Well I ate my shrimp pre photo, but here is my sirloin and broccoli, loved it.

Dinner on a Monday evening with a co worker. I started with a side salad. Love it ! Cold crispy and fresh. Then I had a sirloin and a side of grilled shrimp, Excellent!!! Loved it. My side of broccoli was delicious also. Coke products...great. Great dinner.

Ok I don't know if I'm just so used to Texas Roadhouse and Luckys, but this steak was disgusting- zero flavor Did not even have any grill marks on it to show that it was cooked on a grill. It looks like it was flipped on a pan a few times with a splash of oil and butter over it. There is literally no flavor. It came with a smoky butter, which taste like smoke. It was disgusting. I got a lobster tail on the side which tasted fishy. That tells me it was not fresh. The only thing I liked was the mashed potatoes thought I would try outback again, what a waste of $50 Don't waste your time just go to Texas roadhouse or Luckys My steak is always perfect at either of those two places. So disappointing. Outback needs to step up their game to compete

10 mushrooms

Terrible experience and won't be back. Ordered Filet - medium rare and after waiting 30 minutes after finishing salad and having to ask "where's our entrees", steak finally came overdone, cold and dry as leather. Mushrooms came as a spilled over mess with exactly 10 tiny mushrooms. Ordered dessert and even that was a mess. Manager comped one of the meals and we used gift cards from our kids but to be honest that wasn't enough to bring us back anytime soon, if ever.

Sat at bar. Luke took care of me. Lunch time Diet Coke , the mix was perfect. Salad starter excellent. Steak and shrimp...excellent

Service was a little slow but we came at a busy time so it was expected. The food was phenomenal, everything was cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend this location!

Great dinner here tonight; excellent and friendly service. Say what you want about chain restaurants, but I've been to fancy steakhouses that overcooked my steaks, but Outback always cooks it perfectly medium! Also, the steamed broccoli was divine, not over cooked. It's been ages, but I'd definitely go back.

Long wait, slow service, poor delivery of food and beverages. Management, kitchen, and server issues. Won't go back.

My husband and I went here today for the first time, to celebrate my birthday, which was a few weeks ago. Our waiter was Mark, and he was very good and attentive. I started with their Strawberry Fields cocktail, one of the seasonal ones, and my husband had the Old Fashioned - we enjoyed both. For our appetizer, we ordered the beef tallow candle... I had had a similar appetizer at Frame in Oak Park a while back, which has now closed, and it was good. I didn't like this one quite as much, but it was still good, and also came with some butter. I had the 8 ounce petite filet and unfortunately this is where I was disappointed - which is especially disappointing because this place is a steakhouse. I thought it was nice and tender, but didn't have much taste. The zip sauce provided with it was very good with it, but I always say that the mark of a good steak is if it doesn't need any sauces to go with it. My husband got the 16 ounce New York strip, and I felt the same way about that steak as well. That being said, we got the Potatoes Romanoff and the Brussels sprouts for our sides and those were both excellent. I would order both again, but the rest of their sides also looked good so I would maybe try something else. The Reserve also excels at customer service. They gave me a really nice candle as a birthday gift, and a card signed by the staff. They also brought out a rather large birthday sundae on the house, with fruit in it, and I was impressed by both of these things... I have never been to a restaurant where they give you a full-size candle for your birthday, as well as dessert! Because of this, I didn't get to see the full dessert menu, but the guests at the table next to us were eyeing the crème brûlée, it seemed. Based on this experience, I would come back here, but I would maybe get different steak or an accompaniment for it - they had seasoned butter add-ons and others, too. Overall, however, it was a very nice night out.

