The manager a blond woman was extremely rude about re-making my $80 to-go order after it had been sitting there for 20 minutes. We arrived at the time they instructed only to have the to go server tell us it had already been sitting there for 20 minutes. When I spoke to the manager she was very stand-off ish and looked like she didn't even want to give us the time of day. She walked away rudely and made a hand gesture in which the host who was witnessing giggled a bit and I saw the host speak to a server about how the manager treated us and they looked my direction and laughed as well. My lady and I chose this restaurant yesterday evening. This was our first visit and we were pleased with our choice. The restaurant was clean and comfortable with a pleasant atmosphere. Our server, Tim, did an excellent job and we appreciated Stephanie and another gentleman for dropping by to insure all was well. The filet mignon I ordered was a good cut and perfectly prepared. What an absolute breath of fresh air as for customer service! Wow!!! I absolutely cannot say enough about our server Seraphin!!!! The wait was a little long but man Seraphin was amazing! He was informative, knew what the menu items were and he had a GREAT personality! I went expecting to get the Drover's Platter (Chicken and Ribs combo) but it was no longer on the menu... talk about being thrown for a loop. So I went with this new Sirloin sandwich on focaccia bread. Wow... was it good! Interestingly, its not even listed on their website... so it must be a really new item. Who would of thought I could get out of Outback ordering something less than $10 that was both delicious and filling. The waitress was also good and the service was prompt with no problems. However, the Ice Tea didn't taste quite right... so only 4 out of 5 stars. I defiantly recommend that you check out this sandwich! Oh, I had the fries substituted with garlic mashed potatoes... they were quite good and in my mind healthier than eating fries... but that of course is debatable! read more

We ordered the blooming onion and we both ordered sirloin steaks. Blooming onion and salads were perfect. Both of our steaks had so much gristle I stopped eating it after 3 bites and refused to swallow any of it. We both experienced the same bad steak and complained. We ate about 1/4 of our steaks. The manager came by and said he would make it right. I was expecting new steaks but the next thing I know he removed the charge for the steak and gave me my bill. I really should have reviewed this place sooner as lately I have been coming here often. I don't think I have ever stepped foot in this place but it's not necessary as you can order online, pay online, and pull up in the curbside parking lot and have your food brought to you ;) Usually I order the macaroni and cheese from here and the chocolate thunder (interesting enough name) dessert which features a pecan studded brownie with ice cream, fudge, and whipped cream. Oh, so decadent. The macaroni and cheese is so so good! It's cavatappi pasta in grown up cheese sauce with garlicky bread crumbs on top. The sauce tastes as if it has some garlic in it as well. Once in a while I will order protein and their chicken wings are good if they are spicy and not breaded. They are small but tasty! They are nice enough to give you the fresh bread they serve when you dine in and often put it in even if you choose to not have it as it just ends up in the trash. Staff is friendly and this place is always packed so that is a good testament to their food and service. Will definitely be back ( maybe tomorrow). read more

impeccable service! This is one of many new restaurants popping up in the Pasadena area and they are really making their mark. The staff was quick and accommodating. My grandma wasn't satisfied with her prime rib so the manager was super nice and offered free dessert. The Chocolate Thunder from Down Under is a MUST if you're splurging on a treat! I have used the take out service many times due to my schedule. I have found the waiter person to be prompt, knowledgeable of the menu, helpful, and efficient. My order has always been correct. The waiter suggests potato fixings, seasonings and steak doneness. When dining inside I expect things to slow down some because of sharing a waitress with other diners an overall casualness. Eating at the bar is nearly as fast as take out. All in all this Outback is great. I wish they were open for lunch every day. GOOD JOB MATE! read more

Everytime I go to Outback Steakhouse the food is delicious. This time my experience has probably been one of the best Outback experiences yet. Our server Chris was very friendly very helpful he knew what we needed before we asked. He also recommended the watermelon margarita which was very good ! Good job Chris! Today was Monday Bloomin Monday where you get a free onion ring Bloomer if you ask. Their ribeye steak was amazing very flavorful very juicy. The loaded baked potatoes are to die for. I've not eaten at an outbacks in a very long time, but I got a gift card for Xmas and was in the area of this location. After looking online at the menu, I placed a Togo order the 2 things I wanted were not even available anymore so I ordered what I was originally going to get off the menu which came out to be twice as much as the special. I ordered he potato soup would have been very good but someone got very carried away with the salt and I had to stop eating it after few bits. Main dish I got a filet that was cooked liked I asked but needed a touch more seasoning. Steak alone would have gotten 5* the sides were good. I ordered the Mac n cheese and was told they didn't have Mac n cheese but they did have steakhouse Mac n cheese ‍ the steakhouse Mac in cheese has more pepper in it I guess still the same thing lol. I got the peanut butter moose cake that was over powered by chocolate and I couldn't tell it had any peanut butter in it at all. The curbside Togo is in the back of the store which they should tell you on the phone but after I found it and parked I was promptly waited on and food delivered to the car. As far as casual Steak House chains go, I used to think Outback was premier right in front of Saltgrass. I'm afraid Saltgrass has since surpassed Outback. The portions are small here and the rewards program is complicated unlike Landry's select. Service is hit or miss at this location. On the night we went, our waiter was not attentive and to add insult to injury, I got home to discover he had given us the wrong desert to go. This was in addition to the poor presentation of the food which came to our table in a crumpled up paper bag. I called the manager who identified herself as Courtney to voice my complaint, she offered to send me a desert voucher since I was not close to the restaurant. We will see if it comes....*update* 7 days later and no voucher. Obviously customer service is not a priority for this Outback. I'll think twice before returning to Outback. read more

