summer time it is kinda uncomfortable with the open concept and rooftop is pretty hot. Beer get warm quick. What to look at on the rooftop, nothing. I-77 or the parking lot.

We have been wanting to visit Overflow for a while now, every since I saw the coming soon signage from the highway. Finally made it in today and it did not disappoint. The ambience is amazing, the space is gorgeous - and huge! There's a good sized patio downstairs and a rooftop with more seating and taps. There's blankets, heaters and fire pits on the rooftop too! Once you check in you're given a card that you use to self pour the beer and wine, which is dispensed by the ounce. They have 40+ taps and lots of local beers - IPAs stouts, wheats, etc. I found something I liked just as we were about to leave and it's definitely something I'd return for. The space itself is huge. This is the prefect spot for a date night, girls night, party/celebration or it would be cool to rent out for a private event. We visited I during the week but I hear it gets really packed on the weekends and they typically have live music and food trucks on the weekend too. I can't wait to come back with friends.

I'm rating this place 3 stars because of the new policy change to not allow humans under the age of 16 years old. I came to town from AZ and lived in Cornelius growing up- the rest of my family still lives in NC. I am here for 3 days and we used Overflow as a mid-day meeting place (1:30pm) to meet one of our friends who lives in Denver. We were rejected by this place because we had my nephew who is 8 months with us. He is the most easy going baby you would ever meet. But this place changed their rules on Tuesday to discontinue allowing adults to bring anyone under the age of 16 here. There were 4 adults and 2 of them had to leave because of this policy. Driving from exit 23 in Huntersville to check out overflow was a waste of time & money. The excuses the owner gave about not allowing babies were silly. She said children were up their artificial turf and running around. My nephew can't even walk and it was almost his nap time. Maybe consider allowing children under 1 too who can't destroy anything. I think if you turn people away for having a baby they should have their beverage during their next visit compensated for by the establishment for the inconvenience but all I got was a poor excuse that the most well behaved baby couldn't stay. I was in town for 3 days and while the owner said they have kids day- it isn't feasible for people visiting from out of state. The decorations at this place were very nice and had clean bathrooms. The sink of the rig hand side in the women's room has no water pressure and took a while to rinse the soap off because it was trickling out. The upstairs is great- we were the only ones on the roof for about 30 minutes and I don't see why we couldn't have had a baby with us sleeping. But very nice with fire pits and heaters and view of the lake. It's also nice that they have additional taps upstairs too. I got a latte and learned you don't even need their card to get coffee, you just use your personal credit card at the coffee station.

Lots of things to come here with a rooftop bar in the next few weeks... the only FYI is that their website said it was all there to experience but it isn't just yet... like the hosts didn't know about the app but the site mentions it, the coffee bar wasn't operating and the rooftop wasn't open. So just be sure to check before you come if you are keen on experiencing these things. This is a great space to unwind and try local and non local beer, wine, and you can even make a mimosa because they have OJ. You get set up with a OverFlow card when you enter- that lets you pour your own drinks! Each time you get a new drink, get a new glass. Simply put! When you're all done, drop your card in the tip jar amount you want before leaving OR close out at the front with a worker.. They have snack available for purchase too. Lots of spots to choose from, inside and out, and many games!!! I'm excited to visit again and go up a level ;) Regarding the app, my hubby researched that it will save your favs and so when you return you could get recs based on what you like- but when we went they didn't know anything about the app at the front so maybe they're not going to use it yet- All in all- a really great local spot that's clean, inviting, and fun! I chose 4 stars for the whole tip situation and the missing parts to the experience that the site boasts- I think that If I'm doing all the pouring etc, that a solid tip is nice of course but I don't think should be expected - that's just coming from a teachers point of view - anyway, I'd definitely go back! You can just opt out of a tip or change it to something different when you close out at the front instead of dropping your card in the tip jar.

Pour your own beer, wine, seltzer, coffee or have a bartender craft a cocktail - this place is a chill "choose your own adventure" spot off I-77 at Langtree in Mooresville. Relax on the rooftop lounge (for 21+) or if you're 16 or older, hang out downstairs - there are games, live music stage, and food trucks often parked outside. Give them a follow on IG or other socials to see the schedule on who is playing when and what trucks are available. My favorite spot was downstairs on the leather sofa looking at Lake Norman! You also have the option to bring your own food from restaurants or home. We got Nasim's Kebab which is walking distance from Overflow and I've reviewed on Yelp as well - it's delicious! Check out my review for what to order if you're not familiar with Arabic food. Nicole is a rockstar at the front desk & I felt like she was my personal concierge to show me the ropes and explain how the systems work as you only pay for what you pour. Using the card system they have in place is simple and fun. Overall, I had a great experience and definitely will be back with a group of friends.

