Food was good, but experience was ruined by our waitress and manager. We paid with two gift cards and cash and our cash did not appear on our final check and we were overcharged. When trying to resolve the issue, we were forced to wait an additional 30 minutes while the manager tried to figure out how to void the first charge. Staff was dismissive and unapologetic for their mistake. Also, our waitress charged us for an additional item on the menu, admitted to her mistake, but only took the charge off once we said something about it. "Is this yours?" Said the server. Food was great. Service, not so good. They are slow, forgetful, don't check on their tables often enough. We arrived at 6:30p, had to wait 15 minutes for a table. When we were seated I noticed that there were a lot of empty tables and couldn't understand why we had to wait for a table. As the night wore on, I found my answer. It took a good 10 minutes for the waitress to come to our table. When she did, she was friendly. Took our drink orders and came back within a few minutes with them. Although some of the drinks were wrong. She then asked if we'd like some bread. We said yes. The bread they delivered was super crisp. Maybe stale or over heated to the point it was almost burnt.The waitress realized that and quickly ordered more bread which was much better. We then placed our orders. The soup I ordered came out pretty fast, but the entrees took f o r e v e r. I noticed when my soup came, that our whole table didn't have silverware or napkins. We asked three twice before those arrived. Finally, the food arrives. At least we think it's ours, except for the fact that the server says as he holds the tray way over his head, "Uh, Is this yours?" I asked, "Wouldn't that be something you should know before bringing the order out?" He actually had to lower the tray so we could see what was on it and figure out this was out dinner order. WTF?!! Food was actually very good. Waitress didn't check up on us as often as we would have liked. And she seemed a bit overwhelmed. We gave it a second chance. Silly of us. The place was pretty empty. Just another table and us (wow and it's a Friday night!) One would expect to get a good steak! Its Outback! And what else did the chef have to do?! My filet mignon was dry and over cooked! I ordered a medium rare. My fries were crumbs! Crumbs!!! Like from the bottom of a frozen bag left overs! My husband's steak was over cooked as well. He ordered 2 sides of broccoli... the broccoli was just thrown it seems on his plate and the size of it was as if they rescued it from Chernobyl! The wine I ordered should not have been bubbly. Must have be going bad. I specifically asked what brand it was.. i always order it in other restaurants and buy it for the house. The service was so bad it was actually funny. We were seated immediately because the restaurant was nearly empty. We waited for a half an hour and no one even stopped by our table. However, there were at least 3 or 4 different servers and one person who turned out to be the manager walking right by us every couple of minutes. No notice was taken until I put my coat on and told the host we were leaving. He was a nice guy and apologized, he said they were very busy (?!) and offerred to give us a free appetizer. My family convinced me to stay and we sat back down. Our waiter came over right away and was very apologetic. As we waited for our drinks and appetizer, we overheard the people behind us joking about how awful the service was. Drinks, apps, bread and a kids meal were delivered quickly and all was good. Afterward we waited quite some time for our entrees but we were enjoying our conversation. My steak came out with the other entrees and it was very rare, no big deal, this happens sometimes. The waiter offered to take it back to cook it up more. I like a medium rare steak, some places cook more rare than others, it happens, I can go a little more rare, but this was very rare. Now, I can't tell you how long my steak was gone but I'll say it was a noticeable amount if time, my guess is 15 minutes. When it finally came back to the table, it looked the same, I'm telling you, like it hadn't been touched. I tried to say"nevermind, it's alright," but the woman who delivered it this time insisted on making it right and took it back. So, another 15 minutes goes by, I watch my family finish their meals, which they all reported were very good, and I ate some of my baked potato while waiting. The potato was quite good and I didn't want it to get cold. The steak was delivered back with many apologies and an offer to take it off the check, very gracious of them. The final steak was very good, and I ate it while my family ordered dessert and I watched the staff put up the chairs all around us. At this point we had been there more than 2 hours and they were closing up, obviously ready to call it a night (we got there about 5 after 8). I felt surrounded by chair legs and bustle of activity. The desserts, however, were enjoyed, a cheescake and some salted carmel, cookie, ice cream thing, can't go wrong there. We waited a bit again for our boxes (I couldn't finish the 10 oz filet because I was full from the baked potato) and the check. The check arrived and I was amazed. They took almost 55.00 off of our bill. The steak, the apps, the desserts, I didn't have the heart to ask for the veterans discount (which is 15% here by the way). So all in all we had an interesting experience. I'll say that the staff tries hard but falls very short, although they were very nice. It's a chain and I blame the management for a lack of training. The worst part of the experience wasn't the waiting or sending the steak back, it was the cleanup all around us. We didn't come late, they made us late and we should have been able to enjoy our meals without feeling rushed. This is a lack of training and awareness. The food, in the end, was good and in this case a great value! My daughter made me promise to come back again and give it another try. We'll see what happens. read more

