Rather than get someone else to do the IV, they change the test without informing me nor with my consent and even ignored me when I double checked on the dye. Julie Carey, the patient liaison seems to think this is perfectly OK. Even though this was done after the tech told me the test would show nothing without the dye. My complaints will be forwarded to an agency that's not there to protect their employees. I'm beyond disappointed with their findings and the fact that this person is getting away with doing this to people. I am absolutely disgusted that they have this person still there with no disaplinary actions whatsoever. NTM, I have to pay for a test I didn't and wouldn't have consented to. She put me through high exposure radiation twice and for no good reason and that got me no useful results whatsoever. I believe I am even going to consult an attorney about this and their findings. This is so wrong, I'm just totally floored by it

The office manager was excellent and very efficient with my insurance, scheduling and follow up. The technicians were very professional and extremely accommodating getting me in and out of the machine with my painful back. They provided me a disc for my back surgeon immediately and said it would take less than 48 hours for the radiologist to do the report. I left to bring the disc to my back surgeon and by the time I got there, the Rayus radiologist had already read the MRI and sent a comprehensive report to my doctor!!! I had to go back today for another copy of my disc for the pain neurologist and they had it ready and waiting for me! I highly recommend the staff at Rayus Radiology in Haverhill! Absolute Professionals!

My appointment was at 2:10. Check in was simple. Standard forms to sign in…read more Short wait. Took me back to examine room. Was asked to change into a gown and surgical pants. I had to leave my cane outside. Technician was great. She made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. The machine was not bad. It had open sides. Wasn't as bad as people said it would be. It took roughly half hour. Noise wasn't too bad. They give patients a CD to take to doctor.

Rescheduled and had my sister take me because she had been there before. She said she had a hell of a time finding it her first time. This is the worst medical facility I have ever been to. First the scheduling person told me that I…read morewould need to fast from all liquids for six hours prior to the MRI. This was not true. I found out as soon as I can got there that I could have drunk water the entire day; I was only to fast from food. Going 6 hours for a person who takes several dehydrating medications was bad & it hurt the MRI procedure because I was so dehydrated the nurse couldn't find a vein to give me contrasting dye. She ended up poking me multiple times, giving me several bruises & finally decided to do the MRI, without contrast first & decided to do the second one, with contrasting, later. When she tried injecting me with the solution, she again poked me several times until she finally found a vein but not without both arms bruised, swollen & leaving me in pain. The MRI itself was the worst I have ever had (& I've had several due to severe back issues). They couldn't hear me screaming out to lower the volume because the headphones thundering in my ear, playing beating drugs, while someone to breath in & out for what was close to an hour & 1/2 (& they told me the entire process should only take 30 minutes. I left dehydrated, with a migraine headache, & looking like a junkie. If the process weren't bad enough, the radiologist's results were totally bogus. His report said I clearly had a 7 mm cyst, tumor, or stone on my ampulla (connecting the bile ducts to the pancreas) so it was necessary for me to have a very expensive procedure where they found absolutely nothing! There was NO 7mm anywhere on my ampulla. So this radiologist was totally incompetent. It was an uncomfortable & unnecessary procedure. I was talked into using this place by my insurance company, who claimed it would save me 500.00 but ended up costing 10 times that! I will never take their bad advice again! Go anywhere else to have your MRI! This was one of my worst medical decisions & experiences.
