Two mix plates with the works

Food was excellent. The brisket was amazing. Sides were great. And Mike was so attentive. We will be back.

Outstanding and delicious lunch 2 meat plates. Hearty portions for the price. Flavorful pork ribs and well prepared bbq chicken. The roll was delicious and the pickles and onions were a great addition. Quick service! I'll definitely visit again.

my dinner of ribs on paper!

Came for early dinner, brisket was dry and not flavorful. My three ribs were St. Louis for an additional 1.50 served on a piece of paper with a tray under it. I picked potatoe salad for side which was a mistake, the baked beans were good but not the coleslaw. We are't coming back

My husband and I stopped by on our way home from an appointment. We shared the 3 meat plate and still came home with leftovers. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The food was amazing! The jalapeño sausage is so good! I don't tolerate heat very well and this was just enough heat for me. The pulled pork had a great spice on it and the brisket was by tender. The Mac and cheese was cooked perfect, wasn't dry, just the right amount of gooey cheese sauce. We'll for sure be going back.

We always try a local bbq spot wherever we go. This place is great! Ordered Mac and cheese, chopped brisket, coleslaw. Everything was wonderful and now on our list of Favs! Can't wait to go back. The vibe is fun and different. We travel for ski and snowboard. Ordered with Mike. Real nice guy.

Delicious brisket breakfast burrito! I love that you can actually smell and taste the smoky brisket. All the flavors are fresh, and the salsas are spicy and full of flavor. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

What a cool spot with multiple offerings in a random strip mall in Holliday. Service was great, the lady was able to answer all our questions and loved the layout of the tables. Got the brisket nachos, and it was delicious. The cheese was rich, the brisket was moist and seasoned well, and I loved the beans they put on it. The sweet and spicy with the jalapenos really hit the spot. I wish there were a little more toppings as the bottom chips were pretty bare, but I'll definitely be back to try their other meats.

3 Meat Plate with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork

If you eat a lot of bbq you'll probably just think this place is ok. If you don't, or you've only eaten bbq in Utah, you'll probably really like it. This is another Utah bbq restaurant that can survive here, but probably wouldn't in a different state with more choices and competition. Like most bbq restaurants here, they chop their brisket, which usually helps hide a poorly smoked brisket. Their brisket was the worst of the 3. Pork was a little dry, and ribs weren't bad. Sides were pretty good. For bbq sauce they service little packets of sweet baby rays. You get a dinner roll instead of corn bread or sliced bread.

Unfortunately, our waitress, Carol (older lady with blond curly hair) , was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable. When I asked my friends if they wanted another shot, Carol interrupted and asked, "Who's driving?" We ubered. We had also eaten and were not acting drunk, loud, or causing any problems. It wasn't the question that bothered us--it was the way she asked it and how she spoke to us afterward. Her tone was condescending and made us feel like she thought we were irresponsible and didn't know our own limits. We are all well over 21 and were simply enjoying food and drinks. After snarkily saying, "Let's think about that first.." she walked away and never came back to our table. Angie ended up helping us and checking us out and telling us our waitresses name. Angie was kind, professional, and even apologized for our experience even though none of it was her fault. The rude service from Carol completely ruined what was otherwise a nice night out. We have NEVER been treated this way before at other places. Because of how we were treated, I will not be returning.

They have something like 10 taps, lots of it is pretty nice craft beer. On Tuesdays, it's only $2! Apparently they have been offering this deal for decades! What's the catch? They are operating as a restaurant so in Utah, you are required to order food with your drinks. They do have some cheaper food options and the servers are very cool with you sharing food. I recommend getting a pizza to share! As far as the food is concerned, it's your pretty standard bar/pub food but a little bit more upscale. So, it's a good spot if you're looking for something that everyone will enjoy. Their pizzas are popular and very reasonably priced. Porcupine is also a great location for post mountain activities and right along multiple trail routes. I frequently find myself here after an intense outdoor activity, looking for air conditioning and good food. The nice thing about them operating as a restaurant is that it's kid friendly! Our server was funny, personable, and attentive, especially when it came to drinks and refills. Things started going downhill when I received my entree, the Poor Man's Truffle. Unfortunately, the only way this dish lived up to its name was in how little the supposedly high-quality ingredients seemed to come through. The dish itself is fairly simple, which normally isn't a bad thing when the ingredients are meant to speak for themselves. With Belper Knolle, truffle oil, pistachio pesto, tomato, fennel, and arugula, I expected something flavorful and well balanced. Instead, the entire dish tasted incredibly mild. Belper Knolle is typically a bold, salty, peppery cheese, and I could visibly see the black pepper around the edges of the thin shavings, but the flavor barely registered. I also couldn't taste the truffle oil at all. There was visible oil pooling at the bottom of the plate, but no noticeable truffle flavor. I understand pistachio pesto tends to be more subtle than a traditional basil pesto, but altogether, this dish just fell completely flat for me. The presentation didn't help either. It looked more like something that had been scooped from a pan and dropped onto the plate than a thoughtfully plated entree. When a dish misses both on flavor and presentation, that's when it becomes a real disappointment for me. I will say the gnocchi itself was cooked well, which was one of the few positives. I also tried the burger, and it was significantly better than my pasta. However, the very small sprinkle of bacon was a little baffling considering it was an additional upcharge. Where the night really went downhill was at the end of the meal. I had been excited to try the beignets because that isn't a dessert I see on menus very often. Our entree plates were cleared, and then we waited about 20 minutes before our server returned and asked whether we were ready for the check. Dessert wasn't mentioned, and by that point our table was tired of waiting, so we decided to skip it and asked for our checks. Then our server disappeared for another 30 minutes. We eventually had to flag down a hostess who was seating another table and let her know that we were still waiting for the check. About five minutes later, our server finally returned and casually explained how "crazy" the night had gotten because of the show. I understand restaurants get busy, but the apology felt very dismissive after we had waited nearly an hour from finishing our entrees to finally receiving the check. It genuinely felt like our table had simply been forgotten. I also want to add that I tend to hold restaurants like this to a higher standard. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for." If I'm eating at a fast-food spot or somewhere inexpensive and casual, there's only so much room to complain. But when a restaurant has prices like this, highlights premium ingredients on the menu, and presents itself as a more elevated dining experience, I think that naturally opens the food and service up to more criticism. At that price point, I expect the quality, presentation, and overall experience to reflect what I'm paying for. My final takeaway is that maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Pesto is one of my favorite things, so I almost always want to give a pesto-based dish a try. Unfortunately, Prohibition's pesto gnocchi was not it for me. I also saw that they describe themselves as a scratch kitchen using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which I don't necessarily doubt. What confused me was how so many ingredients that should have distinct flavors somehow tasted like almost nothing. If your goal is interesting drinks and a fun show, this is probably still a place worth considering. Since we sat outside, I can't speak on the show part, but it seems to be a big hit. Food-wise, though, it missed the mark for me.
