Went on a last min trip to Colorado w/o much planned besides hiking. Being gluten free & driving hrs between parks I was sure I wouldn't have anything to eat until my daughter found this place. She read the menu & I was shocked. I haven't had a fried chicken sandwich in ages. Everything about this place was 5 stars. The service was perfect, friendly, attentive, answered all questions. You could tell they cared. The atmosphere was adorable, South Park bathroom had us giggling. The food was amazing. The gluten free bun didn't fall apart even with wet toppings such as cole slaw. The chicken was moist and very flavorful. We drove 2 hrs back to eat here twice on our trip and both times I had the hot honey chicken sandwich, gluten free with Cajun fries (also gf). Driving through the mountains in Colorado and was hungry. Didn't see much but then spotted a small place on the side of the road with 12 people outside. Pulled into a small parking area and walked in to a counter where you order. It was lunch so we skipped the delicious sounding breakfast burritos and decided on an Original Chicken Sandwich, Hot 'Strami, and Cheesy Bacon Cowgirl Fries. The latter was a large platter of excellent, crispy fries with melted cheese and bacon, a special ranch sauce and a side of sour cream. Very good. The chicken sandwich was large breast meat on a bun with dill pickles and a honey butter. Superb. The pastrami sandwich was thin sliced meat, a great coke slaw with heat, Swiss cheese and their special sauce. It was also very good. Place your Oder with a very efficient counter girl, pay, then grab a seat on the outside picnic tables. They bring it out to you. Overall great lunch, a little pricey but what isn't now. read more

My BF and I both had 2 different chicken sandwiches. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich. It's served on a toasted brioche bun with lettuce and tomato. My BF had the hot honey chicken sandwich. It's served with toasted brioche bun with handmade coleslaw and your choice of blue cheese or ranch. Both sandwiches were perfectly breaded and fried. The chicken is tender and moist. The toppings are fresh and the sandwich melted in my mouth! This is an amazing chicken sandwich! The fries with the Cajun seasoning are fire and well cooked. We would give Otto's a 4.8 stars for food and quality. The only thing that would have made it better was the price. Small dining room (seats about 20) but does have outdoor eating areas. Music was obnoxious and played too loudly. If it didn't cost so much, I would definitely go back and try other items.
