They have a wood-fired oven, and the artichokes may be one of the best things I have ever eaten. I normally order the grilled chicken breast and my bf had one of the best steaks of his life here. The bread is freshly baked and so, so good. While I have not tried any of the desserts, they bring out a dark chocolate truffle after the meal that is the perfect ending.

There is a wide range of dishes, including many kinds of pasta and a broad range of Neopolitan style pizzas with a delicious thin crust. The actual food quality was uniformly great. All our dishes were delicious. My pizza was great. One of my wife's all-time favourite Italian dishes (Provola alla Pizzaiola - aka Cheese Soup) was available here. If you need a break from Spanish food while in Madrid, Bresca is a great choice.
