Wound up here again while working (next time definitely uber eats) The service is still pleasant and friendly. Drinks came reasonably promptly. Place was at least half empty but the food both nights came out very slowly. Potato soup had an odd unnatural texture, Cesar was mediocre and the grilled chicken was incredibly over seasoned. The second night we share an app and stuck with fried stuff, which was ok, except I changed a couple of things on my dinner because of food allergies and they couldn't get it right., I think I'm definitely over outback food for good and will avoid at all costs. I had a horrible experience. When we first got there, there was not alot of people but they informed us the kitchen was backed up and we would have to wait for our food for about an hour. We were ok because we were not in a rush. They sat us with 2 adult menus and 2 kids menu. They did not have crayons for the kids menus so they were left just staring at the menus and wanting to do the activities to keep them occupied. Went to the restroom. Absolutely disgusting. Then ordered my food. Everything I asked not to have on my food, they put it on there. I asked for no tomatoes in my salad, I received tomatoes. I asked for no green onions in my potato, I received green onions. I asked for extra cheese and mushrooms, I received neither. On top of all of that I had the Alice springs chicken & steak. My steak was so tough you could not even tear it, and the chicken piece on both of our plates was the size of a tangerine. The waitress was also slow, and really had no clue of what the items consisted of in the restaurant. Even when I had the manager come to our table, not once did he apologize, but only asked "Do you want me to take it off or reorder?" It was already 10 minutes before closing. I did not want anyone spitting in my food because they were mad they had to fix another meal before trying to leave. I LOVE Outback, but will NEVER go back to the Conyers location EVER. I hadn't been to Outback in years until last weekend. While the hostess wasn't very welcoming, the waitress and manager more than made up for it. The waitress was quick, attentive, and friendly, which feels rare in all levels of dining these days. The manager also stopped by multiple times to check on all the tables, which was a nice touch.
