This visit I was disappointed because I ordered something just to try it out. It was the Sally pizza with cheese, spinach and anchovies. It turned out to be too salty for my tastes. I am trying to cut down on salt so when I cook I don't use any salt. And if I cook with anchovies, I always rinse them well to remove most of the salt. So I hate to say it but the pizza was edible but disappointing because it was too salty IMO. Otherwise the visit was quite nice as usual (4 stars) and we will be back.

The restaurant is decorated with Italian charm without the over cluttered feel of many Italian restaurants. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They were able to answer any questions we had about the menu and offered suggestions as well. The food is fresh authentic Italian and the menu is a nice variety without overwhelming the diner or the kitchen. We had the ravioli that was on special and a pizza - both were delicious! They also had a nice offering of Italian sweets that were very tempting, but we were so full from our entrees that we didn't partake this time. We will certainly be back to try the lasagna!

When the pasta dinner arrived I was surprised because it almost looked like a kids meal, the pasta was broken into small pieces about the size of the noodles you would see in Lipton noodle soup and the shrimp was cut up into small pieces, honestly I have never received a pasta dinner like this ever, it really seemed like a cut up child's meal. I did question the waitress about the dinner prior to ordering it to get her perspective since I had never ordered this at your restaurant before. The dish also lacked the flavor that was described on the menu. The other dinners we ordered were great. The pasta dinner was not worth the $18.95 price tag that I paid this evening. I did not complain or voice concern while at the restaurant because it was busy, I felt it would be rude to say something at that time. Our waitress did an excellent job tonight which we were thankful for.. I would appreciate a refund or credit for the price of the pasta dinner towards my next visit. The hamburger was 3 pieces of meat on a stale bun The chips were crumbs from the bottom of the bag 5. I was charged an extra dollar for the plain hamburger than what the menu listed (deluxe cheeseburger was $1 more) 6. I paid with a $20 bill for a $9.13 bill 7. The change I was given was 2 $5 bills (they just kept the $.87 change) I left a whole dollar tip and left! Other than poor service, poorly prepared burger, stale bun, bad chips, incorrect charge and incorrect change, everything was fine. I think they just want to sell pizzas!

I did make a 6pm reservation after reading the reviews even though it was Wednesday and we were seated on arrival. We noticed the place was starting to get packed so I do agree that making a reservation would be best or try to avoid coming here on the weekends if you have issues with waiting or being crammed in small places. From start to finish, everything was a delight. Here's what we savored: * The homemade bread and butter- simply fantastic. I was going to ask for warm bread after reading a review, but since the waitress brought it out immediately I didn't mind and honestly it didn't need to be warm because it was good as is. The butter IS a true winner. I had to pace myself because I didn't want to fill up too soon! * Apps: WARNING portions are generous enough to be meals! We couldn't believe they were appetizers when it was brought out. Crab Cake- I've eaten a lot of crab cakes and I will say no, this wasn't the best crab cake I've had in my life BUT it was definitely a really good crab cake. Especially one with no breading. It was served with a delicious lemon butter sauce. The tomatoes and green beans that also come in the salad are a nice touch and very enjoyable. * Entree- my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Marsala and he loved it! The chicken was cooked flawlessly, and the pasta was incredibly soft--possibly one of the best texture I've ever experienced. The marsala sauce was rich and flavorful. I also asked to have the crumbled sausage added as well (for an extra charge) because I needed to try this sausage that everyone has been talking about..... This Morettis sausage recipe does NOT disappoint. If you don't like "spice" you won't like it because it does have a kick to it, but I enjoy spicy. I will say I'm a fan of the crumbled sausage over the links though. It may be the same thing??? but I could go without the link casing. The ravioli were massive, perfectly stuffed, and absolutely delicious. Dessert: We couldn't resist not ordering and trying the dessert so we took it to go. They were offering a caramel apple cheesecake. After the food coma wore off, we enjoyed it at home, and I fell even more in love with this place. It's unlike anything I've tasted--cheesecake with apples inside is a game-changer! Every sauce and dish was outstanding, bursting with flavor and made with care. The pasta tasted fresh, the Alfredo noodles were my favorite, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The pizza was AMAZING. Hidden gem.
