    Spiked Chai
    Ashley L.

Ruben was our server, he greeted us quickly, super friendly, and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. The manager even stopped by to say hi and check, which is always a nice touch. Atmosphere was relaxed, music not too loud, easy to have a conversation. Drinks: Brunch Mule (pearl vodka, bitters, OJ, ginger beer) - refreshing and summery, but the ginger beer must've taken the day off. Still tasty, just not what I'd call a mule. More like its cousin who shows up at brunch uninvited. Spiked Chai (bourbon, espresso liqueur, cold brew, chai tea, cinnamon) - now this one was a winner. I'm not usually a coffee cocktail girl, but I can't say no to bourbon or a chai. Perfect breakfast drink. Just give it a stir, the bartender is generous, but if you don't mix it, you'll be taking straight shots of bourbon by the bottom. (Not that I'm complaining.) Food: Waffle Dog - sausage link dipped in waffle batter and fried. Fun idea, but the execution? Batter-to-sausage ratio was way off, undercooked, and the sausage was somehow lukewarm at best. It felt like the dish wanted to be at brunch, but didn't set an alarm. Hard pass. Monte Cristo (husband's pick) - shaved ham and Swiss, battered, griddled, with tots and house jam. Absolute perfection. Crispy outside, melty inside, piping hot, and that jam? HANDS DOWN the MVP of the table. We liked it so much we got extra to go. Even the tots were shockingly good; crispy, golden, and not sad cafeteria style. Biscuits & Gravy (my forever weakness) - cheddar jalapeño biscuit (yes, jalapeño, and it worked beautifully), scratch-made sausage gravy, and two eggs over medium. Biscuit was fluffy and light, jalapeño was subtle but present, and the gravy? Rich, savory, and comforting. Not your classic sausage gravy, but still fantastic. The hash browns though... sigh. I ask for extra crispy everywhere, and apparently that request just goes into the void. These were pale, limp, and nowhere near crispy. At this point, crispy hash browns in the Valley are starting to feel like Bigfoot: rumored to exist, but never actually spotted. Overall: Prices were right, service was excellent, and most of the food hit the mark. Skip the waffle dogs, order the Monte Cristo, and guard that house jam with your life. We'll definitely be back, though I'll keep holding out hope that one day, somewhere, my dream of truly crispy hash browns won't be just a pipe dream.

Letty!!! I love her. My Navigation system was going crazy... instead of getting the fastest route; I got the scenic one. I landed at OE 20 minutes before closing. I walked in , just as they were getting ready to cut off food service. The look on my face... I am pretty sure it was a combination of disappointment and defeat. Letty was kind enough to let me in. I sat at the bar, to make it easier for the staff and also that way I can get beverage refills, faster. I asked Letty for recommendations and she suggested the Chilaquiles, The Basil Melt, Cajun Hash, Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs, and Banana Nut French Toast. The very first words that came out of my mouth... I need a drink and Letty suggested their Bloody Kicker- Bloody Mary/Maria--in addition to the Green Chile Vodka it also has Spicy Ghost Tequila. Letty did a fabulous job putting my drink together I love a great pickle and piece of bacon-- it's a snack before eating I ordered the Chilaquiles Christmas style with softly scrambled eggs, and diced avocado. The eggs were cooked to perfection... It's very rare that I get scrambled eggs that don't end up being hard as rocks. The Chilaquiles were the perfect blend of crunchy and soft chips with their chicken Tinga. My only complaint is that I had to do a major excavation to get to the chicken, it was buried. I really enjoyed my meal and my drinks-- don't judge but I had two. Letty allowed me to enjoy my food and said I could stay, while they were closing up. I really appreciated that, I did finish before they did. I definitely would go back just because of Letty's amazing customer service and personality.

I went in around 10:30am on a Saturday as I wait to pick up my wife from the airport. I found them on Apple Maps and I'm glad I did. One thing with breakfast places is they use a godly amount of oil or butter but this place did not! But let's get to the review... Walked in and briefly greeted by a lady at the front. She was super friendly and asked if I wanted bar or table and I decided the bar. They had some sports playing. I was quickly greeted by the bartender Monica who was super sweet and gave me a run down of everything. I did a build your own egg white omelette and it was bomb! It was not oily like other breakfast spots. They also used fresh jalepenos and not pickled which is !! I love fresh jalepenos! So points there! It came with a variety of options for sides and I went with the hash that was sautéed with onions! Sourdough bread also on the side! I also had their fresh OJ which Monica said they made this morning which is another big point. I went the healthier route for my options but they also have a tremendous amount of sweet breakfast that sounded delicious and I will be back for a cheat day Monica did a great job and super welcoming! Would recommend this for some breakfast/brunch

I took a quick girls trip this week. This was our first stop as we were ready to eat! (After being up since the 5am hour to catch a flight from Long Beach). Our first impression was great. It was such a CUTE and happy vibe!! I loved the combo of blue, white and yellow. We arrived about 11:15am. It wasn't very busy at all, which is good as we were on a time crunch. I ordered lunch but my friends all ordered breakfast. They enjoyed their food and I thought mine was fantastic! I got a side of ranch for my sandwich, it was great! A *good* ranch! Another fun tidbit is that this restaurant was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. When traveling, my husband and I like to find Triple D restaurants to try out. This one was a hit and I would absolutely eat there again.

