The Outlet is very clean and nice. You can tell it is well maintained. The downfall with it is the lack stores. You have big names like Coach, Polo, Nike, etc., but a LOT of the stores are empty and the place just seems either before its time (too new) or just not busy enough to support more stores. I had not been yet so decided to try it out today with my mother. She also commented about how "uncrowned" the outlet felt. Granted we did go at 1000 on a Thursday so maybe it picks up on weekends or evenings. But based on the way it is now (tons of empty store fronts) I would probably drive the extra 10 minutes to go to the Tanger Outlet instead. If you just want to go to hit a specific store or two then this place is convenient if you live in the area and it is actually really nice. The splash pad and playground in the middle for the kids was great. Just make sure you bring a change of cloths if you let them get wet, or maybe plan to buy them something from one of the 2 kids stores there. All in all the place was nice and I might go back to hit a specific store or two, but I probably wont plan a whole day wandering again. read more

Five stars for fabulous Santa experience. They have a little Santa cottage and each group sees Santa all by themselves, no pressure to leave. The way the cottage is set up is, you walk in and straight ahead is a Christmas tree. To the left is the counter for the camera and to pay. Our 6-year old grandson who had never met Santa before, walked around the counter and stood still, jaw dropped. There was Santa sitting in his chair by a fireplace. It was as if he couldn't believe he was in the presence of Santa Clause. At the same time, I announced he had never seen Santa before so they made the experience extra special. They also gave us great coupons to buy cookies, candy and yogurt and more. Mostly buy one get one free. The kids also had a blast on the playground and riding the train. The sleigh they have set up in another area would be great for family pictures to send out pictorial Christmas cards. Anyone can sit and take pictures. It is quite big and can accommodate large families. read more

Lots of shops. Generally pretty quiet and I've always had positive experiences in the different stores. If you don't live relatively close the deals might not really be worth the drive. My little sister loves the playground and Claire's. read more

Went to the Vans Outlet and the staff wanted to assist me in selecting shoes but the owner told the staff not to help. The staff member was told to return the shoes back to the supply room and not to serve me. The staff was extremely uncomfortable because I overheard the comment. The staff made an attempt to remain professional even though the atmosphere the owner created was hostile unnecessarily. I never dance with devils nor give attention to stupidity and ignorance. read more

soooo....what is going on at this place? literally 50% of the spaces at this mall are vacant! we drove in today and were shocked to see it looked like a ghost town with lots of groups of people just chilling out on the grass and dogs everywhere--it felt like i was walking around a large park! didn't look like anyone was really shopping so it kinda reminded me of a highway rest area. apparently they have done some construction to make it look more open in front (and they advertise more parking, but why put more parking if the stores are gone?!) but all that you can see now is an ENTIRE row of empty storefronts! sad...i think the other malls in phoenix are putting this place out of business slowly and surely. also the "food court" was lacking in variety and was very dark, smelly and unappealing. i can remember coming up to this mall about a year ago and there were many more stores here back then! not good! my family and i will definitely be sticking to the tanger outlets because there is much more variety and life there. read more

Great selection of stores and a nice indoor area with clean bathrooms. However, I would skip the food court as the selection is limited.

Finally made it back and checked out the Coach Outlet, OMG UTOPIA!!! It now seems I need to get a 2nd job just to support my every growing want of every coach bag I see!! read more

These are probably the worst outlets I have ever been to. (And I will admit, I have been spoiled by the Woodbury Common outlets, with Theory, Gucci, Burberry, Catherine Malandrino, Carolina Herrera, DVF, La Perla...the list goes on...) Not that the Anthem outlets are particularly bad in anyway, they are just really, really lacking. No Banana outlet? No JCrew? What is that about? I thought those were standards. The Polo outlet is probably the only reason to go. There are also regular stores there and it really bothers me when an outlet center has regular stores. read more

Great shopping! My wife and I have been to outlets in other places outside of the Arizona and these outlets are just as great. Fair prices, lots of food choices if you get hungry, plenty of parking, clean restrooms, helpful staff, and great products. If you like the outlets then give these a visit. read more

If you like Guess, Ralph Lauren and similar stores, this is your outlet mall for finding some awesome discounts. I've come to the Anthem outlets here and there over the years and while I can't say I've found anything worth breaking news, I can say that it's worth walking into if you're in the area. read more

Driving back to sunny San Diego from Sedona on 2/21 around noon, and I noted this place had a Columbia outdoors store. We promptly made a u-turn. We walked in and their wasn't a lot of people for a Sunday. I love that. Sales reps didn't follow us, a nice change from every where else in AZ. I found several things in the store and tried them on, loving every thing! Their were so many awesome deals, as most things were 25% off. (Did I just hit the jackpot)?! I checked out with 5 items paying less than 140.00 and was more then impressed! Sean was my cashier and he was prompt and filed all my things neatly (bonus points) and knew exactly what my reusable bag was unlike most others. He slipped everything inside and on top of all that was polite and not pushy about the club and to join! Yay! Anyway.. Great visit. Gorgeous mall, food courts and restrooms sparkled. I give this mall points for trying. The stores that are open are relevant, clean and have good merchandise. There is a good mix of stores, as well. The food court is clean and appealing, with a good choice of restaurants. I really hate the reviewers who give one star when there are some really great stores here. Yes, there are some empty spaces but I imagine the mall management and open stores are always trying to fill up the openings. We love to walk around here, even when we are not shopping. A small splash pad and nice covered play area make it a good place to bring the kiddos. read more

