I only worked with them for a short time - but I feel that they have a high amount of integrity and will treat their customers fairly and with honesty. Ernie was unprofessional and has completely lost his customer focus. Dropping the ball on more than one occasion. He cost crash champions money today, in addition I've filed a complaint with USAA. They've retracted the funds and I'm taking my business elsewhere. Just wanted to inform Mr. Ebert of the incompetence of this facility. Wheel Align It is simply an honest mechanic shop that does good work at a good price. I used Heidi…read moreand her family sporadically for years but would also try other shops that were closer to wherever I happened to live. Frankly, it's just worth the drive to head downtown to Wheel Align It. Last summer I received an estimate to replace my timing belt and get some additional work done from another mechanic. When I called Heidi she quoted me $500 less than the other guy and tried to talk me into putting off replacing the timing belt because she said it really didn't need to happen for another year or so. What kind of mechanic talks you out of spending money? A great one. As for the shop itself, it's a no frills place but is filled with a veritable menagerie. She has a dog, a cat and several birds that roam the small waiting area. The animals are friendly but like any shop you'd rather just get out of there. If you want to watch TV while you wait or have snacks and coffee this isn't your place. Also, while I've never taken her up on it she has offered to pick me up or drop me off when I've left a vehicle, which is a nice touch. Ultimately, I can't recommend Wheel Align It highly enough. I think they are the best in town. As a side note Wheel Align It 2 in the heights is a different outfit altogether. I'm sure there's a story there but I don't know it.

When I stated I was taking it elsewhere, they charged me over $400.00. I towed the vehicle to a 2nd place that was able to diagnose in less than an hour and I had to beg the mechanic to take money for his time. If you need a timely, honest repair, I would go elsewhere.

Of course it was on a Saturday no less. The gal who answered was so nice. She got their tow truck operator dispatched and told me they had no problem holding my vehicle, etc. Marcos, their tow truck operator, got there fairly quick and delivered my truck to their lot. He was super nice and efficient. I asked them to run a diagnostic if needed and let me know what the estimated repairs would be. I would have to figure out how to get back to ABQ from AZ, etc. My wife called them on Tuesday (I was up to my rear in alligators at work). Their initial find was a frayed PCM cable (truck has +255k miles). Wednesday, the gal called to give me the prognosis and estimated cost. I gave them the nod to proceed. She left a message later in the day to say my truck was ready (still swimming with those gators). My personal issue was getting to their shop to pay them and pick my truck up. They were pretty cool about how long it would take me to get that done. Yes, I highly recommend Aiden's Diesel & Auto if you need work done on your diesel pickup.
