    Hello Outback and thank you for going back!! It's been a minute but this place did not disappoint!! I ate my sirloin and grilled shrimp. They brought out the old garlic butter with a new flare- amazing. Then the chef came out with a new bleu cheese, bacon, butter for my steak. It was delish but ended up on my baked potato which took my meal to a whole nother dimension!!! Loved every bite. Shout out to Zoe, our professional and attentive bartender!!! Thank you Outback for revitalizing the old and bringing it to the now!

    After reading the negative Yelp reviews at the 113th St Seminole location I decided to try this Largo location instead even though it was twice as far a drive. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to make a difference because I was experiencing the same customer service and food quality issues that were reported at the Seminole location. The blooming onion was overcooked and greasy, and my 8 ounce sirloin steak Had a huge vein in it that I could not cut through with a knife. Our server did her job well enough, but was a little snarky and patronizing. The highlight of the meal was the flight of signature drinks served on a boomerang. The $9.99 flight had 4 glasses each containing 3 ounces of drink, which earned Outback a 3 star review instead of 2 stars.

    Ordered a delivery and the baked potato was outstanding!! However, the ribeye was extremely fatty, tasteless and very disappointing.

    First of all, great pretty waitress named Semina. Awesome service from her. The booth we were sitting at was a little worn, the place probably could benefit from a refurbishment. Ordered the Kingsman steak & shrimp pasta. The shrimp was a little over cooked but tasted good. The steak was exactly how I ordered it and the Alfred pasta was a nice helping but a little on the oily side. I would return again. Ask for Semina!!!

    Received a call and a letter by FedEx today from the managing partner Trevor of Outback and he was so professional, great listener, and very kind regarding our last visit. The follow up was quick and not expected. My husband and we were blown away from the positive response and look forward to our next visit. Thanks for taking the time to call and write us.

    Mistake was suggesting to the Queen Bee to have a nice leisurely lunch out after having a rather stressful morning. We go sit at the bar per usual and eventually Dana acknowledged us and asked for drink order. Then she starts chatting us up like we were longtime friends or something. Starts out with why wifey and I are both wearing NY T-shirts. Then how long have we been here? Dana has been here for X number years, and on and on. I simply looked away and gave monosyllabic answers in the effort to get rid of her. Queen Bee was more polite, so our barkeep lady didn't take the hint. We both chose burger lunches. Queen Bee got Caesar salad and I just unsalted fries. Her salad came out shortly after and burgers around ten or fifteen minutes later. Seemed like a long wait for a couple of damn burgers...We both took one bite. We looked at each other and both of us gave a look to one another like "what's with THIS??" We both reached for the salt and pepper...BLANDEST thing I've bitten into since IDK when. S&P helped a little but not much. Dana asked if it was okay...Queen Bee spoke up and stated how bland they were. Ms Dana offers all kinds of apologies and says we "shoulda said something and I'd have gotten U new ones." She also found how odd our comment was since she often hears "how over seasoned they are." Guess what? If I reach for the salt, then U know it's bland because I simply DO NOT LIKE salt. Dana says she usually gets ribeye or Alice Springs Chicken. Then she asks if I like ribeye. Yes, "which is why we usually have ribeye down the street at Longhorn." Once again Dana offers an apology and says we shoulda said something because "it's YOUR hard earned money." I replied that it was "not worth my while to raise a fuss. It's just a lesson for me to know that I won't return." Do yourselves a favor and if U wanna have lunch at a steak place, avoid this one. Just stay with East Bay Longhorn just off 19. At least they know how to season meat and DON'T have pesky barmaids.

    My colleagues and I ate lunch here today and it was good! Service and atmosphere was great! We had Shrimp Caesar salad, Blooming Chicken w/ baked potato and Lunch Sirloin w/ French Fries. Great stop for lunch!

    Why isn't this place busier? The service was incredible. Katelyn took care of our every need. The food was outstanding - Bloomin' Fried Shrimp Appetizer, salads, entrees. This is not our first time here and it won't be our last. Tonight, 12/6/22, we started with the Bloomin' Fried Shrimp. They came out hot and fresh. So delicious! For an entree, Husband had the small filet with a salad and mashed potatoes. I had the grilled chicken breast with Caesar salad and buttered sweet potato. It was all cooked the way we liked it, hot, tasty, and filling. We will return, and we hope the crowds return, too!

    I've never had a bad steak here! It can be challenging getting in during season, however I love the carrot cake! So it's worth the wait.

    My first visit to Bascom's Chop House was with a group of 4 friends for dinner on a Tuesday around…read more7pm. Making a reservation online a few days ahead was quick and easy. Upon arriving, the parking lot was completely packed, with some guests even parking along the side streets. Thankfully, valet parking was complimentary, which made things much easier. Even with how busy it was, we only waited about 5 minutes before being seated. Once inside, I realized the restaurant is much larger than it initially appears from the outside. One detail that really stood out was the attentiveness of the host staff. Two of my friends were dressed in darker outfits, and the host kindly swapped their white napkins for black ones to better match their clothing. That level of attention to detail was genuinely impressive. Since it was Tuesday, they were running a special on the 38oz tomahawk bone in ribeye, normally $138 but discounted to $108, so naturally that became the centerpiece of the table. We also ordered the wagyu carpaccio, thick cut bacon strips, calamari, and bread service to start. The bread was definitely worthwhile with a nice whipped butter and seasoned olive oil. The bacon was thick with a heavy peppercorn crust and a sweet honey spice flavor that balanced it nicely. The calamari was lightly breaded with smaller pieces, but still enjoyable. Their wine list is presented on a tablet and is absolutely massive. While the selection is impressive, navigating through it can feel a bit clunky and time consuming, especially when trying to narrow something down within a certain price range. Ultimately, the tomahawk steak was the main event. We ordered it medium rare, and to their credit, it was cooked correctly. Unfortunately, it came out a bit lackluster and only lukewarm. We found ourselves adding salt and pepper for extra flavor, and with the air conditioning blasting throughout the dining room, the steak became cold surprisingly fast. There were also several chewy tendon like sections throughout the steak, which took away from the experience even more. While the portion size was solid and the cook temperature was right, it was disappointing that such an expensive steak did not arrive hotter and more refined overall. Overall, I would still consider giving Bascom's another shot because the service and atmosphere were very good. However, if the steak experience falls short again, I will probably stick with places like Bern's or Charley's when I am craving a proper steakhouse dinner.
