Love this bar. This was the second time my husband and I have stopped by and it was amazing both times. Their espresso martini is one of the best I've ever had (maybe THE best.) My husband really enjoyed his old fashioned as well - said it was strong but balanced. Our friend said her spicy marg was SPICY but delicious! The service is great, the tunes are on point, and the drinks are phenomenal - fresh and quality ingredients. The environment is relaxed and inviting. Perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. The patio is super cute too! It looks unassuming from the outside but it's well worth the visit. I'd never been before but came for happy hour with some friends and had such a great time. The vibes are incredible and everyone seemed to be having such a great time. My usual gin & tonic was delicious and the cheese board was a hit with our group. The bartenders are some of the kindest people I have ever met. If you're looking for some high quality food and drinks, this is the place to go! Otto's is a pretty new business partner with their sister location, Headquarters Coffee, right down the street. This is def one of those places you want to visit when you want to splurge and go out with your friends on a weekend, though. $7.50 for a somewhat small basket of fries with beef/chicken/vegan meat, sour cream, cilantro, pico, and jalapeños on top, but then again they were REALLY good for some bar food. Otto's is so cool. It's packed on the weekends and hard to enjoy, but perfect for meeting up with friends on a weeknight. I hate to be this unfair but 4 stars for being popular. The small space provides a great, intimate atmosphere on off nights. For the same reason, weekends are a bad bet. Otto's deserves the benefit of its intended experience. Large crowds completely overwhelm the casual & intimate atmosphere that make it so attractive in the first place. read more

Second time going to ottos and probably won't be returning. Ordered a manhattan(9 dollars on menu) for the bartender to give me a barely stirred, borderline lukewarm 14 dollar Manhattan. Skeevy switcharoo of the pricing and a overall meh vibe. Even Nashville can do better lol read more

Worst experience we have had in this area. First one bartender for the entire place. Second we sat at the bar and he waited on several people that walked up to the bar after we sat down. We also ordered the happy hour cheese plate and got charged for a large. When you get your check it's just a total not itemized which is never a good sign. Drinks are incredible, they bring in food trucks on the weekends, and the ambiance is incredible day and night. The have a little patio which is perfect for day drinks on the weekend. We were recommended this bar by some friends and it did not disappoint! The cocktails were great and they also had a yummy list of food options that was able to accommodate vegans and vegetarians. We ordered the Painkiller and Prairie Flower along with an order of vegetarian tacos. Everything was solid including their service. This is 100% my kind of place! The look of it is cool--very unassuming from the outside, but the inside is plant & lounge furniture heaven! I love the menu, including the well done "vaccine" drink haha! Our waiter was a little unorganized, leading us to receiving white wine instead of rose... but luckily I'm not one of really be stirred up by such a thing. Wine is wine sometimes! Do yourself a favor and ask for Sebastian if you are at the bar. The scene is dimly lit, variety of seating situations to fit your crew both indoor and outdoor. I really wanted to love this place. Came on a Friday night. It was very busy so we had to wait on a table. No big deal. Our server was incredibly rude and standoffish. She barely spoke and ran away from our table as soon as possible before we could even add that we wanted food with our drinks. The drinks were okay. They were incredibly strong (normally I would be happy) but they were so strong they tasted bad! My friend ordered an espresso martini that was great. So we got 2 more after trying hers. A part of me hates to leave such a glowing review. Namely the part of me that would selfishly keep Otto's all to myself. But I cannot deny the general populace of Nashville from the absolute gem of a bar that is Otto's. This is the long-awaited bar that the west side of town has desperately needed. The atmosphere of Otto's is understated and excellently curated. A bar born from the remains of an old auto repair shop. This is an environment that is cool yet comfortable. The perfect place to sip on considerately concocted beverages. My journey began with a Boulevardier, my drink of choice. A wonderful blend of bitter and sweet. Otto's takes the drink one step further, subbing the Campari for Carpano Bitter. This simple substitution blows the drink wide open, adding a botanical element that elevates the drink beyond it's already delicious base. Next up was the Blonde Spritz, a variation on the aperol spritz. This blend of cava and nonino is absurd to me on paper, yet brilliant on the palette. A sparkling beverage, with the tropical citrus notes balanced against a herbal, bitter component. A treat for casual and nuanced drinkers alike. My final stop on this mind-expanding cocktail journey was the Killer Rabbit. A blend of mezcal, Carpano Bitter, and lemon. The smokiness of the mezcal will be a welcome invitation for any peated scotch drinker, with the citrus of the lemon and the bitterness of the Carpano helping to deepen the rich palette of this stunning drink. Long story short, this is a bar that, while not particularly well stocked, knows how to create some insanely delicious libations from their selection. I cannot recommend this new addition to Nashville's west side enough. read more

What a fun spot! We went here for drinks after dinner and had a great time! The location is great- this part of town needed a cool spot like this! Plenty of seating but still an intimate vibe, and the patio was covered and heated but still felt like a patio. The seats were comfy at first- by the end of our evening, we were eyeing options that weren't the tall barstools we were sitting on; next time I might ask to sit inside. The drinks were unique and very well made. We didn't order food, but the food menu seems great for a happy hour or late night snacks.
