Went to Conyers for a steak. We ordered and it took SO long for the food to arrive that my friend said, "Let's Leave this is ridiculous!" At that moment the food arrived. I ordered my steak Medium Rare and it was Medium and DRY. I did not take a bite. I asked for the manager who offered to make another steak but I couldn't wait another LONG wait to get a steak when my friend would be done eating. My fiancé had her birthday recently so we tried a different Steakhouse near West Avenue. OMG!! But, Their Carrot Cake I have to say is beyond amazing in my opinion. My son and I visited post Christmas as we were both tired of the heavy holiday food and I had a coupon to redeem. It was quite busy, but we were seated immediately. The complimentary bread was brought out quickly and it was warm and delicious. We split an order of the mild kookaburra wings. The seasoning on the wings was great, but I wish they were fried crispier. My only preference is that it was a bit too peppery. Just a heads up, you it only comes with two skewers for about $8 or $9. I did really enjoy my entree of ribs and chicken with green beans. I especially enjoyed the ribs, as they were flavorful and very tender. In terms of service, it was okay. We dined on a Saturday morning around 11:30 AM, so there were not a lot of people. The restaurant was clean and had good social distancing at around 4:00pm on a Saturday. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. My drink was nice limeade with Rum. Although my wife and I walked in wearing the appropriate PPE and we were greeted by the hostess staff wearing PPE, we were alarmed after being seated the restaurant staff didn't have a care in the world as guest arrived not wearing their own mask and the staff didn't suggest that they do so. Under the current state of our social fabric it's discomforting to see restaurants not willing not enforce the wearing of individual PPE to dine. We sat and ate as we watched consumer after consumer enter the restaurant without wearing their PPE and the staff placing everyone dining at risk by not asking them to wear mask...as they paraded them past those dining without mask. I sat at the end of the bar. You know those wood trays they can offer to make dining at the bar more comfortable? Some kid brought 3 from the kitchen and interrupted the bartender and a waitress who were in the middle of ordering and making a drink order, and he was insistent that the bartender stop what she was doing and take them immediately. He reached high over the waitress' head to pass the trays to the bartender when they began sliding in his hands and the bartender couldn't grab them before they fell onto a bunch of unwashed glassware, which fell to the concrete floor, shattered, and the glass flew everywhere behind the bar and onto the bar, into the ice sinks, and onto my plate. Just one question. Where were the rubber safety mats that belonged on the bar floor? The ones that keep bartenders from slipping and glass from breaking? Never, ever, again. read more

Outback lover....ultimately disappointed. What happened to Outback Steakhouse? For various reasons, a monthly trip to Outback for their Aussie Cheese Fries had been put off for a special occasion. What's more special than New Year's Eve? I decided to order online in order to speed up the process. My order was to be ready in 20-25 minutes. When I got there I went in to pick up my order and was told someone in the back was just finishing getting It ready. It took over an hour to receive, and the order was not only less than lukewarm after the 10 minute drive home, but most everything was overcooked. Those amazing cheese fries that I've been dreaming about for months.... pfft. Overly crispy fries, not a lot of cheese, just not that great. Honestly if I could give my experience at Outback tonight zero stars I would. I experienced horrible customer service tonight at this location. I understand that they were busy due to Father's Day and that they like many other establishments are understaffed. I placed an order and paid for it online with my credit card. I was told my food would be ready at 5:10. I arrive at Outback Conyers at 5:15pm and text my parking space number to the number they provide on their signs. I proceed to wait for at least 20 min and no one comes out to ask me my name or give me any updates on my order. They also don't want you going in the takeout door to check on your order so I just sit and wait. Finally a staff member comes out to bring the car next to me their order so I roll down my window and ask the staff member if he can check on my order. He takes my name but never comes back with my food or updates about my order. I proceed to wait almost 45 minutes after the scheduled pick up time with no food or updates on my order. I called their phone number twice only to get a recording to order online. At this point I decide to walk up to the takeout door to find other customers lined up trying to find out about their food as well. A staff member comes out and I along with the other customers give our names to try to get our orders. When I give my name another customer says your food is sitting here so I look and my food is sitting outside (it's 88 degrees) on a table under a tent all by itself. So I take my food and go to my car. No telling how long it was sitting there in the heat. I get to my car and I am checking the food because I have celiac disease and have to make sure my food is made properly and I get a tap on my car window from a staff member telling me I didn't pay for my food. I said excuse me, but I paid for my food by credit card online here is my email receipt. He barely looks at it while yelling to another staff member across the parking lot asking if I paid for my food then he says oh you're straight, I believe you. I'm like no seriously look right here on the receipt where it says paid. He brushes me off and walks away. The food quality was also subpar tonight as well. It will be awhile before I patronize this restaurant again!! Extremely disappointed!! I am attaching a copy of my paid receipt!! My father is a lawyer and judge in Conyers so I would never think of taking food from a restaurant that I didn't pay for, it's not how I was raised so I find it extremely offensive to not be taken seriously on this matter! Went there for dinner because I heard they have my favorite dish "crab legs"... Well I got exactly what I expected from a steakhouse trying to serve crab legs. They were dry (like they were old), my steak was very juicy and delicious... My boyfriend order ribs with chicken and his plate looked horrible... This was my first time at an Outback in about 10 years. And it was much different than I remembered it to be. In a great way. From the moment we stepped into the door we were greeted. There were many parties waiting to be seated, but service was quick, so we didn't even wait a full 5 minutes before we were seated. Our server Ryan was so nice, as was everyone else we encountered. My food was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed the Chop Steak with garlic potatoes and veggies. Best hands down. Usually veggies are bland and really hard or mushy. These were perfect! For dessert we had the salted caramel cookie with ice cream. Can you say HEAVEN in your mouth? I can. Actually I just did! We even got a free blooming onion! The facility was so nice. Modern and clean without being cliche. I have to make a note about the silverware and glasses used. Sometimes when I go somewhere, their plates, glasses and silverware are all banged up, cloudy and disgusting. But theirs were pristine!
