We rescued our dog six years ago, and while she has always been the sweetest companion at home, her…read morereactivity made everyday life incredibly hard. We spent years trying everything you can imagine -- private trainers, group classes, small workshops, different training styles -- and none of it ever really helped. We poured so much time, money, and emotional energy into trying to make things better for her, but we were still stuck. It was heartbreaking. When we found out we'd be moving to the EU, we honestly didn't know how we were going to make it work. The idea of flying with her, or even just navigating a new environment full of dogs, felt completely impossible. We had seen so many positive reviews for Canine Perspectives, but we didn't really understand e-collar training and were nervous about it. Then we talked to Jesse. Within minutes, we felt completely at ease. He explained everything so clearly -- how the e-collar works, why he uses it, what the process would look like -- and we realized we were in the hands of someone who truly knew what he was doing. More importantly, someone who genuinely cared. And the change that followed... I don't think we'll ever fully be able to express how much it meant to us. In just two weeks, Jesse accomplished what years of training never even came close to. Our dog was suddenly able to walk near other dogs without melting down. We weren't tense and on edge every time we left the house. We could actually enjoy taking her out. The relief we felt is something we still get emotional about. It wasn't just her behavior that changed -- our entire lives changed with it. We got our freedom back. We weren't trapped inside or constantly overwhelmed by guilt and stress. And for the first time, we felt like we could truly give her the life she deserved. Her progress was so incredible that we were able to fly with her internationally, something we would've laughed at if you told us a year ago. Now we're living in the EU, surrounded by off-leash dogs and super dog-friendly spaces, and she's able to be part of it all. She comes with us everywhere. She's confident. She's happy. And we're no longer terrified of what every outing will look like. It feels like we have a completely different dog -- or maybe like we finally get to see the version of her we always hoped was possible. None of this would have happened without Jesse. He didn't just help our dog; he gave us our lives back. We are endlessly grateful, and we truly cannot recommend him and Canine Perspectives enough.

We've been going to See Spot Run regularly for a year and a half, after a recommendation from a…read morefriend, and can't say enough good things about it (including the staff!). We utilized their puppy training program after getting our sweet Vizsla, Pepper, and saw an incredible difference after two weeks. They crate trained Pepper and taught her basic manners. Getting to play with other dogs in a controlled environment at such an early age was so important for her development. After she came back from training, we decided to put her in daycare for the winter months. Even though we are a 35-45 minute drive, it was worth it. We loved that they have scheduled play time in small groups, enrichment, and nap breaks for the dogs. We travel a lot and board her anywhere from 4-8 days when we travel. She does great and we have never had any issues in the year and a half of boarding her. It's always been a great experience. It's so comforting knowing she's in a safe and loving environment. We order training sessions while she's there. Typically Pepper wants to be around us all the time, but when we drop her off she doesn't even look back at us. Recently, Pepper has struggled being reactive on leash. We live in a high rise building, so it was an emotion she encountered a few times a day. We called See Spot Run and enrolled her in a 2 week board and train camp with Ruth and Matt. The amount of difference those 2 weeks made was enormous. We had started to lose hope Pepper could be on leash around other dogs. Ruth and Matt scheduled multiple sessions with my husband and I to make sure we were trained on the techniques they taught Pepper. Pepper has been home with us post training for about 6 weeks now and has had only a few situations where she was reactive - even in our elevator lobby. Every person we've interacted with at See Spot Run is amazing. We feel so grateful to have found them and to have them help us raise a confident and happy pup!

As a dog owner who works long hours, I want to be confident that my dog is happy, well cared for, and gets enough exercise while I'm away. What has been most disappointing is the lack of transparency about my dog's day. There is no communication at all about how she is doing, whether she ate, how active she was, or any other basic updates that pet owners appreciate. The only visibility into the dogs' day comes from inconsistent Facebook group live videos, and there is no guarantee you even see your own dog. Whenever I have questions about my dog's experience or well-being, I have had to repeatedly follow up with management and the owners to get answers. When I reached out to discuss whether I wanted to continue my membership and increase my dog's attendance for her exercise regimen, I felt like asking for basic information about her experience was treated as an inconvenience rather than a reasonable request. That was frustrating and ultimately made me feel that my concerns as a customer weren't valued. I do want to recognize that the staff and drivers always seemed kind and genuinely caring toward the dogs. My concerns are not with them, but with the overall communication and customer experience. Better transparency and more proactive updates would go a long way toward building trust with pet owners.
