We stayed several nights at this hotel back in March. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The usual tourist sites were either walking distance or a short cab ride away. The hotel is located around the block from the Barberini metro station, 5-10 minutes to the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain, 15 minute walk to the Colosseum.
The room was a decent size (King plus a twin) and the bathroom was surprisingly large compared to what we've experienced in other parts of Europe. They have a great complementary breakfast buffet at the restaurant which included cold cuts, eggs, pastries, cereal, juice, and some variety of fruit. The cappuccino's were great so we put down quite a few of those.
We ate dinner in the restaurant once and it was surprisingly good. We weren't expecting much from a restaurant at a hotel but we were pleasantly surprised. My wife ordered the "Cacio e pepe" and it was the first time trying it for both of us. It was very very good and something I'll look for again. I had the Linguini with mixed seafood (shrimp, calamari, and clams in an olive oil and tomato sauce). It was very good and comes a close second to the best dish I've had in Rome.
Don't expect much on TV especially if you're wide awake at 1am and can't go to sleep. There are a lot of American shows but they're all dubbed in Italian. They have good wifi so I watched a lot of Netflix instead of TV. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. read more
