Good afternoon, My husband and I stopped here for lunch this afternoon. The food was good per usual, however, we were both quite disenchanted with the service. Ms. Denise was our server and did not meet our needs. Initially, your restaurant was out of Coke, which she wasn't aware of. Then we ordered a bloomin onion and our meals. We received all of our food except the bloomin onion. Upon receiving our main course, I brought it up to the nice person who ran our food that the bloomin onion never came. She indicated she would check with Ms. Denise. Approximately 10 minutes later Ms. Denise said that the restaurant would pay for our bloomin onion as it wasn't ready before our main course came out. I then requested some bloomin onion sauce for my burger which took her another 10 minutes to bring out. Then approximately another 10 min after that the bloomin onion came out. She then asked what kind of cheesecake topping I wanted to go as we asked for boxes so I'm thinking she assumed i had planned on taking that to go as well. Upon her bringing out boxes, she promptly took our bloomin onion sauce, which I planned on putting in the container for our bloomin onion. She never filled my water while we were there or brought out the additional sprite my husband asked for. At the time of payment, she attempted to give herself a 22% tip. I normally have no issue tipping at least 20% when we have good service, but I don't like someone acting as though they are entitled to it or pushing it onto me. It should be noted that there were a couple other tables that she was waiting on. She was very pleasant to them, helpful and doting. However, she treated us as though we weren't there or if we were, we were a thorn in her side. Even when she initially came to our table she was very rushed and not friendly at all. Good as ever! I had the ribeye which has just the right amount of marbeling and seasoning. Perfectly cooked. Crunch salad with fresh veggies and tasty coconut shrimp. Partner has chicken which was flavorful and moist with fries crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Lots of seating and parking. Didn't have to wait to be sat. Granted it was a Thursday. Staff was super friendly and the place was clean and orderly. Bread was warm and fresh and pop was refilled on time. It was a great dinner. Prices were Fair. They also had specials like a 3 course selection for around $22. I would go back for sure. Be sure to sign up for rewards. The food has gotten so much better recently. I mean the last year or so has definitely made me a fan again. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Our waitress and food runners were great. The waitress was also very sufficient even though they were kinda busy. We didn't want for anything at any time. Even the manager seemed to be just as involved and intentional as the rest of the crew in making sure we were satisfied. Ordered a $111 pick up order with four meals. Kingsland Pasta with Steak & Shrimp, medium rare Sirloin & Ribs with fries and salad with ranch , Alice Springs Chicken with rice and macaroni, The Bloomin' Burger with fries. The servings were small, food was cold, the steak was raw, the ribs were tough, didn't get the ranch dressing for the salad, instead of rice they gave us a wilted sweet potato (no one likes sweet potatoes in our house hold), they literally gave us like 15 fries with both meals that fries were ordered with. I called to make a complaint and was transferred to the manager who ended up just refunding $11 of the tip . The order without the tip was $97. Which I find ridiculous that a standard tip of 15% was added to the bill for someone to carry it to your car. Would rather save the money and walk in to get it. The hotess stand was unmanned. When someone came to seat us they didn't seem very enthusiastic about being at work. The waitress was nice and prompt, but the food was not great. My husband's steak was undercooked. My food was cooked to orders but was not very hot. Looking around, there were a lot of empty tables. The atmosphere seemed kind of sad and gloomy, not fun and happy like the commercials show. And it was over $100 for just two of us to eat. Maybe it's management. Maybe they are short staffed. One thing I can say for sure about this place is it's highly over rated. We were so excited to try it for the first time based on what we had heard and seen on tv and in advertisements. First off the place isn't as nice inside as you would think, it has a "chain" feel to it with booths and tables and just not impressive. We placed our order for drinks and waited quite a while for them to come and take our orders. Another long wait and we finally got our appetizer, a bloomin' onion and warm bread. The bread was very good, the bloomin' onion was mushy and way too spicy. After yet another long wait they still hadn't brought our food out. They also didn't bring out my soup. I had to ask three times for it and they finally brought it out - right before our entrees arrived. They forgot my Mac and cheese and we had to ask another three times for that. I finally told them to pack it to go since by that time we were done eating. I also had to ask for my cheesecake or they wouldn't have brought that out either. After a 2 year hiatus, and against my better judgement, I decided to try Outback again ONLY due to the fact that I was given a gift card. Very disappointed - I ordered the Filet/lobster tail combo - the lobster tail appeared to be microwaved - the steak (ordered medium rare) was bland to say the best to be kind. The wedge salad had so much extra sauce, I initially believed it was an ice-cream dessert. The Blooming Onion was overdone and completely full of grease - couldn't even eat it. The restaurant was completely dead - very sad considering that it was a 2 hour wait when it first opened. The only positive thing I will add is the bartender Kai - she was amazing. We ordered our food right away shortly after being seated. Received our salads and bread but after about 20 or 25 minutes of waiting we asked when our Blooming Onion would arrive. We received our steaks and potatoes before the over cooked Blooming Onion finally arrived! My sirloin steak was only warm, not even close to hot. But at least the fries were hot. My medium steak was not juicy at all. Very dry. So long Outback. Plan to only go to Lucky's Steakhouse for better food at lower prices in the future. read more

