I have been here several time and have yet to walk away unsatisfied (even if I walk out empty handed which is rare). They have a great selection of new as well as used gear. My understanding is that much of the gear is sold on consignment, much of the new stuff that they carry is purchased in bulk at a discount which they then pass on to you. For example I got a brand new REI Flash air pad, wide for $65. I got a brand new SmartWool base layer for $50. And their used gear is priced to move as well. The staff here are super helpful, patient, and will always point you in the right direction even if it's to another store. They clearly live the lifestyle of the products that they sell. I live about 2 and 1/2 hours away and if I call they will hold something until the weekend for me if it's what I'm looking for. read more

So much variety. This is a great spot to find some outdoor finds at a discount. Like most stores that sell used items, not everything is a win so keep sifting and you'll end up with some wins. The store is well organized and with a little orientation of the layout by the staff it's pretty manageable. I did find some of the prices a little high but also found some really good deals. Most of the stuff here is hella used and still charge new pricing. Ask John the owner if he could work on the price. He then proceeded to give me a whole story about how it's not winter and what not, I politely asked what he could do and it was nothing. Just wasted my time. The shirt I was looking at was in okay condition but I could buy a brand new one (different color) for the same price. For a used store trying to help the community with used gear THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. I'd try play it again! read more

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. The AC was broken, making the store extremely hot and uncomfortable to shop in. The sales associates were sitting up front in front of a fan talking to each other and didn't greet or acknowledge customers. The prices were also surprisingly high. Many items weren't much cheaper than buying them new, especially if you wait for a sale. Overall, the store didn't feel very welcoming, and the pricing didn't seem to offer much value. read more

Lots of stuff to choose from, rather overpriced for what it is though. Biggest negative is the gatekeeper, an elderly man, probably the owner. As my friend and I entered the store he lectured us, almost accusing us of being shop lifters and vandals. I've never experienced anything like it anywhere. I don't see it as racism or targetting since we are both in our late 50s and white. More likely it was driven by his extreme paranoia or dementia. I won't go back as long as that clown is there. If he's the owner stick him in some back office but DO NOT let him anywhere near a customer. read more

When this store opened, there were a lot of good values, but at this point it's a garage sale with Neiman Marcus prices. Which is absurd, and a level of greed that is just distasteful. If you're looking for something very specific, it might be worthwhile to look, but if you're shopping for a reasonably priced used items in general this is not the place anymore. This is a on consignment, outdoor /sporting goods store. It was absolutely packed with a wide variety of items. We did not find what we were looking for but depending on what someone else's interests maybe it could be a goldmine. They also carried used clothing which I felt was overpriced but again on consignment. So worth a look but you may not have the bargain you are looking for. read more

The place is a bit overwhelming. If you have time to root thru all the stuff you might find a diamond in the rough. All the stuff I saw was fairly old, especially the overpriced bikes. Some decent newer clothing but priced way too high. Maybe it's a good place to try to sell stuff though. Knowing Albuquerque there's some stolen stuff in there too. read more

Good enough stuff--and my remarks are for clothing--but for used clothing far too expensive. It is as if the owner selling on consignment feels they should get 70% of what they paid even though the item is used. A bit precious in my opinion. Most of the stuff I saw is pretty old. If you don't care about quality then go, but if you want stuff that will be good and last, don't go.

I have sold a few items with this store, but decided to stop because my interactions with the owner never last less than 30 minutes, and I don't have that kind of free time. He's a difficult person to interact with. When I tried to get my skis back from him, he could not locate them in his overcrowded store but confirmed he did not sell them yet, so he asked me to email him about them a week later. I did so and waited another 9 days and have gotten no reply from him. Now my $200 skis are lost somewhere in his store and he won't return my messages. read more

While the shopping experience may have been what I was looking for, the gatekeeper at the front of the store was not and I left before he finished his targeted approach to customer service (targeted meaning racially biased). Love this place! It's like a treasure hunt for all your favorite things! Then you walk into the back room, and it's full of bicycles, canoes, skis, and other great stuff! Makes my heart so happy!! EXCELLENT selection of gear! John the owner was nice enough however, i feel so bad for anyone that is not Vaxxed to enter this store. We however, walked in masked and having been vaxxed were so put off by how they are so afraid of people. You will be treated like you are a diseased animal. The blonde who greeted us, ruined the experience. I bought a $42 bag that was upfront before they found us to give us the required tour in order to shop there because they did not want us spreading disease, and would have bought much more but when I listened to the lecture on how people touching things spreads disease it just made me want to puke and especially when I saw the blonde take off her mask in the store. John actually said " The UNVAXXED are holding us hostage". Does he want them to wear a gold star? If any business is so afraid of people, they should get out of the retail business. Great gear consignment selection and the owner is very nice, patient, and incredibly well informed. Very good prices. The front is all wearable, but he has boats, bikes, skis, etc in the back as well. We were debating between here and REI because they closed at the same tonight, and we definitely made the right choice. I don't live anywhere near here but I will definitely be returning. read more

I called to see if they were still open since it was almost 5:30 on NYE. The guy asked me my name and said he'd stay open if we were close. I told him not to but that I'd swing by and if I missed him I'd stop by next week. He was still closing up shop and invited us in, knew who I was immediately and insisted on giving my man and I a tour. Such a cool shop! So many great finds tucked in every inch of the store, I walked away with ski poles and snowboarding pants (which he insisted I try on in the changing room even though they were my size: "why take the fun out of it for the sake of a minute?"), but there was so much else I wanted to get a better look at, if time allowed- backpacks, snowboards, hiking boots, outdoor clothes in general, and lots of other random stuff to fulfill wild advebturous dreams. I'll definitely be going back there to trade in some of our gear and upgrade to new stuff we want. What a treasure of a store. read more

This place is like the REI Yard Sale without the crowds! Lots of clothes, shoes, & backpacks as well as bikes, skis, camping and backpacking equipment, and so on. It's a consignment shop, so you can take your old, gently-used gear and clothing to put on sale. The next time you go back, you'll have store credit to pay for your new purchases! The owner is super helpful and knows a lot about the things on sale, and other staff are also helpful and friendly.
