I was greeted by a wonderful young girl at the door and then another women helped out though the whole store. Wow!!! I was impressed since I usually shop at the Michael Kors in Scottsdale Kierland. I have been going to the Michael Kors store for several years now. This store has become a joke! Walls are empty. I thought they were closing. The staff are so rude and condescending. Especially the larger redhead. It was like she was doing me a favor by being there. Other associates (who look like they are in high school) just stood at the counter chatting. Horrible customer service. Condescending employees. You should not call customers "HUN!" I purchased four purses over the weekend and decided one was too small. I brought it back today with the receipt wanting to exchange it for something else. The girl at the counter told me she couldn't return it because it had a stain on it. I asked her to show me the stain and it was actually a little speck of some thing on the outside. I said, " I'll wipe it off " and she would not let me wipe it off. She proceeded to talk to the manager who said they would exchange it for me just this one time but never again. I never used the purse. I went to exchange it for a different purse and noticed that two light purses both had stains on them as they were hanging on the rack. I will not shop at this location again. I asked for the price of an item, and I got a very rude response as well. Truth be told - I am a big bargain shopper! Show me a clearance sign and it attracts me like bees to honey! My trip to Michael Kors today was to get another small bottle (rollerball purse size) of their Sexy Amber perfume. I ran out of mine and missed that lovely fragrance.... so to the MK Outlet for more. While there I fell in love with the cutest little mini clutch that I just had to have and for the 80% off clearance - ummm that was a no brainer lol! So I am happy to say I've got my new MK mini clutch for $30 (say what!?!) and my Sexy Amber to fit into my new mini clutchI also have a 25% off discount card from an MK employee who is a very dear friend of mine, but they do not take it at the outlet stores because it is already discounted below what the 25% discount card would give me at a retail store and they don't "double discount!" I am extremely disappointed in the way my family and I were treated in this store. We purchased a pair of sunglasses that ended up having a screw missing. We were told by every other store that we just need to take the sunglasses in and get them swapped out since there is a 2 year limited warranty on the frames. None of the previous stores we went to had the glasses on hand. One cashier was able to find our transaction and wrote some information and told us to take it in to this location. On our way home (traveling out of state) we stopped at this location because we were told there were 3 on hand. We walked in wearing relaxed clothing since we were traveling and immediately felt the judgment. We were discriminated against and told that we were unable to swap out the glasses due to no warranty. The managers, Cherish and Nora, stated they had to make a few calls prior to the transaction. The two walked around the store continuously walking away from my family and I. Finally I was able to talk to one of the other ladies and she said she would be right back and see what was going on. The original lady came back out and stated that there is no warranty and that they were unwilling to help. At this point I got upset with the ladies and explained my frustration. I was then told they would make a "One time Accommodation" which would be the only one I can ever make in my life. (After this experience I will never shop there again so they won't have to worry about an accommodation.) The lady began processing the transaction, asked for my phone number one time. Did not write it down anywhere then suddenly walked away again. She then comes back to tell me she cannot locate my transaction after searching 3 different times and was unwilling to process anything. I was then asked if I ever even purchased the sunglasses, implying I stole them. I got extremely upset at this point. The ladies both smirked as they informed me that they were unwilling to assist and there was nothing more they could do. These were $90 sunglasses that were defected from the time of purchase. Not sure about you but I don't just have $90 laying around to throw around. Ultimately from the moment we walked in we could feel the discrimination. There is no need to judge someone just by the clothes we were wearing or the color of our skin. Sad to say but within our party there were 2 purses, a wallet and sunglasses that were going to be purchased. At this point we will NEVER do business here again. Shame on you! On a side note, we called another store who is more than willing to help. They have since shipped out a box with return label so I can send my sunglasses back to get swapped out. So if you are ever in Castle Rock, visit that store. read more

The customer service here was horrible. I am a avid michael kors shopper and I refuse to go back to this store. The First time I went in there was 2 weeks ago. No one greeted me when I walked in. I looked around for about 15 mins before someone even asked it I was ok. I found a bag I loved once they knew I was going to buy something they were all over me. I purchased the bag and used itfor 2 days and the threading on the handle came off. I tried to take it back to get it replaced but since I didn't have the tags they wouldn't. They said they could take if it was defective. Humm well if the the threading is comming off isn't that defective? I could not believe that they refused to do anything. There is absolutely NO customer service at this store. You would think at these prices they could make some effort. I went in to see the handbags and was never greeted or acknowledged. Two male sales associates standing around. One continuously walking over to the mirror to stare at himself (barf). There were barely any people in the store so it was not like they were too busy. As far as the bags the prices are way too high. You can get better deals at Macy's or Dillard's when they have their sales. Also, these bags appear to be made for Factory only. They are different styles than you see in full priced MK stores or department stores. Do not waste your time, energy or gas driving up to this store. read more

Of Kors, the merchandise is lovely, and the salesperson friendly. But I chose not to get the bag I was drooling over. My kids chided me because it was Mother's Day- since I live 45 miles away and was afraid the bag I wanted might be gone, I called. They took pics and sent them to be sure it was the one I wanted then took my payment info over the phone! Both ladies went completely out of their way for me and my strange phone request!! My husband and I stopped in this past weekend after I was pretty disappointed with the selection at the Coach store across the way. I had never purchased this brand so we thought Hey let's see what these are. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the associate that helped us was great. I am horrible with names but my receipt says Gloria. She was telling us about spending her 21st Birthday at Disneyland, she was so great and bubbly. I told her exactly what type of bag I like and she picked some out. After going through a few options we decided on the first one she showed me and picked a wallet also. I have NEVER been treated so poorly at a store in my whole entire life!!! I'm usually not one to write reviews, but I felt the need to warn everyone about how awful this store is! I purchased a pair of sunglasses from this store last May. A few weeks ago the metal hinge on one side broke from sitting in the case in my purse. I went to return the sunglasses today and when the sales associate saw that I bought over a year ago, she said there was nothing they could do because the warranty is only for a year. I'm sorry, but when I pay this kind of money for a pair of sunglasses, I expect them to last for more than a year! When I asked her and another associate if there was anything they could do, she said well that's our policy in a very snotty tone. I asked to talk to the manager and she was just as nasty and mean as the other people. She finally agreed to replace the sunglasses, but she made me feel so uncomfortable and like I was the one who had done something wrong. I am truly disgusted by how this store treats their customers! All the the people who work there are snooty, rood, and they walk around like they're better than everyone else. Michael Kors' products are clearly garbage and they hire bad and immoral people to work in their stores. I will never spend another dime of my hard earned money on products from this disgraceful company again!!! I am a Coach girl from now on.