My son the lawyer took us to a pricey Doylestown steakhouse that I won't name. It's new, trendy, full of poseurs, and frankly, for whatever reason, my son loves to pay more. Much more. We went to Outback for the first time in over 2 years (from the COVID pandemic). It was so nice to be out at a restaurant again! It was also our anniversary and we went for a dinner with our best friend. The three of us ordered steaks. Our waitress was friendly and amazing and the woman who brought out our appetizer (who doesnt love the blooming onions!) was so friendly and all smiles. The place is under construction/outdoor removation and it looks just awful, but inside Kiersten treated us well and the basic food was about the best I havve ever had at an Outback (I am not a fan). Luckily I don't frequent outback. My friends and I decided to go around 7:30-8 on a friday night. The teenage hostesses said they were just cleaning off a table for us, and would seat us any second. Well, they ended up (somehow) forgetting to seat us and we eventually got our table. Havnt been here in years, and it appears they got a new menu. I don't like steak so i opted to get a burger instead. I upgraded to a "grass-fed" patty for an upcharge. I'm not sure what's so special about it? It still tasted like a frozen regular patty. You would think that a restaurant with steakhouse in the name would mean that their steaks are fabulous. This was not the case however. I ordered mine medium well and my mum ordered hers medium rare and both of ours were very chewy and tough. I would not order a steak from there again. That is my only complaint. The rest of the meal was delicious. I also had mashed potatoes, asparagus and mushrooms which were perfect. My dad got the salmon and enjoyed it immensely. Used the new click thru seating. Arrived ten minutes ahead of the scheduled time. TOTALLY USELESS. Arrived to find we would still have a half hour wait. All it appears to be is marketing ploy to get your personal information. So now we stand here in a restaurant that twenty minutes ago had no wait according to their website, waiting with two young kids and no place to sit or stand out of the way waiting for a table that has no shorter wait than others waling in the door behind us. Worthless. After we were seated and ordered, I was told the special I oredered (prime rib and lobster tail) was no longer being offered and would be $5 additional. Waitress could not offer any explanantion as to what changed between the time I ordered and when she came back to inform us.Not Happy at all with this visit. This had to be the worse meal I have had! We were a party of seven and seating accommodations were limited due to Covid which was fine. We got our drinks and it was like drinking a fruit juice. I really do not think there was any alcohol in any of the drinks. We got a bloom onion as an appetizer which was over cooked and barely edible. The Only side vegetables was broccoli. The salad which was a substitute for broccoli was an up charge. When a guest said they really didn't like broccoli, the waiter did not offer her the substitution of a salad or soup. It was only after everyone ordered that she changed her side to a house salad but received a Cesar salad. Then I got my steak. I ordered it medium. Medium is pink in the center. My steak was grey and overcooked. I brought it to the attention of the waiter and it was replaced by a steak the was medium well, the edges fire burned, not even a good flavor. A good bone in rib-eye does not to be seasoned but this steak, both steaks, had little flavor. The other steaks in our party were ok but they said had no flavor and were fatty. When we were done our meal, the waiter asked us if we wanted dessert. He didn't make suggestions or offer a dessert menu. He just handed us a check for $300. I'll stick to Longhorns or Texas Roadhouse or my own backyard grill for a good steak! read more

Extremely unprofessional and zero customer services. My family came in for my mothers birthday dinner. We were told at the door when we checked "7 and a baby" that it would be about 35 mins... so we sat very patiently for our names to be called... 