Their craftsmanship was exceptional, and their professionalism was evident from day one. From our first conversation, Jasper took the time to walk us through his portfolio and explain the different types of concrete, which really helped us feel confident in our decisions. We hired Cure-Rite Concrete for two major projects. The first was installing a brand-new three-car driveway with additional sidewalks and replacing the damaged concrete supporting the pillars of our garage apartment. The second project required them to travel nearly 20 miles to my parents' home to replace an aging boardwalk with a slanted cement walkway leading to the entrance, and to bulldoze a 50-year-old cement-and-brick pillar to make room for a small side patio. Their crew worked seamlessly across both properties, and impressively, both projects were completed within a week and done beautifully. We had a few minor hiccups along the way, but Jasper and Cristian were quick to respond and addressed every issue promptly and professionally. If you have a project involving new cement, do yourself a favor and hire Cure-Rite Concrete. In fact, my parents were so pleased with the results that they're planning to hire them again to install a cement back patio, a side patio, and to replace their old two-car driveway. SOOO happy Cristian responded to our review in the manner that he did -- perfectly shows who he and his company is, what they stand for, and what awaits you as a homeowner. 1) Admits that one of HIS EMPLOYEES DID make those promises to us. This is the only reason we decided to move forward with the job -- "nothing will scratch this product". Particularly our dogs and entry foot traffic. If we would've been told that there was ANY risk of scratches, we would've never moved forward and co toned looking for other treatments. We were deceived. 2) "Employee is no longer with us" Just because you fired someone one later, doesn't mean that the promises (lies), and work (mess) they did while representing your company magically go away. It was your employee, working under your name, take accountability, that's business. 3) "Sorry we couldn't keep your dog from scratching your floor" Again, dodging accountability and flipping the blame back to the homeowner. Outrageous statement to make after having admitted that his employee did make promises of "nothing will scratch this product", and us having specifically asked about - dogs, shoes, rocks, and dragging furniture. But what he will tell you now is, "you should've known". As if the homeowner is expected to be the expert. Extremely childish. 4) Despite whatever he may say now, IN WRITING, he agreed to pay back 50% of the job ($2500) over 10 months. And after 5 months, only $200 has been paid. He will dodge every call, every text, and when you do finally reach him, he will LIE and say "oh yes, I'll send it right now" , and then have you start the monthly chase cycle again. He made this agreement himself. Not a former employee. So what's the excuse now? Yet another example of Cristian and his company failing in their promises and commitments.

Review One thing…read morethat has been bothering us for almost a year is the lack of new growth with our 2 sago palms due to the aggressive frond defoliation done by Leo (Owner) and (his son) Oscar. One saga palm is over 50 years old and the other is approximately 25 years old. Both sago palms have been through hard weather and freeze then recovered with nice new growth. However, there has been zero new growth. Mistakes Made Defoliating Sago Plants * Removing all the fronds from a sago palm seriously harmed the palms. * The sago palms lost the ability to photosynthesize, so they can't produce food. * No new fronds for 11+ months Mulching Done Wrong * Doing mulch wrong can absolutely kill plants. * The most common mistake is "volcano mulching" piling mulch against tree trunks or plant stems--which traps moisture, rots the bark, and invites pests. My husband noticed this volcano-like mounds around both sago palms. No Solutions Offered * Email sent with photos * Phone calls made * One phone call to Stanley seemed promising then radio silence. * No offer for replacement * No offer to remove the sago palms. * Safe Disposal Warning * Extreme Toxicity: Sago palms contain cycasin, a potent toxin that is deadly to dogs, cats, and horses. * Safe Handling: Wear heavy work gloves and long sleeves.