@thefoodie.99 Review - (3/5)…read more We finally made it to The Reserve Steakhouse in downtown Brighton -- a spot that's been on our must-try list for months. Beautiful space, great reputation, and the perfect setting for our long-overdue date night. We booked a reservation online, walked in, and were greeted warmly by the hostess. It was a slow night -- maybe a dozen guests total -- but oddly, we were seated right next to a very loud group of ten. Think "bar crowd energy" in an upscale steakhouse. They were having the time of their lives... just not the kind of vibe you want when you're out for a quiet dinner. Unfortunately, they didn't leave until about 20 minutes before we did, so conversation was basically a shouting match. Now, onto the food -- the part that did shine. Our server Jennifer was friendly but felt a bit ready to wrap up for the night. We started with a glass of Prosecco and hot tea for my wife. The Lobster Cargo stole the show -- buttery, garlicky, and rich, with tender lobster and crisp toast. A must-order appetizer. The Rainbow Carrots with goat cheese fondue and pistachios were flavorful, though they took 15 minutes to arrive after our first course, which felt odd given the simplicity of the dish. For mains, the Roasted Half Chicken was near perfection -- crispy skin, a rich mushroom cream sauce, and easily one of the best chicken dishes we've had (and we've eaten our way around the country). The Maple-Glazed Salmon was another win, with delicate squash, caramelized onion hash, and a Dijon sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The Potatoes Romanoof were the only real food miss -- too heavy on the cheese, too light on the potatoes. We were hoping for more of a smooth potato purée, but it leaned more cheesy casserole. Overall: Great food, lovely location, and an impressive wine and knife club program, but the lack of awareness in seating and atmosphere management really dampened the experience. With a little more attention to guest placement and energy in the room, this could easily be a five-star spot. Would we go back? Yes -- but next time, we'll definitely request a quieter table. AWESOME ! Service over and above what might normally be expected!…read more On April 20 while visiting daughter and grandkids in Brighton, my husband and I wanted to take everyone (daughter, boyfriend, grandson, grandson's girlfriend, granddaughter) out for a nice dinner. We were a little hesitant about finding a restaurant as grandson just started going through the process of determining food sensitivities. My daughter called ahead to check about gluten-free options on the menu as the list of what he can and cannot eat is very limiting at this time and he is still figuring things out which can be rough for a high school senior. We were seated promptly in the front window area and Shannon S. was our server. Now I don't know if Shannon was told to expect us, but she hit the ball out of the proverbial park. Not only did she suggest side options for grandson, but when questions about ingredients were asked that she couldn't answer she went to the kitchen to presumably ask chef--but she came back to the table with answers AND a binder containing all the ingredients for each menu item (no, sorry that has garlic as a seasoning; no sorry that has a sauce with onions; no sorry that has cheese). In the end, grandson was able to choose with confidence side dishes in place of the standard menu options so that his meal wouldn't mess with his digestive system--he became more of an active participant in deciding his dinner--and that his meal was one he really, really, really enjoyed. He was surprised that a restaurant would go to those lengths to help a customer. Brighton Bar and Grill was a favorite spot when husband and I lived in Howell years ago and will definitely come back to the high service and quality food we experienced on this visit.

One suggestion, have you ever considered any kind of sound dampening drapes or pads in the restaurant? We always have great meals but sometimes when you're at full capacity, it can be hard to hear the group or the server without multiple requests to repeat themselves, or a hand wave and a "we'll talk when we're at the car". Thank you Bourbons for giving my husband a fantastic and memorable birthday dinner!! We will definitely be back for more special meals!!!

I like the fact that you can get on the waitlist by using the app, it makes it easier to get a spot in my opinion. Our server on this visit was very friendly and attentive. The food is just OK, nothing super special to brag about for the price. They bring you bread with a cinnamon butter that is good but I don't understand how at a steak house when you order a loaded baked potato it comes to you "lukewarm", it kind of takes the excitement away! My steak was cooked properly or i'd probably give a 3 star, not for the service, but for food quality. Being this is a chain restaurant if you've ever visited one you know what to expect, bright and open this time for the day and can be a little louder then others. But wifey thought the margaritas were outstanding for the price!
