She got their tow truck operator dispatched and told me they had no problem holding my vehicle, etc. Marcos, their tow truck operator, got there fairly quick and delivered my truck to their lot. He was super nice and efficient. I asked them to run a diagnostic if needed and let me know what the estimated repairs would be. I would have to figure out how to get back to ABQ from AZ, etc. My wife called them on Tuesday (I was up to my rear in alligators at work). Their initial find was a frayed PCM cable (truck has +255k miles). Wednesday, the gal called to give me the prognosis and estimated cost. I gave them the nod to proceed. She left a message later in the day to say my truck was ready (still swimming with those gators). My personal issue was getting to their shop to pay them and pick my truck up. A month later, all the brake fluid is gone. Brakes are still making noise. Took it in again. He said the fluid was collecting in the cylinder or something (?) and he would replace the "faulty" brake pads, and it was another $400 to fix. On top of that, he did this little gaslighting thing- "I didn't hear any noise coming from the brakes, but if that's what you say is happening..." Literally everyone else could hear it. So at this moment, I've wasted $4000. My brakes now grind constantly, not just when brake is applied. His "repair" of my steering? Nope. Now, if I turn far to the left, it screeches. I'm working constantly to pay off this loan, just so I can take out another loan and find myself another mechanic. FML. David seemed like a stand up guy, but his work is not good. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me.

I am…read morenot able to comment on the quality of work they perform as I was not able to get that far to have any work done. On March 26 I went to Northside in person to make an appointment to have my car serviced. I gave them a list of what needed to be done which was only standard recommended routine maintenance. I was told to bring my car in by 7:30 AM March 28th and to plan on two to two and a half hours to perform the work. Got my car there at 7:30. At 12:00 I had not received any information on the status of the service being done. I gave them a call and all I got was a recording. Left a message and waited till 1:00 for return call. I called again and got no answer, left another message. At 2:30 a friend took me up to check on what was going on. I went into the office and the guy I had been dealing with (wish I had gotten his name), was sitting there eating his lunch. He told me that he had gotten my messages and was going to get back to me when he was through eating. Apologized for my car not being taken care of yet but they were ready to get in shortly. At 3:10 we drove by again and my car was still sitting outside. Went in and got another apology and said they are going get in now. Told him not to bother as I was taking my car. Then he had the nerve to ask me if Monday would work for me. You can imagine what my response was. Will never be able to review the quality of work they perform.
