I had a 8oz. steak that had soooo many species on it I couldnt eat it, my baked potato was good, my DIL had a ribeye steak that was so dry & over cooked! Her salad was watered down & her ranch dressing didnt taste like ranch at all. My son had shrimp & chicken with creamy pasta, the shrimp STILL had the tails on! Place was at least half empty but the food both nights came out very slowly. Potato soup had an odd unnatural texture, Cesar was mediocre and the grilled chicken was incredibly over seasoned. Update: after 2 years of refusing to eat at this location due to poor service and sub par food, I have to report that my nostalgic love for this restaurant has been renewed! We walked in with 2 hungry toddlers and the hostess, micky, was incredibly patient and kind even bringing our babies a mini koala and shark as toys. Then we were blown away with Milan, our waitress. She was the definition of customer focused service! I always leave feedback when I have poor service and I keep that same energy for the above and beyond service. The food also has improved in quality and taste. My husband ordered the Delmonico steak and I ordered the garlic shrimp and we were both pleased. Great job Outback in having the vision and ability to improve into one of the best restaurants we have in our area now! And Milan, I hope you see this to know YOU are the reason we will be back. I hadn't been to Outback in years until last weekend. While the hostess wasn't very welcoming, the waitress and manager more than made up for it. The waitress was quick, attentive, and friendly, which feels rare in all levels of dining these days. The manager also stopped by multiple times to check on all the tables, which was a nice touch. Went for the Aussie 3 course meal and was very disappointed! 1) time limit on special stops at 7pm (2) you can't get any appetizer on the menu , you have a limited choice,soup,or salad! I asked for no green onions in my potato, I received green onions. I asked for extra cheese and mushrooms, I received neither. On top of all of that I had the Alice springs chicken & steak. My steak was so tough you could not even tear it, and the chicken piece on both of our plates was the size of a tangerine. The waitress was also slow, and really had no clue of what the items consisted of in the restaurant. Even when I had the manager come to our table, not once did he apologize, but only asked "Do you want me to take it off or reorder?" It was already 10 minutes before closing. I did not want anyone spitting in my food because they were mad they had to fix another meal before trying to leave. I LOVE Outback, but will NEVER go back to the Conyers location EVER.
