    Cauliflower anchovies

Our hotel staff recommended this place because I have a seafood allergy. They serve mainly meats and also some seafood. My partner really liked the friend cauliflower with anchovies. The carbonara was not bad, a little too salty at the end for me but still very creamy. The duck pasta was very light and yummy. Grilled veggies were also well cooked. Spare ribs were ok and the grilled polenta was not bad either-- a little rubbery for me. We had no issues communicating with them and our waiters were very nice and caring. We each drank the house red wine which was a merlot.

OMG, the meat player was amazing!

Italy is hard for keto, but this place was awesome! Got the mixed grill carne platter and it was loaded with pork, sausage, chicken, spareribs, polenta (not keto) and it was all delicious, though we ordered way too much having only protein for breakfast and skipping lunch today, super hard to do considering all the amazing temptation in this fine city and country. There is amazing dolce/sweets every ten feet, and glorious pizza and pasta too. We started out meal with the fried stuffed olives and the porchetta with pickled veggies. My dining partner loved the carne and she isn't the carnivore/ketovore I am. She ordered a delicious pizza pie and only ate a couple slices of that heaven. It can be busy and we had to wait a bit for a table, but it was well worth it. All that deliciousness came to €73 and we will return next time we visit this amazing place,Venezia. You can find evil carbs everywhere, but this place has three meat and at a great value. Mangiare. and happy travels.

Ohhhhh so good! As much as I love the beautiful city of Venice, I love the food even more. Our hotel recommended this little restaurant and it didn't disappoint. One bite into my crispy slice of pizza: truffle cream, ham, Parmesan & rocket (arugula), and I was in heaven. There are a few negative reviews about the service at this restaurant, but we received outstanding service. We've spent quite a bit of time traveling Europe and there is a slower pace in dining than in the US.

Had a terrible the bacon and mushrooms pasta which was below average for the place. I asked for food recommendations but they dinette provide. Quite disappointed. Pizza was ok

    "Lasagna"

WORST restaurant/food I've ever had in my entire life. The carbonara was basically scrambled eggs and HAM and the lasagna was tasteless/dry and had no sauce. We asked to start with bread and he said "no, it comes with dinner." When the bread came it was like 2 pieces of Wonderbread. 0/10 would not recommend. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

First off, you come to this place for the pizza. Lol. The down part is....the service was incredibly slow!! Not sure if they forgot about us. Because it seemed like we did, till one of us flagged them down. Smh. But other than that! The pizza was pretty damn good. Others in our group ordered pasta. It was good, but the pizza is better. Drinks came out pretty good too. Also slow service on that. This place packs up fast. Reservations are recommended. Especially if you want to sit outside. Other than the delay, we would consider eating here again, but with all the other restaurants to try....probably not. Lol

This restaurant was recommend numerous times. We went here around 7pm on our first night in Venice. We were early and beat the dinner crowds and easily snagged a table outside. We started off with a caprese salad which was great. I ordered the spaghetti vongole (clams) while my bf ordered the tagliatelle with mushrooms. Both dishes were AMAZING. So flavorful and just the right amount. We finished everything. For dessert we had tiramisu. Everything was wonderful and we have talked about the dinner numerous times now. I highly recommend! For those who do not know the language: Waitors know/speak English.

Ostaria al Vecio Pozzo: Spareribs (served with polenta). Enjoyed them!

This restaurant is located just a few minutes away from the train station, far away from St. Mark's Square. We arrived for an early dinner at around 6pm and there were maybe 5 other couples there. Over the next hour however, the restaurant continued to steadily seat guests, first filling up the front dining room and then continuing to seats lots of people in the side dining room. This place is much larger than it looks upon first entering. The vast majority of guests seemed to be English speaking tourists. The menu is in multiple languages. They have a honest-to-goodness salad bar, which seems to be an extreme rarity in Italy. Do a lot of tourists come here? Yes, definitely. Would I call it a "tourist trap"? No, not at all! A "tourist trap" is somewhere where they provide inferior food and service at an inflated price for unsuspecting tourists. Although this place had a lot of tourist diners, the prices were very fair and the food looked and tasted authentic to me. Several other diners eyed my plate of spareribs enviously. (No, I didn't offer to share!) We really enjoyed our meal and appreciated the vast selection of entrees, seafood items and non-seafood items. I'd eat here again without hesitation.

    Delicious Lasagna.

Delicious food off the tourist path. Not great service but the food made up for it. Four pages of pizza. Definitely large enough to share but personal sized for a hungry human! The iced coffee (with gelato) dessert was the perfect finish!

Yelp, why do you keep asking, "is there street parking nearby" after one checks-in a restaurant in Venice, Italy- Lol. There are no cars in Venice, only boats and gondolas. C'mon yelp, get it right. Ok, now for the review. All food in Venice is good to great. Just get lost and find a place that draws you in. I had pasta/pizza at several places and all outstanding with different variations. This is not about "recommending" a better place, but rather recommending to find your place in Venice through your adventures in this small and majestic city.

Yummmiest food in Venice.... a must try. Everything from pizza to steak was amazing... so spoiled to in live in LA..... best food we had at Venice by far..

Overall, service isn't too friendly at the door. Once seated, the food was great. Sardines with onions and raisins, pasta with clams, & lasagna were great. The litre of red was young and not amazing, but helped. Definitely, make a reservation and enjoy. They had a great selection of pizza too. Our total tab was only €56.

Didn't see the server any during dinner. Must have been doing other things inside. Raining on us at our table and no help offered.:/

Decent food, but the service was so horrible. You could also tell they disliked Americans.
