I heard that Outback had a good lunch deal, so I decided to stop by. It has been a very long time since I've been to Outback. The decor is exactly as I remembered. I loved the Australian vibes it gives off with all the wood furnishings and stuff on the walls. I was immediately greeted and seated, and my server, Kristin, was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and attentive, helped explain the confusing lunch special breakdown, and made sure my water was also topped and showed me I could easily order my 2nd round of the Smoked Old Fashioned right there using that little table kiosk. Sweet! Before taking my order, Kristin dropped off the warm pumpernickel bread and butter. Yum! What a great way to start off my meal. I opted to order the 5 oz sirloin, medium rare, with a loaded baked potato, and let me tell you... it was absolute perfection! Outback knows how to do their steaks; don't let the 'chain' brand ruin your perspective. Give it a shot! I felt like the lunch special was of great value. I hadn't been to Outback Steakhouse in more than a decade, but I recently came here with my family of nine. The service was great, and our server was very attentive throughout the meal. The menu can feel a little overwhelming because there are so many options. Our favorite appetizers were the buffalo wings, which had a nice kick, and the Bloomin' Onion. The onion was flavorful and well-seasoned, definitely on the salty side but I can see why it's a crowd favorite! The ribs were incredibly soft and tender. The steak was less impressive for me; we ordered the sirloin, and it was a little tough. I did really enjoy the mac and cheese, which is offered as a premium side. The dessert cake was huge and could easily be shared by several people. They also have a cool deal that lets you add a $10 meal to go with each entrée. I have always loved Outback. We were so sad when the one in Irvine closed down. We visited the one in Foothill Ranch today and were excited to try the classics. Service 10/10. Our server was so great and wore many hats. He was the greeter at the front door and our server. He always checked on how we were doing and was on top of getting our food, drinks, and condiments out quickly. He was great and so sweet. Food 6/10. My drank was good! Not super strong, but it tasted delicious. The bloomin onion, salad, and baked potato were all great as always. I always looooove me a bloomin onion! I ordered the Ribeye steak and it was just okay. It was a little dry and the taste was a bit off. The steak wasn't very enjoyable but the rest of it was :) The inside was clean, organized, and a good vibe. There was lots of seating! This location is in the Foothill Towne Center but quite hidden and tucked in the corner by Hoag. Just thought we'd try this for a date night. It's been years since we both had Outback so why not. Bread and butter on the house and of course, we had to get the blooming onion & mac n' cheese bites for starters. Can't go wrong with those. Then for mains? My company is nearby, so I sometimes order delivery from Outback Steakhouse for lunch with my coworkers. One thing I found disappointing, however, was that because it's delivery, the food often arrives cold. So, wanting a freshly cooked, warm steak, I visited Outback Steakhouse with my coworkers and had steak and other appetizers. Honestly, aside from the fact that the food was warm, my overall experience wasn't great. We came to this location to celebrate my high school graduation for lunch after the ceremony, expecting a special and enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, yet service was extremely slow. After being seated, our server immediately asked for our drink orders but took about 10 minutes to bring them out. It then took another 10-15 minutes before he returned to take our food order. Once the order was placed, we didn't see him again until the food arrived roughly 30 minutes later. Throughout the meal, service continued to be poor. Refills took a long time, and it was difficult to get the server's attention when we needed something. To make matters worse, the Chicken Barbie dish was not marked as spicy on the menu. When we specifically asked whether it was spicy, we were told it was simply "seasoned." However, the dish was definitely spicy enough that it should be accurately described when customers ask about it. At the end of the meal, I asked for a Coke refill with the check. They did provide a to-go cup, which I appreciated, but it wasn't enough to make up for the overall experience. This was not the level of service I expected, especially for a graduation celebration. For years this place has had an awful smell, it's getting worse. Dined Saturday before Mother's Day. Bad sewage smell like always when you walk in. Worse in the restrooms. Almost every stall had clogged toilets. This makes me question if the drains are clear in the kitchen? My husband and I went to this Outback for date night. Last time I went to Outback was years ago. It was a great date night. Our waitress (unfortunately I don't remember her name) was very courteous giving us time to look over the menu, serving us additional bread, and checking up on us at appropriate times. Waitress sat us down, ordered our food we waited over half an hour for the food to arrive. Bread was stale nobody checked on us. Too bad service was very slow food wasn't that great. Went to this Outback with my brother last night (9/10/25) for dinner, as soon as we walked through the door we noticed a very foul smell coming from somewhere within the restaurant. We were seated at a table and the smell wasn't as noticeable as it was at first but it was definitely still there, we thought that maybe if we moved tables that the smell would go away however when we did move tables the smell was actually worse I believe it was coming from one of the restrooms. We wound up moving back to our original table because the smell wasn't as bad there. We did notice that when we told our waiter we would be moving back to our original table he didn't