40 mins later our name was called and as we walked up, the hostess says to us "oh we thought it was 7 including the baby" the table that they made for us would not be able to fit 7 and a baby. They said they needed to re check us in. So again we sat for another 50 mins. (A total of 90mins we sat) This was completely unacceptable, at no point did they touch base with us. Every 15-20 mins we had to check in with them' why we were still waiting. They offered no compensation, no I'm sorry. Have been going here for years. Will Never Ever come back to this location. If you have a party of 5 or more do not come to this location you will be incredibly disappointed!!! *****UPDATE***** (changed from 1 star to 3 stars) At the end of the dinner I requested to speak with the restaurant manager and explained the situation. I feel the restaurant manager was sincere with his apology. After speaking with him he asked for our check and took of 50% off (which is well more then anything we expected). He also gave us his card and welcomed us back, letting us know the ask for him next time we come in. He made sure to keep our future business. The reason I gave this place 5 star instead of 4 is because of their effort to make 'my wish comes true'... My whole family decided to visit this Outback because we haven't been here in a while. I ordered a medium-rare primerib. The waitress came back 10 minutes later and said they ran out of 'medium rare' cut. The bartender/waitress was by far more concerned with her stellar and groovey comments from the 1950s then with actually serving her customers an hour and a half we get our meal and it's nothing but fat on the plate we sent it back and left and went to a great restaurant called Kc Prime on 611. Don't order the moonshine jug's there's no booze in it whatsoever for $15 it's a joke The dessert apple pie with ice cream looks delicious on the menu but for $10 you get one golf ball size piece of ice cream and the apples are hard as a rock so if you can't chew don't get it Other than not I think everything was fine Why do we do this to ourselves were here over a half hour and still cannot place our order. Worst service I had to beg to place our order. This place used to be ok. Not sure what happened but over time it got worse and worse. The food was hit or miss the last few times we were there (things forgotten or orders being just flat out wrong). The last time (and the final straw for me) I went in there it smelled terrible. It reeked of chemicals and perhaps sewage? Hard to place it exactly. But either way, my family and I completely lost our appetites after going and couldn't eat. This place was good! We came in for my Grandfathers 80th birthday. We did call ahead seating, so they were prepared for our large group upon arrival. We asked for three high chairs, which weren't brought over until we asked again. My major gripe with this place- they lack the room for large parties or anyone over 4. Their booths are fine, but they literally smoosh tables together so no matter where you're sitting, you're on top of the person you're sitting next to. I'm here for a dinner, not to hear what every person around me is talking about. Anyway. Our server was good, however drinks from the bar were really really weak. It was basically coke with a splash of whiskey. You could drink 15 of them and just have a sugar buzz. Literally no alcohol and for the price you pay for the drinks, they should be stronger. Just left up to having dinner there and I could not believe the portion sizes are so small, and even the plates have gotten smaller, and the prices have stayed the same or gotten higher? I got the chicken and rib combo and could not believe the portion sizes. Good thing I wasn't a man, or I would've been so incredibly disappointed, but thankfully the sweet potato was a little bit big, so it helped fill out the plate. Very, very disappointed. The blooming onion is smaller, everyone commented about their portions being small. The only one that wasn't is the crabcakes, but why am I going to steak place to get a crabcake? We used to love this place, but lately, it's not worth the price. Bring back the portion sizes or make the price more reasonable. Not sure if I'm going back, anytime soon. read more

The bad reviews are true. Was originally told 25 minute wait. Then it turned into 45 minutes. When we told them we were told a 25 minute wait, they were like, Well it's 45 minutes now. Watched several families leave. Then we started to notice others that came in after us were getting seated, went to the hostess area and found out they never put us into the wait system. So the device that they gave us to let us know when our table would be ready was basically useless. Asked to see the manager. At first they just wanted to seat us right away. After waiting for about 15 minutes for the manager to show up, she wanted to know what could be done to make it right. At this point we said nothing and we left. The problem is there is no adult supervision. Even the manager was a kid. Don't waste your time going here. Our total wait time was 1 hour and 10 minutes. This place is the worst. read more

The Outback in Jamison is always busy. That puzzles me. It's certainly not because of the uncoordinated service there. Tonight I had everything surrounding my food go wrong. The room was ice cold; the table lacked cutlery; the coffee had no creamers; my entree had two potatoes and my wife's had none. The food? The coconut shrimp were not very large, but okay. My Outback Special steak was a shrunken morsel of its original serving size a few years back, but done exactly as ordered. The potatoes were encrusted with salt to an extreme with mini-monkey cups holding minimal "fixings." The chopped blue cheese pecan salad was ice cold (as I said, the room was ice cold) totally lacking in pecans but instead had Asian noodles for crunch. Did they run out of nuts? Or are they just cheaper? Australia is on the Pacific Rim, correct? read more