    Chilaquiles

Best Chilequiles I've ever had !!! Service was great and I love that the kids had something to play with too. Wish we had one in CA :(

Second time here! The first time I liked it. I now know, oI can come here and get a great breakfast! Plenty of locations to choose from. Today, My daughter and I came in on another Sunday funday! We must of missed the rush. Yay! The young man greeter us and grabbed drink orders. We ordered Chicken and waffles and Pigs in a Blanket on a stick! Let's just say we both did my food dance! Waffle was fresh and hot. Chicken was juicy and seasoned well. Now the PIB! Delicious. These were always my favorite as a kid very hard to find. Unless you make them yourself! Thank you OE for bringing me back to my childhood memory! Well done! Until we meet again!

This is not my usual high marks for OE, but their air wasn't working, my poached eggs were overcooked and I didn't love the location as much as the new one by me in Tempe. Great service and the staff was very friendly!

The ordering process was clear and efficient and the administrative staff was always available to answer any questions that arose. This company is not short on communication and both the owner, Eric, and manager, Carson, ensured that our experience was wonderful and our expectations were exceeded. The catering menu itself is large (15 pages long) and diverse with many different options including passed appetizers, dinner packages, carving stations, and much more. We opted for the delivery service and ordered about ten Heavy Hor's d'Oeuvres from the À la carte menu items for our party of 45. Delivery was on time and set up was as expected. While I would not recommend the Crab & Cheese Rangoons (overcooked and dry) nor the Bruschetta (Crostini toasts were too hard/crunchy), most of our menu choices were delicious: - Mini Cuban Sandwiches (amazing) - Mini Beef Wellingtons with Creamy Horseradish (amazing) - Thai Peanut Chicken Skewers (excellent) - Flatbread with pulled pork and caramelized onions (excellent) - Marinated Grilled Vegetable Display (excellent) - Firecracker Shrimp Spring Rolls (good, but a bit overcooked/crunchy) [- Tomato bruschetta itself was fresh and flavorful] Overall a great first experience ... This company was very easy to work with and we will use them again for future events.

I decided to look online to see who could make a charcuterie board for me. And lucky for me XOXO Charcuterie came up in my search. People came in, grabbed a "boat", a drink and found a seat and settled down to listen to our speaker. But, back to the "boats". It was super easy to order them online. A quick text to check the date with Masha and after she gave me the go ahead, I just ordered them on her website. The best part? They delivered them at precisely the time she said they would! And, not only were they charming to look at, but they were delicious. Everyone loved them. They looked exactly like they looked on the website. My wife and I love to cook and have prepared some outstanding meals at home over our 40 years together. We have extensively traveled and lived throughout the world and as such developed pallets for superb cuisine from all over. As we grew older we gleaned the best of what we enjoy and developed them into our own cooking skills. My wife being Korean born refined her cooking skills in the eastern cuisine like Korean, Japanese, Thailand, and others while I have refined my skills with French and Italian. Prescott is a beautiful place to live but its culinary basis is built on sawdust. We usually cook for ourselves if we want a top notch meal. Now the past several years I have been confined to a wheelchair and transport is very limited. We used to spend winters in Hawaii where we could get great quality meals and seafood whether we prepared them or went out. So our 40th! I wanted to do something special for my wife since I have not been living up to my end of our culinary relationship being confined to a wheelchair. Thus I started seeking out a Chef that would come to our home with his staff and prepare a custom made meal for us. I selected Chef Thomas and Copper State Kitchen. I started by a rather lengthy discussion via phone and followed up with sending Chef Thomas some of our favorite recipes, sufficient for him to develop a five-course meal for us. Chef Thomas is very professional and easy to work with. We refined the meal over the next two days we agreed on the following proposed menu; I supplied the wines. Amuse-Bouche * Fig Jam, Blue Cheese, Red Wine Poached Pear & Arugula Crostini Starter * Prime Rib Poke with sesame crunch and microgreens and pipkuala aioli (based on my deconstruction of the infamous Tiki Bar in Waikiki dish) Pasta Course * Lobster Tagliatelle in a Champagne Cream Sauce Main Course * Beef Wellington with foie gras and red wine demi-glace Dessert * Crème Brûlée (torched table-side) Wine Pairings * Santa Margarita Prosecco DOCG * Domaine Salmon Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc * Tenuta de Sesta Brunello di Montalcino 1996 * Chateau Rieussec 1st Grand Cru Classe 1863 Sauternes 2004 Every course was perfect and very enjoyable. And they cleaned the kitchen meeting my wife's expectations. I highly recommend Copper State Kitchen for your personal culinary experience to celebrate your special occasions.