I went here with my girlfriend today and we were told our table was ready only to have to have multiple people pass by and say, the host will be here shortly!" A server finally sat us and then took our order. Service was good from there but the food was not good. Had early dinner on the 4th of July, we sat at the Bar and Dale was our server. I must say he is the best! He went above and beyond to insure we had a great experience even though they didn't have the Tuna I had originally ordered. Between him and the General manager (I didn't get his name) they are the reason I'll recommend their location to everyone. The food came out perfect and they exemplify what great service looks like! This place is garbage. The waitress used no words was very short and had a attitude. They bought my daughters steak out that was supposed to be cooked medium and it was black as a hockey puck and just as hard. Waitress never offered any refills on our drinks and pretty much avoided us. This isn't the 1st time. I swore a couple years ago I would never frequent this dump again but Texas Roadhouse wasn't opened yet so we tried them out . Nothing changed from the last time. Same bad attitude staff, poor service lousey food. Stay away. Don't waste your time or money. They gave us 2 $10 gift cards that I will most assuredly will never use. Three of us went to outback tonight to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. First off, the girls ordered New York strips. Waitress came back to tell us they only had one. Changed one order to bone in ribeye. Third order was for barbecue ribs. The two steaks arrived and we're not edible, very grizzly and impossible to cut with a serrated knife. The ribs were OK but not very meaty. The next go round of steaks were fillets and they were very lean and tasty. We don't usually eat at outback for this very reason, the steaks just aren't of very high quality. We won't go back that's for sure read more

We had a 6 pm table reservation was sat at 605 no big deal. Didn't see the server for 20 minutes we sat with no drinks. After we ordered are drinks and appetizers only 5 of our 6 drinks showed up. We finally got are food 1 hour after being seated were we found out two 30 dollar steak dinners weren't ever close to being cook to medium both were grey and cooked all the way threw. It took 25 minutes to get 3 drinks from the bar. The waitress said all she could do was give us a free appetizer. We will definitely not be going back to have a horrible 211 dollar meal. read more

Wow! I didn't remember this place being so bad! Painfully slow service and long wait for food. Appetizer, signature blooming onion was terrible, salty , overcooked, well burnt actually and the cooking oil should have been changed days ago. Sent back and waiter agreed it wasn't good. When entrees finally arrived both were well undercooked, medium rare was raw and medium well was better but still for a 30 dollar steak it should be better. Both were grisly . Decent, but nothing that "wows" me. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but I do have relatives from out of town that love this place, so I've had dinner and lunch here a few times now, mostly with them because they prefer traditional steakhouses, even though I don't. You know how it is with family- you kind of acquiesce to their preferences since it isn't an argument worth debating. At any rate, the food here is okay, nothing too special, but not bad, either. It's a steakhouse, so as a more or less vegetarian, there isn't honestly a whole heck of a lot in the way of offerings here that I'm down with, but I always manage to find a decent menu option that fits the bill. We were here again a few weeks ago and I ordered the Alfredo pasta dish, sans shrimp or chicken. It was alright, I've had it once before, but this time it was a big too garlicky for my taste. Seriously, the pasta noodles were fine and the portion size was big enough, but the sauce contained a lot of garlic and while I like it, I don't need much of it on my dish. Still, it was a decent dish, but it would have been better without so much darn garlic. My husband had the Alice Chicken dish and he thought it tasted pretty decent, but the presentation was somewhat unattractive. Nonetheless, he said it was fine and the chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. We ordered a spicy ahi tuna appetizer with dipping sauces to split between us. I'd never had it here before, but it was okay, again nothing that overly impressed me, but it was spicy and the ahi tuna had a nice texture. It wasn't a big appetizer, to be sure, and was only meant to be split between two adults who were already eating some of their complimentary bread while waiting. In other words, you aren't going to leave satiated just eating that appetizer alone. We ordered drinks from the bar, which took much longer hitting the table than they should have, but that's similar to our other dining experiences here. Food and drinks (let alone refills of water or soda) always take longer than you'd expect to arrive. Once again, we had a server in training that evening (this always seems to be the case). He was pleasant, but kinda overwhelmed and kept forgetting to bring out extra bread, the drinks, etc. Our appetizer arrived only moments before our entrees, so something was off somewhere regarding service and communication with the kitchen. We were seated immediately, although they were still in the midst of some major construction, but it took awhile before anyone took our drink orders or brought menus. Again, service seemed to be an issue that plagued our meal most of the evening. We actually had a bevvy of servers doling out dishes and drinks to our table throughout the meal. We barely saw our server and wound up getting the bill from a hostess who was seating guests at a nearby booth. For a local steakhouse, it's fine. The concept is pretty simple and the formula appears to be a successful one in the area, but it just isn't my first choice for dining. Again, the food was fine, but nothing noteworthy, however, the service kinda sucked (yet again). Still, I have no doubts we'll be eating here again in the future. It's a given. read more

