Very average. First off, if you get a beer, I recommend a bottle. Their taps aren't very clean so the beer is flat. They have consistently decent steak and I've never had it cooked wrong. Had a wonderful experience with good food and great service. Our server, a male with glasses, (sorry I forgot name), had a very positive and cheerful disposition. But not only that he was supporting his fellow coworkers. Asking if they needed help, assisting them. And I overheard him giving some very positive affirmation to one. Working in the restaurant industry I know these other type of people are golden. The kitchen did a good job getting everything perfectly prepared. Ok I don't know if I'm just so used to Texas Roadhouse and Luckys, but this steak was disgusting- zero flavor Did not even have any grill marks on it to show that it was cooked on a grill. It looks like it was flipped on a pan a few times with a splash of oil and butter over it. There is literally no flavor. It came with a smoky butter, which taste like smoke. It was disgusting. I got a lobster tail on the side which tasted fishy. That tells me it was not fresh. The only thing I liked was the mashed potatoes thought I would try outback again, what a waste of $50 Don't waste your time just go to Texas roadhouse or Luckys My steak is always perfect at either of those two places. Ordered Filet - medium rare and after waiting 30 minutes after finishing salad and having to ask "where's our entrees", steak finally came overdone, cold and dry as leather. Mushrooms came as a spilled over mess with exactly 10 tiny mushrooms. Ordered dessert and even that was a mess. Everything we ate was incredibly salty and greasy. The only reason we ate more than a few bites is because we were so hungry when we got there. Went for my birthday with family and it was bad. Service was good but steaks came out undercooked. One in our party got the wrong steak. My meal was chicken and it was very salty. Manager came to "explain" to us we got the right order after their server told us we got the wrong steak too... In the end we left without finishing any of our meals. We had fried mushroom and the triple-dip for apps and everyone had steaks for entree. My NY strip was over salted and i unfortunately was not able to eat it... My wife and I went to Outback in Brighton on Jan18th for our birthdays. Wish I had not picked a chain restaurant to have a good steak. Should have left right out of the gate when we were informed no baked potatoes because the oven died that morn. How are you cooking the damn steaks?? Paid $42 for a bone in rib-eye that have no steak flavor besides the seasonings. I asked for a drizzle of cheese for my broccoli, when my plate arrived the cheese was a stiff lump from sitting for a while. Now to top that off, the bus boy clearing the tables had apparently bathed in his body wash and walked by our table 15 times. I still smelled it on myself when driving home. I mentioned it to the manager,she said she had a sinus problem so she hadn't noticed but the she would the the GM know. Our name was called, then the hostess said, "oops, just kidding" so we sat back down. 5 minutes later another hostess calls our name and again, "oops sorry about that, please sit back down". The waitress seemed nice, got my friends drink order while I decided. I waited...and waited...and waited. I finally get my drink order in, order an appetizer (coconut shrimp) and continue to wait a long time for my drink. My app comes back BEFORE my drink and comes to me burned, which I returned and they did bring me one that was good. Steak was ok once you got past all the fat. The service was sub par, our waitress barely acknowledged us, never asked us if we wanted another drink even when mine was empty and only came to our table once to check on us while we ate. What happened to the good service Outback Brighton used to provide? It seemed like no one knew what the heck was going on there. For the cost of the meal, I won't be back again. Worst Outback I've ever been to! Went on a pretty slow night, place wasn't even half full with people. Our waitress kept forgetting about us and would take forever to come to our table. Once we were seated, we waited 20min a for our waitress to come. Waitresses are complete airheads. Could hear the people in the kitchen yelling/screaming non stop. Ordered our food, when it arrived I was disappointed. I got a porterhouse steak for over $30, the steak was almost nonexistent, 3/4s of it was fat! Ridiculous. Friendly service, fast seating for 2 on a Saturday night. We did not have steak and maybe that was our mistake. The food was mediocre. The bread and butter had no flavor. My Outback burger was cooked exactly as I order, however, it was just a plain burger. I guess I should have tried a specialty burger. The Aussie sampler appetizer was pretty good. The service was mostly great, dont get me wrong. Our server seemed busy and she was training a new server. She greeted us, a party of 5, got our drink and appetizer order. She came back with drinks then asked if we wanted to start with any appetizers. She forgot to put our order in. It happens, she was busy. Half the time we had to ask for refills on water, while the other half of the time she was offering refills on pops that were still mostly full. I think serving lemon slices with every refill of water is a waste as I was the only one out of the 3 water drinkers to use any. The bloomin onion seemed to be lack luster, not very full and the breading was dark. The sauce was yummy as always. The spinach dip was okay, nothing great, and wasn't very hot. Chips were quite salty. I got the bloomin fried chicken sandwich, which has the bloomin onion breading and the sauce. Again, the breading was dark, but definitely was still a good piece of chicken. They make their pickles in house, which are very slightly spicy, but I think they're too thin. Personal preference I guess. My boyfriend got the prime rib sandwich with fries and a cup of potato soup, said it was all quite good. My sister got the chicken tenders with a loaded sweet potato and a bleu cheese pecan chopped salad. Chicken was dark. Salad was great My grandma got a sirloin steak and coconut shrimp, and she said that was very good as well. My mom ordered the pork medallions, but they ran out before our server could put the order in, so she got the drovers ribs and chicken platter instead. She got a bleu cheese pecan chopped salad and a loaded sweet potato. She was sad she didn't get what she wanted but wasn't disappointed by the ribs or chicken. Her salad had about 3 pecan bits on it, compared to my sisters pile of pecans she had. Inconsistent. Our server offered dessert which we didn't take her up on since we were all full. I'm unsure if their fryers need new oil/the bloomin onion breading makes everything else turn dark, but it was the lowest part of our meals, which isn't a big complaint. Not too bad of a visit overall. I don't live in brighton anymore so I'm not sure when I'll be back but I personally didn't have much complaint on my end. read more
