Excellent experience! Delicious food great setting with water views & outside dining. We had the grilled octopus....it was perfection , caprese salad with fresh tomatoes & fresh buffalo mozzarella, & the sea bass special. Everything was so good that we didn't have room for dessert....but we did take limoncello cake & coconut tiramisu home to accompany our Netflix marathon later

We had a great experience. Sat by the waters edge with a lovely view of sunset. The chicken parm was great and my mom had a pasta dish with seafood and a mushroom cream sauce which she loved! Then we both got dessert. I enjoyed the coconut tiramisu and she had the chocolate cake. Both were great but the coconut tiramisu was next level.

zuppe di mare and whatever the f they brought first - by mistake.

Christmas night dinner - not a single decoration in the dining room. Ok. It's not obligatory - just smart. I don't eat meat. I was served an entree that had sausage in it. I'm there with my mother who is probably having her last Christmas so instead of upsetting her I put the sausage aside from a dish that is clearly not zuppa di mare. Then they bring my actual dish. It happens but... then I saw it happen with another table but they told them that this wasn't what they ordered. I sat next to a wall of liquor boxes and watched as one of the wait staff dried glasses on the table across from me that had just come out of the pot wash. When entrees are 40 and 65 put your liquor boxes out of sight, find a place for your staff to dry dishes not in the dining room during service, bring a steak knife for lamp chops, bring the right food and consider putting up some Christmas decorations. It can't hurt given that the rest of the issues probably won't be resolved. I wouldn't go again.

When you have a sizzle dining incentive at a place like this, it's hard to resist going. This was the best experience I've had at this restaurant... From the table overlooking the water, the service by Jelena, the fabulous guitarist/singer, and of course, the impeccable creations by the infamous AJ. I only wish this sizzle menu was available all year round, even if it was offered at an earlier time of day so we could come in and avoid the throngs of people that naturally gravitate to restaurants like this. What a treat...

Liam was such an amazing server. If you go, he is worth requesting. He was very attentive and knew the menu. We even witnessed him accommodating an elderly couple on their way out. The food was amazing, and it is worth going during sunset!

After my experience on Thursday, February 12th, that's over. At 6:05 PM, I placed a small online order (mozzarella sticks, a calzone, and a sandwich) through their website, as I always do. Estimated pickup: 29 to 34 minutes. I arrived at 6:41 with my wife and kids in the car. Food wasn't ready, but "five more minutes." Fine. Five turned into twenty. Twenty turned into forty. During that time, I watched the staff take phone orders and quote every customer "20 to 25 minutes," no matter the order size. When I asked what the holdup was, the staff, who were genuinely doing their best, explained that new kitchen staff were struggling. My son was starving, so I left to grab him food elsewhere and came back about 30 minutes later, confident my order would be waiting. It wasn't. At 7:35 PM, ninety minutes after placing a three-item order, nothing was ready. I asked the staff why they were still quoting 20-minute turnarounds when the reality was 90+ minutes. I suggested they pause online ordering to let the kitchen recover. They told me the owner, Jared Grifoni, has instructed them to keep online orders on and to continue telling customers 20 minutes, despite knowing the kitchen is nowhere close to meeting that timeline. That's not a bad night. That's a policy decision to mislead customers for the sake of revenue. I requested a refund. As it was being processed, two of my three items finally came out. When the staff asked the kitchen about the last item, the answer was: "I have no idea when we'll get to that." I left at 7:46 PM, one hour and forty-one minutes after ordering. To be clear: the staff on the floor that night are not to blame. They were put in a no-win situation and handled it as well as anyone could. The issue is ownership making a conscious choice to overload the kitchen, deceive customers about wait times, and let the staff absorb the fallout. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full. When I left, it was almost empty. I won't be adding myself to either count again.

The restaurant he usually goes to was packed, but as it turns out, that was a blessing in disguise. Just around the bend we found Pelican Bend, and I'm so glad we did. The parking lot had a handful of cars, and there were a dozen or so people scattered around tables and the bar--definitely felt like a laid-back spot where locals hang out. The setup is great: several rows of Adirondack chairs, an outdoor bar, about 10-12 umbrella-covered tables, and a screened-in porch with another bar and additional seating. Relaxed, coastal, and inviting. Our waitress, Sydney, was absolutely lovely--friendly, kind, and honestly one of the best servers I've had in a long time. She was very personable and made several recommendations, all of which were spot on. We started with the calamari, which can be tricky, but this was cooked perfectly. My dad ordered the seafood chowder and a wedge salad and loved both. I ordered the grouper sandwich with a side wedge salad. Between the calamari and the salad, I was so full I ended up taking the sandwich home--and it was still delicious the next day after a quick spin in the air fryer. If you're in the Marco Island/Isle of Capri area, definitely give Pelican Bend a try. Great food, top-notch service, and thoughtful touches too--the sun kept shifting, and the hostess even came over to rotate the umbrella for us. A really wonderful experience.

Anyone who has tried to seat a party of 45 anywhere knows what a miracle that is. The hospitality here is the real deal. This is a true mom-and-pop family-owned Italian restaurant, and they treated all 45 of us like we were their own relatives. Warm, attentive, genuinely happy to have us -- never rushed, never overwhelmed, always checking in. And the food. Out of this world. Every single plate that came out was fresh, generous, and made with obvious love. Homemade Italian cooking the way it's supposed to taste. Our whole table went quiet, which with our family never happens. If you're visiting Marco Island and want authentic Italian food, incredible service, and a place that can actually handle a large group, big family dinner, or special occasion -- go to The Boulevard. The seafood selection on the menu felt limited. I expected more variety for a coastal restaurant. Appetizers were decent but did not stand out. The salmon carpaccio looked nice and tasted as expected, but the flavor was fairly simple. The frutti de mar had good flavor and the seafood was cooked properly. The sauce worked well and did not overpower the dish. The portion was disappointing for the price. The dish cost $52 dollars and only included three scallops and three shrimp. The rest of the seafood was mostly clams and mussels. I substituted angel hair instead of linguine which helped keep the dish lighter. The chicken Madeira looked great but the flavor was mild. With a stronger sauce or seasoning it could easily be an excellent dish. The kids meals were a win. The chicken tenders and pasta kept them happy and the portions were solid. Overall experience was good mainly because of the service and presentation. Some dishes need stronger flavor and the seafood portions could match the price better. Still a pleasant dinner spot on Marco Island.

We arrived around pm so the restaurant was not busy. Hubby and I had our choice of seating. They have a full bar, separate pizza oven from the other kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe is a little weird though. It's an Italian restaurant who plays sort of like cruise ship dinner music combined with sports on several tv's. There were several people working but one guy was the host, the bar tender, waiter and runner. He was pretty efficient but I'm not gonna lie, I watched him wipe his face several times without washing his hands. That sort of did it for me. Jinny's sandwich came out way before mine which wasn't a big deal as I know it typically takes awhile for a heavy pizza to bake. Not sure when I will learn, do not order deep dish pizza from a place that doesn't specialize in it. Just because you line a pan with crust does not mean it's deep dish. The sauce was ok but I would not order it again. It really was just a regular pizza with tall sides. Very underwhelming.