Not a very good red meat experience at outback tonight. I mentioned to the wife that I would like steak for dinner and she said she had a $50 gift certificate for outback. We ordered our food, bread was brought to the table way late. The waitress did confess that she had forgotten it. She actually gave us two loaves instead of one, and it was piping hot, so no big deal. The big deal was when we got our steaks. She had ordered a fillet, medium. She got what looked like a very thin sirloin, and it was so well done I can't believe that whoever cooked it allowed it to escape the kitchen. My wife asked her if it was a sirloin and not a filet. She assured us it was a filet, with such a ready-to-go answer, I'm guessing the question had been asked before. I ordered the porterhouse, medium rare, and it was cooked medium well, if not well done. I told the waitress that they had botched our steaks. She did offer to have new steaks cooked, but I'm thinking "by the idiot who sent these two steaks out?" No thanks. So, in summary, they served us a sirloin for the price of a filet, they didn't have croutons for the salads, our steaks were cooked so far from how we ordered them, I'm guessing they had to draft the dishwasher to cook for the night because of the labor shortage. Between the gift certificate and their relatively low prices, we were only out $31 plus tip. However, you will have to drag me in there kicking and screaming before I'll ever eat at one of those places again. read more

We had a group of 15 people there last night for dinner. We arrived at 530 pm and were not sat until almost 7pm. It went downhill from there. The food was great, I really cannot complain on anything I ate. Our waiter was very inexperienced and really should have had another server with him to handle the large group. It took almost an hour to actually get our dinner orders taken. We had to ask several times for lemons for the waters. When our dinners came they came in pieces. Half our group got their dinner 10 minutes before the others. One of the diners ordered medium well steak and received steak very near medium rare. Anyone who had shrimp on the orders were missing them. We asked for A1 and after 10 mins still didnt have it. The manager was walking by, we asked if we could get some plus the orders of shrimp that were supposed to be on several peoples dinners. He barely acknowledged us and walked away. The waiter ended up bringing the A1. 20 mins after our mains were delivered we still didn't the add on shrimp. I once again spoke with the manager and asked him to just cancel it off our orders as we were already done eating. one of the other party members brought it to the attention of the manager that we were done and still didn't have it. The manager didn't care, he walked off without one comment. Other people had ordered dessert, each one had to be returned because the ice cream was completely melted. This place needs to really evaluate their manager and how they handle services. The manager should have been more apologetic and helpful, he also should have immediately stepped in to help the poor waiter who was clearly out of his depth. The food was wonderful but I doubt I will be back after the issues we had. read more

I do not like burnt food so I was interested in the boomerang fondue. Literally, I was brought out orange slices with the peels on them.... WHAT??? A few years I had some really bad experiences with this outback. I had overcooked food and my date had a used piece of salad! Yuck !!!!! Anyways, I went there the other day and I had a much better experience. My tinder date and I were seated right away. We started off with a bloomin onion. It took a long time for them to get it to us because they burned the first one....but the waiter was nice and he gave us our soup first. My dates steak was mostly fat and they don't give you many fries if you order them. But my steak was very good, and the coconut shrimp was great! Went to Outback tonight for dinner. With my husband, daughter, son in law and Grandson. Ryan was our server. We all had steak and all you can eat shrimp. The server never let us run out of shrimp. As soon as he brought out an order . He would put in for another. It had been a while since we all got together. We had like a 2 hour dinner with drinks. And our drinks were kept full.