Great place conveniently located

Overtlow is a unique stop if you're looking to catch up with friends and have a multitude of beer and wine selections! Cocktails are wonderful too. Sometimes live music and food trucks. You're also able to order food to overflow. Upstairs is open with fire pits. staff is always friendly and accommodating. One negative is the highway noise but not enough to derail an evening.

If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would. I've seen it from I77 quite a few times and yesterday, finally had the chance to try it when I met some girlfriends there. It was so disappointing. First of all, the hosts are completely disengaged to the point of almost being rude. It's a niche concept but there's no welcome spiel to explain how anything works, not even the card. They just charge you, slap the card in your hand, and keep it moving. So, of course, the first time I tap the card then try to pour, it doesn't work. I figure out that I have to keep the card on the sensor while pouring which leads me to totally over pour my wine and get charged over $17. Unfortunately, there isn't anyone around to help so I just accept that I'm over paying for very mediocre wine and go about my evening. The lack of service is particularly egregious when you consider that you are basically forced to tip the people who have provided you no service at all. I seat myself, I pour my own beverages, there's no food. Yet, when I rerun the card to the boxes, I have to choose my tip percentage. That's absolutely disgusting. I feel like I was robbed by this place and certainly won't be returning. It could be a nice concept but it's very poorly executed.

Great space and ambience for couples or groups to relax and enjoy drinks. They do need some snacks or food trucks daily though, drinking with no food kinda sucks but they said we could bring food in which i will definitely do next time! Overall great place!

Weekly tastings open you up to new horizons and provide a chance to taste some seriously great wines without having to spring for a bottle that is above your average spend. Then again, Graddie and Caleb also have a way to seek and find great values. A bonus is that they offer food delivered from Table 31 next door, which is always excellent and tasty. The deviled eggs, Korean Cauliflower, French Dip and French Fries (crispy until the last bite) are always good as is the rest of their menu. From load-in onward, management seemed far more concerned with monitoring and restricting the performance than supporting live entertainment. Before the show even began, there were already complaints about potential volume levels simply from seeing the sound equipment and production setup. The band and crew made extensive efforts to accommodate every concern throughout the night. The drummer used hot rods instead of regular sticks, the FOH engineer kept the band under very controlled volume levels, and even the lighting setup was intentionally kept minimal and non-intrusive out of respect for the venue. Despite all of those accommodations, management continued hovering throughout the evening and interrupting over very minor issues. It created an unnecessarily tense atmosphere for both the performers and production crew. Live music requires a certain level of comfort and trust between the venue and the people running the show, and unfortunately that never existed here. In addition, one of the bartenders consistently came across as dismissive and talked down to members of the band and crew during the night. At one point, they stated that this was "a bar that happens to have music," and proceeded to lecture me on how sound works and how customers would not be able to hear each other if the band was too loud. This was particularly frustrating considering the extensive efforts already being made by both the band and audio crew to keep levels controlled and respectful for the room. Everyone involved on the production side remained professional and cooperative throughout the evening, but the overall attitude toward live music and production made the experience unnecessarily stressful. As someone who works behind the scenes to help create a professional live experience, it was disappointing to feel like every aspect of the production was treated as a problem rather than part of the entertainment guests came to see. If a venue only wants extremely quiet background music with little to no production presence, they would likely be better suited booking solo acoustic performers instead of full live bands with sound and lighting support.

Normally we would just go out and buy a case or so but with Covid and Supply Chain issues, stores were not able to get bulk shipments which meant that you had to go to multiple bottles. Started out at Total Wine and More in Birkdale and scored 4 bottles. Next tried Wine Maestro and despite the fact that it was 11:30am, there were no cars in the parking lot, lights were off and doors locked. Went to Olive Garden for lunch and while I was there, I called the store. Someone answered and I asked if they were open, and they said yes and they had been there from the time the store opened. Explained I what I was looking for as well. I explained that I had been there 30 to 45 minutes earlier and the lights were off, doors locked and no cars in the lot. The gentleman on the other end of the line said I was wrong and besides, they don't carry the Biltmore Wine. I don't like dealing with this type of untruthfulness. Note: My wife was with me the whole time and she can't understand it either