offer to help bring our plates, drinks, and silverware back with us (he wasn't bringing any food to any tables at the time or clearing a table) so we had to bring it back ourselves which I think he should have offered to help us with. The food itself was fine and we had no issue the main issue we had was with the smell, it was pretty nasty and unfortunately ruined the experience for us a bit. It took a while for someone to come over to take our order and another while for food to come which is surprising given that there were only like 5 other tables occupied. For food, we ordered a house salad, Caesar salad, chimichurri steak, chicken fingers with broccoli, brussel sprouts, and a sweet potato. First off, the chimichurri steak did not look like the picture at all, it was about half the size of what the picture made it look like. Super expensive for what it was. The steak was just ok. The chimichurri though was excellent. Chicken fingers were 19$ and came with only 4 pieces, although it was good, not too much breading. Broccoli side was good. Brussel sprouts were super oily. Fries were good. Sweet Potato was not good at all. Our server was great though. He was very attentive and catered to our 2 year old and brought her toys. If the review was purely for our server. On the positive side, our waitress was good and the side salad was tasty. On the negative side, the rest of the food wasn't very good. The largest disappointment was the coconut shrimp. You could not taste the coconut at all - it was flavorless - but it did taste like it had been fried in old cooking oil. The shrimp were super tiny, but the breading was basically double the size of the actual shrimp. When you have that much breading, and fry it in bad oil, the result is not good. One of my dinner companions had to send her meal back to be re-done as her meat wasn't cooked enough. Also on the negative side, long wait - 40 min - although it was a Friday night so maybe expected. Lots of kids and families. VERY, VERY noisy. Hard to have a conversation. Have no desire to come back. Bad experience last time I was here too, unfortunately. read more

So we took my Son here. We have gone to this location many times and it has generally been fine. However, this time we went during a holiday rush. The waiters seem to be lightly trained, probably because they need extra people, but at the same time, this was an unusually unpleasant experience for us. My wife and I have three children. Including the son with autism, and a hair was found by him and his onion soup. I didn't ask for credit I just asked for some ice cream, however, this event led to my son, refusing to eat his prime rib dinner at all. And so essentially we lost $50 because when you've refrigerate outback prime rib tastes like, well kind of like shoe leather. I guess I don't know it's not very pleasant. So we ended up paying for the steak that we threw away. My wife stayed and I brought the kids out to the minivan and she got some things reduced, but this is the sort of thing where a waiter should go to their manager and discuss it with them and I think this particular waiter was just too overwhelmed to do that or didn't care. In any case I don't care to go back there I'm done. Update; since they have reached out to me, I have changed my review to be in the middle because they are trying to customer service and I have to respect them. However, I don't have a way to contact them so that's kind of irritating. They told me to reach out without giving me any modality of contact so now I gotta deal with that. read more

We made a reservation for a party of 4 in a booth for my birthday (the day before). When we arrived, our greeter was shocked that we wanted a booth and acted like it was a nuisance to do so. Food tasted okay. It wasn't as good as expected, especially for the price. My steak and lobster meal was not served with melted butter as were our other plates. Our baked potatoes were very hard. Expected the restaurant to be higher end looking, but had the atmosphere as any other restaurant/kind of bar-like. I went for my birthday and received an ice cream sundae, but no one sang happy birthday like they did at other tables when we were there. I recommend getting the app ahead of time so you can get a free bloomin onion coupon. The blooming onion appetizer is amazing! I wish they gave more dipping sauce with it though. Service was okay. But the main reason for the two stars was the men's room. It was extremely dirty and unsanitary. Urinal bowels looked liked fecal matter with dirt and dust all over, only one soap dispenser worked and huge swaths of concrete showing on floor. Where do I even start? I live in Temecula and our outback closed down. I happened to be in the area today when I noticed the Outback Steakhouse here. Originally, I wasn't going to come due to the 3 star reviews, but oh my goodness am I glad that I did. The food and service were phenomenal. Our waiter Jaiden was kind, speedy, and on top of everything. The manager Albert checked in on us a few times to make sure everything was going smoothly as well. The ambience was comfortable and inviting. I got the blooming chicken and it was DELICIOUS. The chicken was soft, tender, yet perfectly crispy. My boyfriend and I have been talking about Outback Steakhouse a ton so it was time to finally go! It's been years for both him and myself so we were both excited to go. Our recent visit to this location was overall a let down. I'll start by saying the location itself is fine and decently maintained, but our core issue was mostly with the food and service. Our server was friendly, but unfortunately not great at the job. She was constantly forgetting things and mixing up our orders. Our food was mediocre at best, with the steaks being improperly cooked and bland, and the baked potato soup being watery and foul tasting. Only thing keeping it from a 1 star rating is the Bloomin' Onion, which is still how I remember it. Overall, for the price and what you get, Outback really isn't worth it anymore. read more
