I truly was not impressed at all with my visit to this place. I came in the evening and had to make a few turn arounds to even find a parking spot because the lot was so full. There is only a few spaces and a very busy liquor store right next to it which made it impossible. Even getting out of the parking spot afterwards was a bit of a challenge because cars were lined up behind us to go through the liquor drive through. It took a while for the order to come out which seemed okay since we figured it would be fresh. Unfortunately the fries tasted super old, the wings tasted old, refried and cold and the seasoning wasn't great. The sandwiches were flavor lacking in my opinion. One order of fries is good for two people. My husband paid $30+ for two sandwiches and fries, not bad. We ordered take out and had the food at home. I had the empire steak without cheese and my husband had the Long Island, which was recommended to him at the restaurant. I tasted one bite of the Long Island and it was good, but REALLY SALTY. My husband and his family are from Brooklyn New York. So anything that says they are "New York" style we always have to try. My family and I were in town and craving a good sandwich. We saw that Outta Bronx was a quick 10 min drive from our hotel we knew we had to give this place a shot. We walked in and the place is a bit small prob about 6-8 tables and luckily they were not busy. We went to the counter and our server/cashier was so friendly. We weren't sure what to order and she helped us out. My kids split a hot dog/fries meal and my husband and I opted for the he shroomy Swiss and the Baja fries. I was so excited that our meals came out so fast. And let me tell you. This is so close to the food we get in New York it was ridiculous. I loved that the sandwich baguette was so soft but had a great crunch. The brisket mixed with the Swiss and mushrooms were to die for. And the Baja fries were also a suggestion. They were a bit spicy but so so good. I love a little kick to my good. Overall, this was the best restaurant we visited while we were in town and my mouth is watering writing this review right now. I've seen them pop up on Yelp and delivery apps before, so I figured, eh, okay. These wings are salty to the point of being inedible. I don't know what Buffalo sauce they're using, but they need to cut the salt at least by half. I can't even taste any other flavors in the sauce because the salt is so overpowering. It's like eating a wet piece of salted meat. Likewise, the fried pickle batter was way too salty. This is not good food. This is food that people whose diet consists of Hostess cupcakes and hot Cheetos would think is good. Will be requesting a refund through UberEats. Unassuming place that will wowwwwww your tastebuds!!! Baguette is so light, crunchy on the outside, soft and fresh on the inside, perfection! We tried the BBQ beef sandwich and Chicken Cali Chick, meat in both was juicy and flavorful.