In the grand scheme of outlet malls, this one is small and meh. However, the recent addition of J. Crew (squee!) and Banana-fuckin'-Republic (double squee!!!) have improved this once ghetto locale. Both Crew and BR have excellent deals, but they can be hit or miss, and unfortunately it's a really far drive from central Phoenix! read more

I got an adorable coffee mug with Polo horse/rider on it for 12.99 I like the home section here but the dresses seemed a bit bland this time and boring sweaters too. I like the belts especially the silver studded/leather ones so I have my eye on that one for next time. read more

I live behind this mall and in those 2 years I have seen a lot more empty stores, the ones that are there seem to not understand the "outlet" idea (prices are the same as the mall!) and even w/ what was supposed to be the re-model of the area, the place has a real need for better vendors and should have a sit down restaurant! read more

This place is very nice, however, the prices suck. Nothing is any cheaper than the regular stores at regular malls. I recently went to the children's place store and they claimed 'everything was 50 percent off.' There were signs everywhere and the sales clerk yelled this to me when I walked in the store. My daughter picked out a bunch of stuff and when we went to check out, none of it was 50 percent off. I asked the clerk and she said 'oh, some stuff is not on sale.' My daughter had picked everything so I didn't want to have to put it back, but I was really annoyed. How does that work, 'everything is 50 percent off', but then out of the ten items you buy, none of them are 50 percent off? It's a nice mall but I've never found any great deals here. read more

Many stores are closed, and the idea that at the outlet you'll get a better deal is HISTORY. You can get better deals even in the fancy Fashion Square if you are patient and look for the right time. Considering how far it is...save your gas and shop more locally. read more

I love the Outlets At Anthem! They have a good variety of stores and prices are decent! I just visited the Coach outlet and was VERY HAPPY they have one here! I bought a purse because the price was so great on it, but I ended up returning because after trying it for a day, I realized I wasn't fond of the bottom strap. We used to go here a lot for play dates and minor shopping when the kids were young but once we grew out of the play areas, we couldn't find much to do there. It's often too hot to shop in an outdoor mall and for a time they didn't have many good stores that made it worth the gas it cost to get there. Now we only go to eat at the Ruby's (only one we know of nearby) and to see the Christmas tree lighting (by the way, that is always great). It's a shame that it doesn't feel they kept with the times very well and at least in my opinion, I think they will get shutdown by the massive online shopping craze. read more

Most of the prices at these stores are still high, even for outlets. I went into Under Armour, Polo, Nike, Pacific Sunwear, Nautica and The Columbia Store. I found the best prices at Pac Sun and The Columbia Store. That is most likely due to the season change and I happened to catch a few good deals. I wouldn't go in the Polo store again because of the insane tags on clearance and regular priced items . Too bad because my boyfriend LOVES Polo. Lucky for me, I found some great hiking boots for 70 percent off and a cute beanie for under $10 at The Columbia Store. I was very happy with these purchases. I would not make a special trip to come shopping here, but if you happen to pass by the Outlets at Anthem, it might be worth your time. If you like Coach, which I do, but can't afford it LOL- they have a Coach store, too. read more

This is a relatively small outlet mall but it has all your major players. Polo, Columbia, Gap, Quicksilver, Nautica, Hillfiger, Nike and more. They have a nice little food court and a covered play area for kids to run around. Its worth the stop if you're driving by. read more

This place is located off the I-17 outside of Phoenix. There are a lot of empty shops and there's a couple of stores that are worth going to. they are opening up a Coach store in October 2011 and even one for the mens. I like the fact that there are misters to keep cool during the summer. Best avoid on weekends if possible, because when you try to exit the outlet near the gas station, good luck getting out, there is no light and you can be stuck just waiting for it to be safe to cross traffic (if you have to go towards the freeway. Nike store, Guess factory outlet and now the Under Armour store are favorite stores. read more

i thought a pair of shoes were on sales but turns out they weren't. i then had to go look for a new pair but there were nun in my size. so i had just asked the worker to scan the shirts. but she was nice enough to make chances to the pair of shoes. i ended up walking out with the shoes and with everything on sale my total cost was $75. thanks to the worker, she had made my day:) read more

my sister-in-law drug me around this place for four hours. i think i would have had a better experience if this was an indoor shopping experience. it was incredibly hot in phoenix when we went. thank god they have misters outside while you're walking along. right outside the food court, they had a children's play area that had some water features. oh how i wish i could have just sat down right in the middle to play water with them! looked like a lot of fun. some kids had their swim suits on, others just went in their regular clothes. if lanna was older, i'd probably have let her play around in it, too. when you get there, grab a directory and plan our your route! this place is pretty big. you don't wanna double back in the heat, either. they have a few cute children's clothing stores like carter's, oshkosh b'gosh and the children's place. prices were pretty good; lots of sales and clearance items. probably wont head here again unless it's in the winter time. too hot. read more

The Coach store was packed a many bags were half off. Nike was cool and the luggage store had great deals. Go across the street for a brunch or lunch break at Cafe Aroma to recharge and shop more. The Levi Outlet had awrsome deals and face it...their jeans last forever so you can't beat that! read more

Seems more like a large outdoor mall. Can't really say the prices are outlet prices. Food court had several options of food. Nice areas to sit to eat and or relax with TVs. Nice little splash pad area for younger kids. read more