Maybe it's cause I'm use to eating really good steaks at steakhouses but they were ok here. The seasoning at Outback is average and, while they cook the steak well, the cuts tend to be what you should expect. Pluses: If you want a decent steak without having to dress up, good place. Good for kids and they have an alternate menu for them. You don't have to make reservations like some high-end steakhouses. Very convenient for family settings. Staff seemed to be younger and cooler. I'm sure I could score some good stuff if I was a user. Minuses: Steaks aren't on the greatest cuts but for what you pay, its to be expected. Overall, I would recommend it if you're craving steak but don't want to get fancied up or spend over $100. read more

I their knives which are sharpen serrated and cut the meat perfectly. and at this location the quality of the meet is excellent, so trying to cut a wonderful piece if meat with a dull kitchen knife could ruin he great steak you ordered. Had my first experience at Outback Steakhouse today, honestly, It wasn't horrible I felt like I was going to have a mediocre experience with a mediocre meal but it was pretty good. I ordered an 8oz Sirloin and it did not feel like I was chewing rubber, of course the quality of the meat wasn't up to par with "Steakhouse" printed on the title but it was still pretty good. The server was great, wish I would've gotten his name though, he was working in the bar area and commented that he'd been there for about 8 years, so just ask for the guy with 8 years experience under his belt when you go. I work about 2 miles from here and I'll be returning more regularly, I was on lunch so didn't get to try out the drinks since I was coming back to work. Maybe next time. read more

The french onion soup. It was good. Actually better than good considering this is a chain. The flavor was excellent, however too heavy a hand with the salt...WOW ! Iceberg wedge was very good also. Prime rib was cooked like a steak, not like a juicy prime rib should have been...tended and "romanced". My wife had the pork medallions and they very very good. We'll be back. The steak is well seasoned, the drinks are usually tasty, and the salad is crisp and fresh. They have the BEST grilled veggies (you have to ask for them). But, they get the steak wrong about half of the time (usually overcooked). Despite that, we keep going back. And, I have to say, they do try to make it right if you just let them know it wasn't cooked correctly. So, I guess I might recommend, and I might return. read more

This review is based on two things.... service and food. Lets start with service - waiter with no personality always kills me softly btw- ok onto it the waiter took our ordered he wasn't even paying attention and asked me several times what it was i ordered. He never asked to refill my kids glasses either and when he filled my water he asked me to pass it to him "can you just pass me your glass please" (now to point out that he could get to my glass very easy) It was just weird i have never experienced that before. Food... ok first and foremost it literally took us 50 min to get our food and when the waiter came and told us he was just waiting on the vegetables i was floored (50 min for steamed veggies?) well the food came out and ill start with my kids meals where i ordered them grilled chicken - PAINFULLY dry. My salmon was over cooked but good news (and i know a little cray cray) i like my salmon a little on the well side. The other dish was a 8oz steak that was on the lunch menu (they do have a lunch menu for sunday) i didn't try it but asked how it was and the response i got was 8.00 steak. The whole experience was painful with less than mediocre food and horrible service i will not be going here again (now i remember why its been years since i have been to an Outback) *Edited to add... the entire time that we where there ( approximately hour and half) they left two tables dirty from previous customers that had finished and left. read more

Very consistent. You always know what you're going to get--a terrible experience. I applaud them for being consistently awful. That's not an easy feat, but they have mastered it. I literally found a piece of metal from the metal cleaning pad they use wrapped around one of my tenderloin steak pieces (I ordered the filet medallions or something along those lines). The manager was kind enough to take care of the bill (as she should have), but still. We came for their Superbowl lunch special on Saturday. It was basically BOGO. Surprisingly, from all the reviews we read, we actually received good service. Our drinks were refilled constantly, we were checked on frequently and our plates were cleared every single visit. We started off with the small order of Aussie Cheese Fries. Talk about humongous! I asked the waiter if it was a mix up because the small order was big enough for four people to share with. He said it was correct. They were very generous with the cheese and bacon portion. The consistency of the appetizer was outstanding. I can shower in this! By the time our entree came out we nearly keeled over from the pile of potatoes and cheese. I ordered the Filet Focaccia Sandwich, which came with fries. Yes, what was I thinking? The breading of the sandwich was crispy and had very little grease. The Au Jus dipping sauce was not over powering and paired well with it. The meat and cheese appeared to be small in portion, but the entire entree was filling. My friend had ordered the Fresh Tilapia with Pure Lump Crab Meat. The fish was not dry or rubbery, leaving a very clean finish with every bite. Again, they were very generous with the lump crab meat and the assortment of vegetables for the entree were very fresh. Overall, highly impressed with the food and service. I plan on getting the fries as a take out order in the future though. read more

Regular at this location. Food never disappoints and the waiters are extremely attentive. In addition, at least every other visit a manager always stops by to ask how the food and service is. My husband always enjoys getting his ribeye and it's always tender and juicy! The wings are also very delicious and a must.
