I was reading reviews from other folks after I ordered and sat down. The average of 3 stars is not very encouraging, but my pizza - half and half, with spicy pulled pork and scallion, and the other half, sausage and vadalia onions, were awesome! The pizza was a total package - great thin crust, great cheese, and the just the right portion of the toppings. I opted for unlimited fountain soda for $3 each person. The whole large 16" pizza plus the drinks were $30. These days, I think it is a pretty good deal. The service was prompt and friendly. The location is hard to miss, and easy to access from the street. Hard to find parking though. Pretty casual and easy place to have lunch, like any pizza shop. read more

I ordered lunch from Otto via a catering app. Although the pizza looked delicious I went with a salad, which was an average salad. The portion was mediocre. The chicken was bland and cold, but the actual greens and toppings were good. I have been inside Otto and can say it's modern and casual inside. I would eat from Otto again. read more

I cannot give it less so I will go with the one star. I ordered a small cheese pizza from Otto in Andover through Grub Hub The pizza was ice cold. It was not delivered in the pizza special package that keeps it warm.I paid over $25 including tip, tax, etc. I could not even eat it.... I called the restaurant to let them know. They said that they cannot do anything because it was through Grubhub. Really???? so doesn't the driver get the pizza from the restaurant???? I then called GrubHub and they offered me a $5 credit to my account..... This is insulting and unacceptable. I could not order directly from the restaurant, so I had not choice. I've been a fan of OTTO Pizza ever since I lived in Maine for a few years. The unique flavors and thin crust make their pizzas delicious yet not overkill. It's one of those places where you can feel like you're indulging a without the dreaded overeating stomach ache. I don't delivery from OTTO for the first time since moving to Medford from their Arlington location. Reasonably priced for sure even with the delivery charge through the third part site. The standard cheese was just that -- hot, not too saucy and wonderful in every bite. Unfortunately, the pulled pork and mango pizza was a bit of a miss. I had ordered this pie thinking it was a unique riff off of a controversial favorite (Hawaiian Pizza) and was sad to see virtually NO pulled pork when it arrived. It ended up being a cheese pizza with mango slices all over it. Don't get me wrong, it still tasted alright but I found myself wishing it had been delivered complete. Nevertheless, I still love their pizzas and will for sure be giving this place another shot. * * * *UPDATE: a representative from their team reached out via Yelp and expressed a sincere apology and commitment to doing better. I've been to several of their locations but most recently their East Arlington one and their Neapolitan style hits the spot without making me feel overstuffed or under satisfied. I also tried their Tiramisu and was pleasantly surprised with it, considering it came in a small plastic container and looked a little questionable. (The powdered cocoa made things a little messy). Otto pizza is delicious. Crust has to be the best I have ever had. The 4 cheese pizza is a work of art. But here is the BUT. The delivery is a nightmare. If you try it on any app or their own app most likely they will tell you the place is closed. I thought it was just the volume of pizza they must be doing until I showed up to pick up last night. It's chaos in that place. Disorganized, staff aggregated. This is also our third attempt at the sausage and onion pizza. At $25ish bucks for a pizza pit a whole sausage at the very least on it. Surprised that this place has such a low rating. I have only gotten take-out from here once, but I had a good experience. My boyfriend and I decided to try the eggplant, basil, and ricotta pizza & the pulled pork with scallions pizza. Both were amazing! The crust is super thin, although I still found it to hold the pizza fairly well. The eggplant, basil & ricotta was fragrant and tasty. I love this combination in a pizza. The pulled pork and scallions pizza was pretty good, although it wasn't my favorite. Interesting combination though. It also makes me happy that the pizza isn't super greasy either! We ordered both pizzas in the Small size, which should be decent enough to fill anyone up if you're eating by yourself. It costs about $13/pizza, which is a little expensive, but worth it IMO. To whom it may concern, I went to Otto on 202 Massachusetts Avenue on Saturday, November 23 at approximately 9:25PM. As soon as I entered the pizzeria, I was asked if I was here to pick-up an order. I responded saying that I am here to order in the store. The customer service was terrible. I was rushed to make an order and got my pizza heated up for 10 seconds. I requested to have it to stay. However, the cashier rudely said that all the tables were cleaned and was currently not seating any customers, because they were closing. Upon opening the pizza box, I was surprised to see the slices carelessly thrown in. To top off the horrible experience at Otto, the pizza was THE WORST I have ever had. There was barely any tomato sauce and the dough was spread out so thinly that the light was able to shine through it. I was basically eating a cold cheese flatbread. I am extremely disappointed, not to mention how incredibly expensive it was for the quality and service that was provided. I have attached pictures of the slices as proof of how poor the quality was. We walked in. The employee was on the phone. No eye contact, no recognition that we were there. We didn't know what to do so we sat at a table. Waited for 5 mins. Nothing happened. Walked back to the counter but another customer was there. When told that we had entered the restaurant first, the employee said he was on the phone taking a big order and that's why he didn't pay attention. He could have made eye contact and acknowledged customers. But no. His excuse: a big catering order. Hello! Multitasking!! Not asking much here: just acknowledgement. So he served the person who arrived after we did. Not sure why, but perhaps a hairy young man ranks higher than two women. Eventually, we were allowed to order. My friend got a slice. I ordered a pizza. Employee said mine would take 15-20 minutes and handed my friend a tepid slice. We sat down. I cleaned the debris from the table and noticed some congealed tomato stuck on the surface. I couldn't scrub it off with a napkin. Finally, my pizza was ready. (Went back to the counter.) It came in a box. I had to ask for utensils. I was given plastic utensils that melted when I tried to cut my pizza. Had to go back to the counter for sturdier utensils - which they had. Why didn't I get those in the first place? A simple pizza generated a lot of garbage: the box, the paper plates, two sets of plastic utensils, plastic cups for water - REALLY? No recognition of us as customers, tables dirty, we cleaned up our dishes - please tell me WHY-OH-WHY is there a space for tips on the receipt? What are customers supposed to be tipping for? Being ignored? Having to eat at unhygienic tables? Do tell! read more

I saw the Otto pizza boxes in my neighbors recycling bin and thought I need to try them. I got the hot honey, cup pepperoni and goat cheese last week and it was great. So this week we got a large cheese and my wife also got a Cobb salad. We both loved the pizza. I don't usually like chunky tomato sauce and while this wasn't chunky, it wasn't completely smooth, but the taste of the tomatoes was great. We will definitely be ordering from them again. read more

I'm all about that Butternut Squash Pizza, so much yumminess in each bite. I usually grab pizza to go from the Harvard Square location but sitting down and savoring it while it's warm and oozing is so much better. The boo and I stopped by for a quick dinner before heading to the movies. It was pretty crowded so we had to awkwardly hover around the tables, but we eventually got a spot and the staff brought over our pizza along with one of the boxed Caesar salads. The salad was what you would expect out of something that sits in a fridge, but we wanted some nutritionally-void greens. Too often times I've found Yelp to be that place where everyone with even the slightest, ridiculous grievance comes to vent their frustrations. I on the other hand have come to praise a, new to our area, local pizzaria. Otto Pizzaria here in Exeter, NH has been a very welcome addition. I've been there on numerous occasions (I would never leave a business review after only one visit) and have thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas. Take out orders are always hot and ready when they say they will be ready. The ingredients used appear to be of very high quality which lends itself to a very tasty pizza and I find the staff to be both helpful and courteous. The venue is clean, centrally located and has lovely views of the Exeter River. If you like artisanal pizzas give Otto a try. They also have your traditional pepperoni and such but why not try something more interesting? read more

The staff here is wonderful--always friendly and paying attention and alert (under appreciated these days!). The pizza is consistently delicious and ready super fast. It's kept warm right by the door for easy pickup and I still get a hello and thank you from staff even though I'm just grabbing my online order and running in and out. My toddler loves pizza and we brought her here last evening. We asked what vegetarian slices they had available. The person at the register said they had cheese. I ordered 2 cheese slices and were starting to get seated. they then checked and said they only had one slice of cheese and that we had to wait 10 min. So we waited. 10 min later, they brought out 2 cheese slices, one that was lying around - had literally a layer of cheese (read inedible) and a new fresh slice. I did not want to give my toddler a super hot slice. but that older cheese slice- no one should be buying that- let alone being charged for it. My kid did not even eat it. she picked all the cheese apart and nibbled on the crust. I am sorry - but this is not what i expected at Otto .
